I stepped off the Jitney. I had arrived in the Hamptons. I looked around and saw my brother with a smirk planted firmly on his face. I grinned and ran over.

"Brother." he lifted me up in a hug and swung me around

"Sister." He put me down and stood back "Well Mixed Martial Arts and Singapore have agreed with you."

"As does wollowing in your regret." His smiled dropped  "Sorry. Bad Joke. Okay let's get my bags and you can take me to the house."

Blair was joining us and I knew that he would try to mend things I told him if he didn't at least try I would hurt him with my new hobby.

"Rosie, look at you. You cut your hair, you have definition." Serena grinned

"I blossomed, it's true. Stupid is the person who fucks with me." We laughed "I can't wait till Blair get's here, the last moments of summer in the Hamptons lounging, the dream."

"Come on I'll take you to your room." I did and un packed, but then i also crashed missing Blairs arrival.

The three of us were lounging my the pool.

"You didn't do anything all summer?" Blair questioned "Please, don't tell me you sat around watching the closer and eating takeout from Nick and Toni's."

"No. Della Femina." she answered

"But what about those rumours about you and Nate. Him dating you isn't that his big dream or something. No offence Blair." I reply glancing at my best friend

"None taken." she shrugged.

"Completely untrue. They got people off my back about being sad and Nate could do whatever he wanted. It worked." Serena answered nonchalantly

"you're telling us you didn't have an fun with anyone all summer?" Blair wondered taking a sip of her drink.

"Well, there was this hot lifeguard that asked me out, but I turned him down." our friend answered, wow following all summer. that must suck.

"A hot lifeguard is like Kleenex. Use once and throw away. You couldn't ask for a better rebound." I started laughing, taking a sip of my drink.

"I don't think I'm ready. I still miss Dan sometimes. More than sometimes, all the time." Serena admitted

"The only thing lamer than dating Dan Humphrey is mourning Dan Humphrey ." Blair rolled her eyes

"Hey that's one of my best friends. Dan is not that bad well not all bad, putting people on a pedestal is just ugh. However, Blair, despite her friend bashing has a point, the only reason you're still sitting around moping is you haven't had a summer fling. I mean even I had one and I wasn't even in a proper relationship." My brother came over talking on the phone.

"James is the classiest guy I've ever met, you know?" Blair started bragging "He drinks gin martinis and he speaks six languages..." Chuck grabbed a handful of cherries the came to sit on the end of my lounger "And he gave me this amazing Bulgari pearl Choker with a gold B clasp on it."

"I thought your Dad gave you that. Who's James?" the Serena's expression changed "Oh my god B. He sounds amazing. The last time we talked you hadn't even met him." I covered my face

"Oh I know. He swept me off my feet he's so charming. Plus, he tells the best stories" she continued to lie and brag at the same time in a attempt to make my brother jealous.

"You're lying." Chuck stated. Well that worked.

"I am not."

"You're doing that thing where your eyes don't match your mouth." Chuck replied

"I wasn't aware that robots got jealous. Did they update your software while I was away." Blair sassed him. I tried to hid my amusement but I failed.

"Come on. You and I both know this guy's just a prop you bought to try and hurt me, like I hurt you." well at least he's being honest. I thought shrugging

"You didn't hurt me." She glanced at me, I don't think she was convincing anyone that much "Well, I will admit, waiting for you in Tuscany the first few days were mildly humiliating. When I realised you weren't gonna show, I rallied. Luckily I made a friend on the trip over." she smirked

"Boring Ben, my Dad's ex employee? By the way I had him fired just for you."

"He did, then i convinced Father Chuck was having a tantrum of his own making and Ben is in a higher position with more money."

"Either way, I owe him everything. He introduced me to James. I think he might be the one." Blair grinned

"Prove it." Chuck glowered

"I don't have to prove anything. If you want to get to know James better, I'll bring him to dinner tonight. I'll bet you'll like him as much as I do."

"If by that you mean I won't like him at all, then you're right." Chuck scowled at her.

"Miss Bass a parcel has arrived for you." Marina the house keeper informed me

"Thank you there is a God." I stood and went inside. There was a box waiting for me. I opened it .

Rosie, I made this with you in mind - Jenny

I pulled out a gorgeous white dress and grinned. It was gorgeous, I took out my phone and sent a quick thank you text before taking it up to my room.

Later on there was a car honk and I glanced back. Blair and I convinced her to go out on the rebound with the lifeguard.

"Oh a honk instead of a knock, did someone order a townie?"  Blair commented

"Oh god, the life guards got a Camero. And not in an ironic 'I've got a Camero' way." I jumped over the sofa to look outside.

"It's not even a classic, it's all new, shiny and I've got a small dick kind of way." I scrunch up my nose "At least he's only a rebound." I shrug

"Just go already. Luck."

"Luck!" I chimed

"You too, and if anybody asks. I'm out with Nate, okay?" she asked both of us.

"What are we amateurs, now go. Get that eyesore out of the way and no I don't know which one I'm referring to." I come away and give her a hug. About a half hour later it was time with dinner with Blair, James, CeCe, Eric and Chuck.

"So James did you have a chance to meet Harold and uh what is his boyfriends name..." Chuck feigned forgetfulness.

"Roman? Only briefly, at the chateau." James answered "Although cat didn't seem to like me nearly as much. I have the scars to prove it."

"You seemed to cram in an awful lot in such a short time together. I wonder had Blair had a chance to share her favourite movies with you yet?" he poured some ice tea into my glass "Tiffany's, Roman holiday and Charade" He sat down next to me

"I thought your third favourite was Funny Face?" James questioned

"It is. I hate Charade. Chuck, stop harassing him." Blair glared at him in an attempt to make him stop. I doubt that would happen

"How well do you know Blair Waldorf is kind of boring for those of us, who know Blair Waldorf." Eric replied as he and Cece joined me in watching the events unfold.

"Not to mention transparent" CeCe added

"Thank you Grandma." Chuck smirked

"Why is it, when you say that word, it sounds like an insult." She retorted back to my brother. "Rose you're very quiet."

"Well, I..." I tried to find the words and not laugh at the same time.

"You're actually finding this funny." Blair stated annoyed

"I please the fifth." I held my hands up in defence, I did not want to be caught in the middle when watching from the outside was so fun

"I don't mind. I would like to learn as much as I can about Blair and there is no better way to learn than a quiz." I took a sip of my drink

"It's a shame you guys took a bus not a limo." I started to choke " I don't if you know this but Blair loves a limo."

"Are you okay?" Eric asked me and I nodded

"Sweetie, will you pass me the salt and pepper?" James agreed and I caught sight of a little heart on his sleeve. Okay wtf.

"Excuse me. I think I just lost my appetite." He got up ad left.

"Will excuse me?" Blair followed and I calmed down. I started to eat, ignoring the weird stares the others would have
