"what are you making, athena?" the voiced of my mother rang loudly from downstairs, speaking off with such a soothing voice.

Walking down the few steps of stairs as i took a peek at the two figures in the kitchen, tip toeing closer as a attempt of eavesdropping on their conversation.

"i'm making some hot honey lemon tea for mom" athena gave out as a response, showing off a soft smile as she faced the lady whilst her hand was still busy stirring the hot tea.

"such a good daughter" the lady complimented, giving a few soft pats on her head with a smile plastered upon her face.

upon seeing the two's made yana gave out a sneer as she clutches her fist tightly against her night dress, boiling inside.

"oh, what's the pill for? is kyunghee sick?" the lady asked, her face was furrowed with her eyebrows knitted together.

only getting a nod with a 'ehmm' from athena before holding up the tray, walking out the kitchen towards the back room, where she stays with her mom together.

Despite her mom, Mrs, Lee was the one who took them both in, she was able to find them in search of jobs and they too wanted a helper in the house. Everything was fine for kyunghee until someone threw her out from the apartment, leaving her homeless and lost. Since their family was already familiar with the helper and also Mrs. Lee (the lady) felt sympathy towards her, the lady brought up the topic of letting them stay with them in the house. Thus, the were still some room left if they cleaned up the house.

So they all agreed on taking them into the house but to make it fair, they would have to sleep in the storeroom, which actually seems to be bigger than their apartment before. Kyunghee was truly touched and appreciate with the kindful help, it would also bring her ease to raise her little daughter, which seems to be the same age as the lady's daughter.

The both of them grew up as good friends, but somehow athena seems to be getting the attention more than yana. Despite her grades, skills in cooking and sports are way greater than yana's, but athena didn't really wanted the attention, she was surprised also to be so good at them. So since then, yana started keeping distance from athena. Getting her bullied by the others and gives her dirty looks as she started taking care of her beauty.

somehow upon hearing the conversation earlier made a grin creeps onto her face, giving out glares as she follows athena's figure. Standing from her peeking position, walking down the few flight of stairs and headed towards the back room, passing her mom in the kitchen.
