Flemish's POV

'Students! We are going to our annual outing this weekend!' the principle was unusually excited.

'We expect you to be on your best behavior.' he smiled at the student body that filled the auditorium.

Tiffany elbowed me making rub my now bruised arm.

'What is it?'

'This is it. You can have hot sex with your teacher in the cabin.' my cheeks reddened. I could not dismiss the fact that that is exactly what I was thinking. I took my chance to turn and see Baker's face.

His face was rigid with absolutely no emotion but something told me was not particularly hyped up about this trip. He shifted uncomfortable under my stare. His eyes found his stalker and they pierced into my orbs.

I felt awkward and diverted my attention to the people who were all smiles and giddy for the upcoming event. Tiffany started with what to bring and the clothes to wear and I joined in gladly.

Parker and Max were oblivious to everything and still on about the game last night. Meanwhile Mia was getting tips on seduction from professionally magazine educated and experienced Tiffany and me, ofcourse.

This was bigger deal than prom for me because it was stay over and it did not need much work and expense. Prom was hard work and honestly I do not want to go through all the shit that came with it.

Also the fact it was my chance to be with Joshua Baker. Tiffany and Mia went at it again as I began sneaking glimpses of the man I lust after. I do not think what we have is love but intense attraction is a better term to describe it.

We have been at it for a few months now. One of us is going to fall for the other that was for sure but something tells me it was not going to be him. The the way he held me in bed, the way he touched that made my insides curl in raw desire. It was all there. It was the way he treated me. It all kind of changed when he let me stay over that night. I think I started falling when he did that. When he decided to trust me enough to let me stay. It was one night but it gave me hope that I knew would be the thing that would eventually break me. His blue eyes were only filled with lust when he saw me. It was not love ever and I do not think I'd ever see that emotion through the windows of his soul.

Parker nudged my shoulder. He looked at me sadly.

'We're gonna hangout now. Your place or Tiffany's?'

This guy was relatively new in our squad but he was so very observant and underatanding. It was easy to accept him when Mia introduced him to us a year ago. He was one of us and we were ready to give him a major role in each of our lives.

'Tiffany's, oh dear brother-in-law,' I grinned. I wanted to treasure the time I had left with these people instead of mopping around because the guy I may start falling for has no intention of loving me back.

'That's new. Something the matter?' Max and they probably did not know. Oh yeah I did not tell them yet

'My father's home.' I sighed deeply.

'That calls for a slumber party, right babes?' Tiffany squealed. She changed the subject for me and that children is how a friend gives you space until you are ready to face your own problems.

'Oh remember when Max snorted ramen out of his nostrils?' Mia started laughing silly.

'Dude it was one time. Guys stop. You aren't my true friends. You bring up my horrible past' Max pouted.

'Aw you poor baby, ' I pinched his cheeks. Parker wrapped his arm around Max's neck and playfully rubbed his perfectly gelled hair.

'Yeesh man. Cut that out! You're embarrassing me in front of the ladies!' Max whined shoving Parker off to fix his hair. Parker chuckled.

I folded my arms and watched the two make a fool of themselves. It was funny to see two of them but jealousy hit the ceiling of my mouth and it tasted bitter. Bromance is a thing but Parker was taking my place. I tried hard not get my envy in the way of this innocent nonsexual love between these highschool jocks. I turned my attention Mia hoping to shrug some of my evil and petty emotions off. I was surprised to see her glaring at them.

'Pfft.' What I couldn't help it.

Mia turned me and smiled when we came to an unspoken mutual understanding.

We'll be drawing a line to this bromance.
