"brrr winter's here.." renjun mouthed out, hugging himself as an attempt to keep him warm as he shivers. Breathing out as the clouds forms, making him somehow giggling, alone.

"you're a real weirdo, bro" haechan snapped at him, shooving his hands in the side pockets of his jacket as they started to feel numb due to the cold weather.

chuckling, "i know" renjun voiced out shortly before continue to breath out more air, forming more smokes. "look, i'm a steam dragon!" he mumbled as he forms more smokes whilst turning and jumping around donghyuck, somehow managed to grab some of the student's attention as they walk pass them.

after seeing renjun jump around, i too, tried an attempt of making some small smokes out of boredom while waiting for the girls. Curling up the edge of my lips, forming a small 'o' shape and tried blowing out some air as the smokes came out.

as renjun noticed donghyuck's attempt, he burst into laughs, "you're a weirdo too, idiot" he gestured, pointing at donghyuck as his tummy started hurting for laughing too hard.

donghyuck's face formed a grimace as he tried catching renjun but instantly halted his steps when he witness two familiar faces from afar walking towards the gate, which somehow made him flash up a soft smile.

popping beside donghyuck as renjun weights his body on the arm he rested on donghyuck's shoulder, "are they here?" he blurts out, somewhat stuttering in between his words as he catches his breaths, panting yet still having his eye scanning around.

darting his eyes at the two figures laughing together as they walked straight, getting every step closer towards them both. "oh, there!"

with renjun's sudden loud shout out, it manage to catch the two figures attention as well as the other students too. Both, holding up their hands, waving with their flash smiles from ear to ear.

Donghyuck's smile fell as he noticed athena's eyes immediately darting to other places with her head somehow lowered to the ground as he waved towards her. In that moment, a thousands questions and thoughts seems to be filling up his head.

shrugging it over with a smile as they both approach us closer. "Annyeong renjun!" hyojoo uttered, greeting us as she pulled away from athena's hands, jumping towards renjun's side. My eyes were glued to athena who seemed to be just standing there, like a statue so sudden.

"hi, athena" i started, peeking to see her face as she glances at other place with her eyes somehow shaking and her lower lip were bitten too.

shoving her hand inside her side pocket, "umm.. h-" her words were cutted as yana's arms suddenly slings with athena's, making her flinch with the sudden contact.

pushing a force giggle, "hehe, sorry.. but athena here has some business to be done" she sarcastically exclaimed, showing off a sly grin.

"yeah, real business" misun spoke as she suddenly appeared beside donghyuck, giving out a gaze before stepping on her toes, and jumped towards donghyuck, giving a peck on his cheek.

"hey!" i growled, stepping backwards from them as i rubs my cheeks with a scowl plastered. Glaring at misun for her sudden actions as my inside started boiling, just to notice beside her was athena, making an emotional face yet her eyes were still bugging out.

wtf, athena saw that.

"what do you think you're doing?!" hyojoo snarled, stepping forwards, facing the girls who wore grins on their faces, which made her disgust them even more.

crossing her arms, "well, athena told me to do so" misun annouced, giving out a grin as her eyes darted towards athena, everyone elses turned towards her too.

"i don't believe you?! she wouldn't do that to donghyuck" hyojoo snapped, leaning closer to them so she would be speaking in their faces.

"is it true?" i spoke, moving closer as i halt my steps a few metres from her. Furrowing my eyebrows, worried. Just wishing, hoping really she would say what i would want her to say.

please, athena..

everyone's attention was on her as she somehow only stood quietly with her eyes shaking before getting a nudge from yana at her side, "come on athena, tell them"

she only gave out a few nods before lowering her head, letting her hair cover her shameful face as my stomach fell.

misun let out a scoff, "anyway, we have to go home now" yana shrugged, breaking the silence between them. "tata, y'alls~" she bidded sarcastically, pulling along athena as their arms were still locked together.

My eyes were still glued on athena as i watch her back getting further away, being dragged by yana into her car with her head still hung low.

"a- .." trying to speak as my heavy breath made me hard to speak. "athe-" my words stopped as the door was being closed, leaving a loud thud sound by yana, who gave out a smirk before closing fast.
