The Selected have finally arrived at the palace and it is time for them to get the first glimpse of their future husband and family. The Selected have been given a quick makeover, and now that they all look their best, it is time to get the party started.

The venue is the posh gardens of the palace. It takes place at night, lit up by gorgeous fairy lights. There is room to dance, as well as tables to sit at while you munch on the delicacies provoked by the wonderful castle staff.

You will eat a meal at your tables before the dancing begins, and wait for the Royals to make their announcement, then the rest of  the night is yours. Remember ladies, first impressions count.

The plates from the meal had just been cleared from the tables when the Queen stood and cleared her throat. A hush fell over the crowd, as the Selected waited to hear from the Queen "It is a pleasure to have all of you here." She said, smiling "Tonight is your first chance to meet the princes, my sons. I entrust their hearts to you ladies. Treat them well." She looked around "Now, I'm sure all of you know the rules of the Selection, but I will recite them too you once more: 'A contestant cannot leave the palace on her/his own accord. She/he can only be dismissed by one of the princes themselves . There is no timeline for the Selection — it can last from days to years. A contestant cannot fight or sabotage other participants. If the contestant is found laying her/his hands on another contestant, causing her stress, stealing from her, or doing anything that might diminish her personal relationship with the princes, the princes will decide whether to dismiss her or not. (Yes you can, just don't get caught ;) )
A contestant may only have a romantic relationship with the prince they are competing for. If a contestant is caught in a relationship with someone else, it is considered treason and punishable by death.
If the contestant is found breaking any of Illéa's written laws, her punishment will be tied to that offense. A contestant cannot eat food or wear any clothes not provided to her by the palace. A contestant must be courteous to photographers, and allow them to see her/his lifestyle with the prince/princess. For each week a contestant stays at the palace, her/his family will be compensated. If a contestant is no longer in the Selection, she will have an aide to help her adjust to her new life after the Selection. Her aide will help the contestant find new housing and employment. When a contestant wins the Selection, she/he and her/his family will become members of the royal family. The contestant will also marry the prince and become the crowned princess of Illéa, taking on all the rights and responsibilities of the title. A contestant must be a virgin.
If the prince invites a contestant to do something with him, it is advised she shouldn't refuse — regardless if it's dinner, outings, kissing, and even more than kissing." Queen Hestia looked around "I trust that these rules will be followed and that this deletion will be a fair and honest competition for the hearts of my sons. Please enjoy the rest of the night." Queen Hestia took her seat. The Selection had begun.

Selected Task
Speak to the prince you are competing for, one non-selecting royal, and at least one other lady. If you do not complete you will be at risk for elimination.
