Three kids, and a cheetah walked down the sidewalk towards a mountain.
Roses POV
Zick, Elena, and I walked towards the ancient Armory. We were headed to the tamers meeting. I skipped down the path. "Well someone's excited" Zick laughed. "Weren't you your first tamers meeting" I giggled back. He blushed glancing at Elena who was giggling too. Her being a keeper and now zicks girlfriend she always comes to these. ~i can't wait to see teddy today~ we walked into the tamers meeting place. I walked in to see teddy waiting for someone. He had a flower in his hand, a girl with black short hair walked up to him and talked for a sec. He shook his head and she stomped off. "Wow, did that just really happen" Zick asked. "What" I asked cocking my head to the side. "He brought a flower and didn't give it to Lay" he said surprised. "Who's Lay" I asked them. "Zick used to have a passing fling for her, but now she's history" He's Elena smirked. I nodded Ok "but what doors that have to do with teddy" I asked. "Well when I did like her he was my rival he still hadn't gotten over yet, and she's starting to not dislike him so much" he said. Then teddy saw us, I saw him smile as he walked up to us. "Hey rose this is for you" he smiled handing me the rose, I blushed. I took it "t-t-t-thanks" I stammered. I saw zick get mad but Elena dragged him off to talk to him. I giggled and Teddy laughed "your very pretty rose" he said. Just then I had a flashback to before in the city.
Flashback wave thingy
"Your very pretty rose" the boy who ruled the social aspect of every orphaned tamers life said handing me a rose. "Thanks Even" I said taking the rose and smiling.
Flashback ends
"Woah, rose why are you crying" teddy asked worried. Just then Elena rapped me in a hug, and Zick glared at teddy. I put my hand on his shoulder. I looked at zick and Elena "can we talk privately please" I asked. They nodded zick glared at the confused teddy as w walked away. "Zick its not his fault" I said and he looked at me. He stopped glaring at him and put his arm around my shoulders. We walked into another room ware I saw Jasmine was she looked at me. Her face instantly changed "Zick what happened" she almost growled. "I don't know, all I saw was teddy" zick said the name with venom" gave her a rose , and said something and she started to cry" he said. I nodded to jas mouthing the word 'him'. She instantly understood. She shook her head "its not his fault shes crying" she said. She looked at them "she used to have a boyfriend" she started. I stopped her "well we dated for a year before I found out that he was cheating on me the whole time, and was doing it on a dare to break my heart" I started to cry Jasmine went to her monster form and hugged me. And both zick and Elena hugged me on each of my sides. After about five minutes of this Elena asked "why did that make thou cry when teddy gave you a rose". I wiped some tears from my eyes "well every morning, he'd give me a rose and call me pretty or beautiful or hot or something along those lines" I said sadly then whispered "every single morning". A new tear end down my cheek. Jasmine turned back into a cheetah " what did teddy say to you" she asked. "He called me pretty" I stated. Just then teddy burst in "oh my god, I'm so sorry if I said something to upset you" he scrambled for words. I shake my head "its not your fault, I just remembered something sad's all" I told him. He surprised everyone in the room, by hugging me. Not like a your my friend hug either like I love you and don't want to see you hurt kind of hug "rose I now we only meet today but, I've felt like I've known you for years" he said. I nodded to him hugging him back. "Thank you" I said.
Teddy's POV (didn't think I'd do that did you)
~ swear I'll never let her go ever~ I swore to myself. Ten I saw a gleme come from around her neck. I saw it was a beautiful silver pendent that looks like one I gave a pinkette about 10-11yeatrs ago.
Roses POV
I felt his grip loosen he was looking at my necklace. I smiled "ware'd you get this" he asked me pointing to my necklace. "Well before my mom died I used to have a friend" I started. "He was a blonde like you Teddy, I can't remeber his face now, but he gave me this necklace" I said sighing "the day before my mom and brother died and my life took a turn for the bad" I looked at Jasmine "well semi-bad" I said. He smiled "I remember a pinkette I used to play with at that time, I gave her a necklace that looks like yours then the next day she didn't come back I haven't seen her since" he said. My eye's widened so did his. "Oh my god" we said at the same time "your my childhood friend" we said. Everyone looked at us like we were crazy, We just laughed. "I can't believe I found you again" he said. "Yeah I know what you mean" I said we both sighed. "Welp don't we have a meeting to attend" I asked I saw three heads shake and one pair of shoulders shrug. "Us kids just hang out while the adults talk" they said. "Cool"I shrugged " so what do we do" I asked. "We sit and talk" all three said once "not much different from the adults" zick said. "Can I go exploring on my own" I asked. They all nodded I walked out of the room and into the girl from earlier. She saw the rose and got mad. "Well if it isn't the girl he gave my rose away to" she snarled at me "give me back my rose and stay away from my man" he warned. I held the rose closer "umm, how about no he gave it to me" I said. "Well, you little pest he would have given it to me if you weren't here" she growled "now hand it over" she put her hand out. I shook my head "oh and besides hes my boyfriend anyway so stay away" she sneared. I feel tears well up in my eyes, I turned and ran hugging the rose to my chest. I ran past thew common room and to an oveusly unexplored part of the caves I found a secluded spot that's hard to get to and sat. I cried for awhile. Then I saw a flying monster fly up to me. It pulled me close to its side and pulled its tail around me. I hugged it crying into its fur. I heard voices of bad monsters nearby before I could even ask I was put on the monster back and she was flying up. "Oh by the way, I'm Angel" it said. I smiled "I'm rose" it looked like it smiled back. "Your my destined rider rose" he said. "Ok Angel" I smiled at her. She fly's me back to the others. I thank her and get off then I'm bombarded by teddy, zick, and elena. "What happened" and "ware'd you go" 's soon followed. I told them a secret spot ware I'll go to be alone and that I meet my flyer. They smiled "Ok" zick said "at least your not hurt". I look down " what happened" Elena asked. "Well I'm not physically hurt" I said. "Boys us girls need to talk privately please" Elena said sternly. "Yes" they both said walking a few yards away to talk. "Ok so who said what" she asked when they were out of earshot. "Before I answer that answer me this" I started, as she nodded "is teddy dating lay". She grimised shakeing her head "she just wishes now that he got over her" she smiled. "Did she say she was" she asked. I nodded "ohhhh that little girl Gonna pay" she said. I giggled "well one good thing that came from that" I said. "What's that" asked the witch from behind me. I turned to her "wares my rose" she asked me. I started to glare "Ok first off that little lie won't work on me anymore. Second do you know who I am, who my mother was" I asked. She glared back "no, I don't but the then again I don't care I'm a level four tamer what are you" she asked. I smirked "if I had been trained I'd be a level 16 tamer" I said. Her glare hardened "nice try there's only one tamer left even close to that level and that's a guy" she sneared. I rolled my eyes "that tamers my uncle" I stated smirking letting the knowledge sink in "why do you think I've never been here before why I'm a new kid" I continued. Her eyes widened "you can't be that entire family was killed" she said knowingly. I shook my head "not all one servifed and was hidden away in the monster city" I stated "for 10 years" I added. She shook her head "yeah right, sakura, rose, and Terra all died that day 10 years ago" she stuck with her story. "No all but one the sort you were told was lie to protect the living member that wasn't brainwashed" I almost yelled "I watched my mother die while I couldn't do anything and my brother he threw me into a stream to save me from him who they a had yet to finish brainwashing to do there bidding" I started to cry again Elena hugged me. Then I saw her glaring at lay who had two boys behind her then a cheetah and two adults behind her. She turned all she got from them were glares. "Lay might want to go to your family now" zob said in a scary calm voice. She nodded quickly "and" he stopped her "leave my niece alone" he said She gulped and ran. All my family and Teddy came to hug me my newest friend rapped her tail around us. After a minute of hugging we separated. I smiled sadly uncle zob looks at me "your mother wouldn't want you to have had the life you lived till now" he said. "Thanks uncle zob" I said they all smiled sadly. We walked back as Lay's family walked up "you tretened our youngest" they huffed. "And she threatened our strongest" aunty and uncle said in sync. They glared "who huh" they asked. Zob pushed me forward I clung to his arm. "That little squirt" the oldest one asked. Zob smirked "would you have called my sister sakura that" he asked. All eyes widened "what" was the question that ran out through the caves. Zob nodded "I should have done this sooner" everyone he started " this is my niece rose Barrymore " he said. They all looked at me and I sheepishly waved. Courses of "it can't be" 's and "no ways" 's rang out. They looked closer at me. "Oh my god" the odor woman said. Zob nodded "she looks exactly like her mother" he said. She nodded "I can see that, by god how did I not see it" she exclaimed. She then bowed "I don't care what Lay said I apologize" she said. The two girls round her looked at her like she was crazy "but mom" the other two said. she turned to them giving them a mother look. "her mother is the one i trained you to respect since your birth, the strongest female tamer as well as an awesome single mother of two" she said. there eyes widened "really" they questions. there mother nodded "shes zobs twin sister's living child" she said. "Well if we want to be technical only mom that day, cant say for now but my older brother was hypnotized by gorkas not killed" i stated much to everyones shock. Uncle Zob hugged me "we'll find him, i promise" he said. I nodde thanking him, then it turned into a group hug.
