After class the two of us met up and we walked through the courtyard, everyone's phones went off. I opened my phone

"She can't be serious?" I showed him and he groaned we both knew what this meant. We'd been overheard and this time it was bad.

"Oh but she is." Dan replied

"Just one day, one day of normalcy, in New York is that too much to ask for?" I huff shoving my phone back into my pocket.

I met up with Dan again outside his locker, he was picking up his things. Students had taken to ranskaing for information.

"They ransacked yours too." I groaned I had just come from clearing up men. I helped him

"Turns out they're interested in what I eat for Lunch." he commented picking up his lunch bag and I got a scent of tuna.

"Tuna sandwich, I hope you have gum, tuna breath is unattractive." I joke and help him put his things away.

I was craving sweets, I needed sweet right now. Dan was with Vanessa for something I was heading to the Candy store. I opened the door and went in.

"Ohh Gummy worms." I clap my hand and grab a bag.

"Rosie?" I look up, Dan and Vanessa are here as well "What are you doing here?" Vanessa wondered

"I wanted candy so I'm getting candy." I held up the bag "I know I might regret it later" I touched my stomach. I grabbed some mini Reeces.

"We wouldn't hurt want that to happen would we." he joked putting his hand onto of mine.

"Cause that doesn't look weird at all." Vanessa replied and we looked at her.

"Oh no." Dan groaned

"How could you two be so mean?" I Blonde girl questioned

"Wait are they?" I pointed to them and he nodded they were the three girls that cornered him and Serena in the park

"Keeping it secret that you got her step sister pregnant." one of them glared at me

"Who? Me? I'm not pregnant." I pointed to myself and shook my head. Why would they even think that?

"How could you let them do it V?" the blonde asked our friend

"You know who I am."

"Please, dating Nate Archibald after striking out with Dan Humphrey? And we've seen the pictures of two cradling her bump. My mom told me about cravings as well." one of the sassed

"I'm not...I'm not doing this again. I can't deal with this." Dan shakes his head "You. Stay" he tells the three girls.

"You" he looks at me "I will see you later." he gives me a kiss and grabs his jacket. Leaving us with the three Constance wannabe

"So what do you have to say for yourself." the blonde who first spoke glared at me.

"Leave her alone, she was meant to end up with Dan anyway." I shared a gobsmacked look with Vanessa.

"okay, let me straighten this out." I stepped forward "I am not pregnant I have a thing in my arm that stops that from happening any time soon. What is going on in our lives is none of your business. Blondie, drop that attitude because you maybe a Serena-ette but I'm Rose Bass who can do a lot worse. You two, you're weird but tolerable give me your phone."

"Why."

"Because your tip will debunk this stupid rumour GG will love you for slashing fake unsupported news." one of them handed me their phone and I sent tip in

"Now scoot." they left us alone

I groaned in pain, too much candy. Way too much candy. I hauled myself upstairs to Dan's apartment and knocked on the door. He answered

"Dude, where your phone, my stomach hurts."

"I lost it, come on in." he stepped aside and and I stumbled in to fall on the couch. That was a bad idea that to be fair I would do again because it was so good.

The next day Dan took me to the palace and guided me up the stairs. I didn't understand why we were here, he just asked me not to ask any questions.

"Why are we here?" I Ignored his request and asked anyway.

"You'll see." we went inside and there were a bunch of people. Blair came over

"Surprise!"

"I'm confused." I furrow my eyebrows at the people that were here.

"Well it's to celebrate, Chuck taking over the company and you being his guardian angel." She beamed flapping her hands out.

"Right, cause that makes total sense." I drawl folding my arms. I get for Chuck but...

"There's chocolate strawberries, your favourite." she added cutting my thought train off

"I'm cool with that." i shrug. Blair new I had a weakness for chocolate covered strawberries. They were the perfect bribe if I wasn't willing to do something easily. Like Scooby Snacks.

"But first there are some members from the Bass industries board here." she guided me over to them and we talked. Blair got a text and stepped away.

"Excuse me. Be quiet." Blair called out attention "Chuck and his Uncle Jack are on their way up." Uncle Jack walked in and Everyone started singing for he's a jolly good fellow. But Chuck wasn't with him. Blair pulled me away towards my Uncle.

"Where's Chuck?"

"Relax, he's in his office. Though don't know how much he'll get done after the night we had." Jack smirks

"Excuse me?" I question

"Blair, we need to talk to you." Penelope started

"We put a hit out on Dan Humphrey and Rosalie" Hazel admitted

"You deal with your underlings." I huff and went to talk with my Uncle "What did you do? I know you did something, you're a Bass and conniving."

"Jack where's our guest of honour." we were interrupted

"Pete. Alice. Glad you could make it. Have you met my niece, Rosalie." i put a charming smile on

"Nice to meet you."

"Chuck's hard at work upstairs, actually. You should go see him. Perhaps Rosalie could show you the way"

"Sure." I lead the way

"Wait, I'm coming." Blair caught us up. We reached the doors and I open them up and walked in. Chuck was sat at his desk doing drugs with two nearly naked women.

"Chuck?" he looked up at us

"That is Chuck Bass?" Mr Holmburg asked

"Yeah. Who the hell are you?" Chuck retorted

"Pete Homburg. I'm on the board of Bass Industries." I shook my head and walked away. I went back downstairs and grabbed my stuff before walking back out. Chuck grabbed my arm.

"Rose."

"Let go of me." he didn't "Now, Chuck." he let go of me and I slipped on my coat and left. Walking outside I slipped on my sunglasses

"Rosie, wait." Dan stopped me "You're leaving? I this because of Gossip Girl" He questioned and I lifted up my sunglasses.

"What do you mean?"

"Check your phone." I took my phone out and read what it said

Hold on to your floppy cable knit hats, kids. Lonely Boy and Rising Phoenix secret is out and it's a doozy. R wasn't pregnant but there defiantly was a child involved. Seems D and S share a sibling.

"Great cause this is all I need. Fuck today." I groan in annoyance.

"What happened?"

"My brother drinking and drugs in front of the board of Bass industries. Deal with your family, I'm going home." I sigh walking away. If Dad was here, he would be pissed right now.

There was a knock on my door. I stood up and went to open it. My brother stood there with a dozen Roses in his hand.

"Come in." I step aside and he came in.

"Jack set me up." he told me. I scoff now that wasn't a surprise and Chuck was only to happy to make it easy for him.

"It wasn't that hard for him was it. Let's be fair we've kind of swapped rolled in restraint." I folded my arms.

"You said whatever we do, we do together."

"Something to that effect yeah, I did. But Chuck you've royally screwed up and coming from me that's saying something." I comment going into the kitchen and pouring myself a drink

"Then help me make things right."

"Ground rules, you cut back on the drinking and drugs. Back to the simple ways where it was for pleasure and a good time not over excess." I pointed to him. I was serious, we needed him clear minded

"Okay."

"We're in this together unless it involves jail time then it's all on you." I take a sip of my juice and he shrugged off my retort

"Naturally."

"And you need to help me settle a personal vendetta and you need to be civil to my boyfriend. No exceptions." I added

"Really?" I scowl at him "Very well."

"Yes, we may need some help." I held out my hand and he shook it. This means war.

"Where is Arissa, I was sure she would be here to give me some subtle glare about being a risk to your sobriety or something but I don't see or hear her" I huffed out and scowled

"Since Jack is my legal guardian and does not give two shits about me. He fired her with the excuse of cutting costs. Apparently you signed of on it as well. So cheers for that." He paled slightly

"I don't know. He must have either forged my signature or got me to sign when i was out of it. Either way it's not legal I'm sure..." I cut him off mid ramble

"Honestly it's fine. Besides her contract terminated after my graduation. Just make sure she is paid for the time she's lost. And is on invite list for the future as well as a good recommendation." he nodded in agreement. "I have Dan now anyway we spend a lot of time together and he makes sure I'm okay. It was just a shock to see her angrily packing her things saying that jackass fired her." I shake my head in disgust.
