Bua dadi glared at Anika and then turned to look at Shivaay.

B- Billu, I don't like her. Divorce her.

Shivaay and Anika looked at Bua Dadi in shock.

S- Bua Dadi, what are you saying? And why would I divorce her?

Shivaay asked with a frown.

B- How could you marry a girl like her, Billy? Look at her, she doesn't even have any sacraments, she didn't even greeted me by touching my feet and by looking at her, she doesn't look freshened up. It's already 9 am in the morning and this girl didn't even bath yet so how will she manage your household? Look at her, what is she even wearing. Tell me which daughter in law wears shorts and t-shirt after her wedding.

Anika had teary eyes because she wasn't aware of these things. Everything was new for her. Her parents weren't there to teach her sacraments.

S- Bua Dadi, it's her first day after our wedding so everything is new for her. She was getting everything ready since morning. She prepared breakfast and she even dropped Kiara to school because I'm stuck in this wheelchair.

Shivaay said while stating the matter of fact.

Bua Dadi just scrunched her nose.

B- Whatever. It's her duty to take care of all the family members. She isn't doing something great. I told you my husband's niece, Ragini would be best bride for you. She can take care of you and that orph... I mean Kiara.

Shivaay frowned at her statement and turned to look at Anika who was crying silently.

S- Bua Dadi, you cannot judge someone by looking at them once or their clothes. Anika is a perfect wife and guardian for Kiara so please give her a chance.

Bua Dadi scrunched her nose but she thought not to increase the matter as her son, Rudra was working for Shivaay as his manager and she can't afford Rudra losing his job and she knew that Rudra respected Shivaay so much that he won't even question him.

B- Okay. I'm giving you 15 days. Prove yourself as a perfect housewife otherwise Shivaay, you have to divorce her and marry my Ragini.

Shivaay and Anika looked at her in shock but Shivaay knew that his Bua Dadi can go to any limit to make him marry her annoying niece but Shivaay trusted Anika so her thought to accept the challenge and end this matter for once and for all.

S- Okay. We accept.

Bua Dadi smirked and nodded her head while Anika looked at Shivaay in shock.

Bua Dadi turned to glare at Anika.

B- Now go and freshen up or you want to stand here whole day and remember, don't wear these pieces of clothes again. Wear a traditional saree. I'm sure you must not know how to wear it so it's your first challenge.

Anika's eyes widened and she nodded her head.

She immediately rushed towards their bedroom and Shivaay followed her. Anika immediately took her clothes and went to freshen up.

Shivaay was sitting and reading his book when he heard someone cursing. He immediately knew it was Anika.

He knocked the walk-in wardrobe door but no answer. He knocked again but still same. Suddenly he heard a scream so he got worried and immediately entered the walk-in wardrobe. He couldn't control his laughter after seeing the scene in front of him, there Anika was lying down on the floor wrapped in her saree.

Anika looked at him and blushed.

A- What are you doing here?

S- I thought you fell down and I guess I was right.

Anika collected the saree in her hands and sat down on the couch. A tear slipped from her eye and Shivaay got worried. He immediately wheeled his chair towards her.

A- I guess Bua Dadi was right. I'm good for Nothing. I don't even know how to wear a Saree.

S- But you wore saree before.

A- Rose aunty helped me to wear it.

Shivaay nodded his head in understanding.

S- Stand up.

Shivaay instructed her and her eyes widened.

A- What?

S- I said stand up and hand over your saree to me.

Anika stood up in shock and gave the saree to him.

Shivaay started tucking the saree in her skirt and Anika looked at him in Confusion.

A- What are you doing?

Shivaay looked at her with a smirk.

S- Helping you or do you want me to divorce you?

Shivaay said while controlling his laughter and Anika glared at him.

S- Now tuck it inside. Now drape the remaining saree around your shoulder and pin it.

Anika did as instructed by Shivaay. Finally, she was dressed in the saree.

S- Perfect.

Anika looked at herself in the mirror and gasped in surprise.

A- How do you even know to drape a saree?

Shivaay looked flustered after hearing her question and he cleared his throat.

S- That's none of your business.

Anika noticed his embarrassed expression and smirked.

A- No tell me. I want to know the story behind you knowing how to drape the saree.

Anika sat on the couch in front of him and Shivaay glared at her.

S- You won't leave me without knowing this?

Shivaay asked her in irritation and Anika shook her head in negative with a smirk.

Shivaay just rolled his eyes.

S- Fine. When I was 4 years old, I was really fascinated with sarees. So one day, me and my brother, Om, tried to drape my mom's saree. Mom looked at us and started laughing. That day, she taught us to drape a saree and said maybe we can help our wife one day. I guess she was right.

Shivaay smiled and Anika also looked at him with a smile. She missed being with her parents in her childhood so she wasn't familiar with this feeling. She grew up among servants and her parents barely had time to show their face to her.

S- What happened?

Shivaay asked her noticing her sad expression and Anika just shook her head in negative.

A- I'm just lost that my husband was fascinated with sarees.

Anika said while bursting into laughter and she ran towards the door.

Shivaay glared at her.

S- Will you shut up or should I divorce you?

Shivaay said and Anika teased him by showing her tongue to him and ran towards the living room.

Shivaay just smiled to himself.

S- Crazy.

Bua Dadi looked at smiling Anika and then she noticed her perfectly draped saree and fumed in anger.

B- Took you long enough.

Bua dadi said and Anika looked at her nervously.

A- I...

B- Whatever. Now prepare 16 dishes as it's your first rasoi today.

Anika's eyes widened and Shivaay was also shocked.

S- But Bua Dadi, this much food? Who will eat so much food? We're only four people.

B- I don't care. I want to test my daughter-in-law's culinary skills so 16 dishes it is.

Shivaay frowned and Anika looked nervous.
