Rosepaw headed back into camp with a squirrel and three mice.

Risingstar followed slowly behind and nodded to Darkstorm, who was busy putting patrols together.

"Jayflight and Goosepaw, could you check the ShadowClan border?"

The two cats nodded and padded out of camp.

"And Emberstone, Brightflower, and I will check the WindClan." He said.

"Rosepaw and...." He was cut off by Risingstar.

"She needs her rest, Darkstorm. She just went hunting."

"We don't have enough cats! I'm sorry, but she needs to do this patrol."

"I'm okay!" Rosepaw said, bouncing up to Darkstorm and Risingstar. "I can do another patrol!"

Risingstar sighed, "Fine, but you are resting after this."

Rosepaw nodded.

"Okay, Rosepaw and..-" He was cut off once again by Brightflower.

"I'll go with her, after I'm done with the WindClan border." She said.

"Alright, you two can get the RiverClan border. Burningpaw and Risingstar, could you go hunting?"

Everyone headed off, leaving Rosepaw alone.

She sighed and padded to the Freshkill, which held the prey she had caught and a vole.

She decided to take the squirrel she had caught and padded over to some shade beneath a large tree.

Looking around, she noticed there were still signs of the battle. Dens damaged, claw marks in the dirt, and even faint blood marks.

Everyone was trying to be optimistic, trying to accept the fact that their friends and family were in StarClan.

Memories of the battle brought her memories of Scarletkit. Memories of Dustsoul, and memories of her father, Blazestar.

She sighed as tears started forming in her eyes as she pushed the thought away.

Looking down at her squirrel, it didnt seem so appetizing anymore.

She pushed it in a small hole in between the large roots of the tree, deciding to eat it later.

Jayflight, Darkstorm, and Brightflower came into camp and Rosepaw went over.

Wow, She thought. That was quick!

Rosepaw nodded to Brightflower, who flicked her tail in response and the two padded out of camp.
