I went home to change for the art exhibit and when I arrived back Serena was there with Blair.

"Twice in one day you're in Brooklyn. Are you feeling, okay bestie?" I wrap my arm around her shoulders.

"I asked to meet your brother here. At least you and Serena will be around."

"I will but this is actually a date so it's Serena first." she nodded

"Wait your first day is at an exhibit you've been setting up for?" Serena wondered

"Yeah, simple, casual. easy. See you later." I walk in ahead of them and head into the main room. I see Dan talking with his Dad.

"Hey, this is a great turn out you must be so thrilled, Rufus." I smile

"I am, thank you. I'll leave the two of you too it." then it was the two of us.

"Hey." we greeted each other then kissed.

"Dan." I pull away and pressed my lips together. Serena who I just told that I was here on a date decided to come and personally break our moment.

"Hey." he looked over my shoulder and turn and hook my arm through his

"This is a huge turn out, Aaron must be so thrilled." She beamed "And your Dad."

"Yeah. Yeah, it's pretty amazing. I thought you were gonna be with Chuck tonight, what happened?" Dan questioned Blair

"She is but she told him to meet her here." Serena spoke for Blair again.

"Yes 'she' is freaking out. She needs a drink." Blair stared at Dan

"Let me see what I can do about that for her."

"no, Dan." he left and I let out a frustrated laugh. Clenching and un clenching my fist.

"Are you okay, Rose?" Serena wondered

"Bitch shut the fuck up or I will rip your hair out." I snap "I told you not even five minutes ago that I was on a date, what do you do? Come right over and not only break up a really amazing moment but you strike up a conversation."

"You sound jealous?" she smirks

"Then maybe you're hearing me wrong because I'm pissed, bad things happen when i'm pissed. Blair I would expect, no offence."

"None taken." she shrugged the comment off

"I don't care if the two of you are friends. That is up to Dan. Dan I actually trust, you not even in the slightest. Or are you so against Dan moving on. Wait are you the jealous one." she scowled at me as i turned the tables on her.

"You are and with your step sister no less. It must kill you that he admitted his feeling for me in such a bold way. Not after a pregnancy scare. Well would you look at that we're already off to a better start. If you'll excuse me." I went to find my date he was sat in the cafe.

"You had to say the D word didn't you." I comment sitting down

"Yeah I did, didn't I?" He huffed looking down at the table

"What's the matter?"

"Uh, Vanessa just told me that Blair and Chuck completely screwed her over." he told me

"Oh no."

"I just can't believe I let myself get sucked in to helping Blair. I know you want us to be friends..." he started and I cut him off

"Not friends just civil. Besides you did help, when I asked you too."

"And then I kept on helping because I actually want to be friends with Serena and didn't want to rock the boat."

"Okay, I'm gonna salvage this, Blair, Chuck and Serena drama isn't going to ruin this first date. I will text you in a hour. Be there or be square." I pointed to him then left

-3rd Person-

Blair came down from the roof after a disastrous meeting with Chuck. She told Serena she was leaving and did so. Serena noticed  Dan walking by.

"Hey, hey do you know what happened? Why is Blair so upset?" Serena wondered

"Uh, Yeah. Look, Blair and Chuck were going to self destruct at some point. So I may have helped it along." Dan shrugged answering.

"Wait you intentionally sabotaged, Blair?"

"I know you're upset. That was not my intention unlike yours." he retorted

"And what is that supposed to mean?"

"It's Amanda all over again. You sabotaging my date my potential future with Rosie. I told you that it was our date tonight, that I wanted it to be drama free. Yet you intentionally not only insert yourself while we're kissing but you bring Blair as well, who feels nauseous at the sight of me. That and I just found out they completely screwed over Vanessa."

"No, whatever they did to Vanessa that's different. This is about two people who love each other." Serena reasoned

"Blair and Chuck? Come on." he scoffed at her

"I don't understand. I thought you wanted to help Blair."

"No, I helped my girlfriend, when she asked me to. Then it was for you, you wanted me to help her. I don't care about Blair Waldorf. All of this is a game to her." Dan retorted scowling at his ex

"No. In this case it's not. Blair loves Chuck, she's just been too scared to admit it. I told her to talk to you because I genuinely thought you could help her be brave." Serena walked out. Dan went to go find Chuck, which he did, he was coming back down from the roof.

"Hey, Chuck. Hey, wait a second. Come on don't act like you don't hear me."

"I did hear you, I was just choosing to ignore you." Chuck retorted

"Well, don't. What just happened with you and Blair."

"Is none of your business."

"No, it is, actually. Look, I don't know how you feel about her, but I know how she feels about you. And she was going to tell you until I stopped her" . Chuck glared and him and left without saying another word. He then went to catch up with Serena

"Serena, hey. I'm sorry okay. I was out of line." he apologised

"Yeah, you were. I'm sorry Blair and Chuck messed with Vanessa. She doesn't deserve that. But instead of hurting Blair you should of been honest with me."

"Fine." he stopped her "You want honesty? I love Rose. I know you don't like it but I do. I want to be friends with you as well and she is cool with that but you're overstepping it when you force Blair and I into a conversation and pop up out of nowhere. You're forcing it and making me feel that if I don't help Blair out then we can be friends or you'll get mad."

"Blair is friends with Rose." Serena rolled her eyes at him then folded her arms.

"Yes, but Rose doesn't force me into conversations. The mosts she want is for us to be civil. She doesn't make plans with me and then spend half of that time on phone."

"Wow just wow. Well if you're so insistent on me moving on, Aaron asked me out." Serena blurted out in some half assed attempt at revenge but Dan wasn't bothered.

"Go for it." Dan got a text it was from Rose

'Our rooftop 10 minutes'

"I have to go, goodnight Serena." he hailed a cab and went back home and up to the rooftop.

"What is it with Bass' and rooftops?" Dan questioned seeing her look out over the city.

"The view." she replied

-Rose-

He looked around at what I had set out there were bunch of candles dotted everywhere with a blanket in the middle with Chinese food and sparking non alcaholic drinks.

"Impressive."

"Well it's not gallery exhibit but here there is no Serena, Blair or Chuck. No drama and just to make sure we're not interrupted even further I switched my phone off." I show him my phone which ever lit up.

"Well it's only fair i do the same." he showed me switching his off we sat down on the blanket.

Not the best start but it ended well.
