Rosepaw woke next to Burningpaw and Goosepaw, who were grooming their fur and getting ready for their warrior ceremony.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the high rock for a clan meeting!" Risingstar called.

Burningpaw and Goosepaw eagerly padded out, leaving Rosepaw to trail behind.

Sighing, she followed and sat below.

"We are gathered here today to give two apprentices their warrior names! Burningpaw and Goosepaw, please step forward!"

The two cats stepped forward and glanced at each other before looking up at Risingstar.

"Emberstone, are you satisfied that Goosepaw is ready to become a warrior?" Risingstar asked.

"Yes, he is ready" Emberstone said proudly.

"I, Risingstar, leader of ThunderClan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn."

Rosepaw looked at Goosepaw, who had a gleam of excitement in his eyes.

"Goosepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do!" Goosepaw smiled.

"Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior name. Goosepaw, from now on, you will be known as Gooseflight! ThunderClan welcomes you as a full warrior!"

The Clan cheered and Gooseflight smiled and stepped back.

"Brightflower, are you satisfied that Burningpaw is ready to become a warrior?" Risingstar said, turning to her.

"Yes, she is very ready." Brightflower responded.

"Then I, Risingstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. she has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn.

"Burningpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?"

At that, Burningpaw stood a little taller before answering. "I do!"

"Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior name. Burningpaw, from now on, you will be known as Burningsun! ThunderClan welcomes you as a full warrior."

Rosepaw watched as Gooseflight licked Burningsun's ear and she rubbed up against his cheek.

Rosepaw rolled her eyes and turned away from their lovey-dovey business. Someone is going to be expecting kits soon...

Rosepaw perked her ears as she heard rustling a ways in the distance.

Apperaently, some of the others heard it too.

She didn't pay much attention to it, until she heard a loud screech.

"Dogs!"
