Precaution

I request you to read this chapter before proceeding to the forms.

We graphic designers get many requests in all the time we're active. There is no chance that we have read all the stories we get asked to make covers for. That is why we add forms that tell us about the story. If you want an accurate graphic, you have to fill the form properly.

Title:
There's nothing much to it. Simply put, the title of your book. No biggie.

Subtitle:
This is not any quote or mandatory thing. This is just if your title has a supporting subtitle. Do not mention any quote or so at this place. They're two different things and it's important for text style and placement.

Penname (name on the cover):
Not everyone goes by their real name, and some don't have a name at all. So this is where you decide what name you want. This makes the cover a part of your storym there may be thousands of stories with the name "Little Fairy World". But there won't be many with "Little Fairy World by Anastasia". And if then it would be a huge coincidence or someone is maybe stupidly copying your story.

Cover style (text/object/face):
There are many styles, most common or object, face or text based covers. This is what you think suits the best. If you're writing a ff, then most probably go with face claims. So your readers see it on the first sight. Object is mostly used eith stories written in genres like science fiction or fantasy or history, etc. Text based means that the whole focus is on the text. Oher thinks as smoke or shards go well along, yet they are complimentary.

Story summary:
This is the most important part. Be as precise as you can. Everything is all about this part. If you write here, it's a love story, well then I can just add a heart or two random people, your title and that's it. Be precise. Tell what the story is about. (2 people are included in the trope of love to hate. The reason for it is a third person.) With this we get further but still not enough. Tell about the characters more and details of story. (Ahana is a westernised woman who loves wearing short dresses and meets Aman, a spoiled brat who looks like he is made just perfect. They fall in love. However, after Anaya, a simple girl enters their life, certain changes happen in the relationship of Ahana and Aman. It's a love to hate trope and the story revolves in the first part about Ahana and Aman's relationship and latteron how Anaya's entrance changed Aman in a good way and how he fell for her.) Like this the designer knows which face the people have and how to go woth the story. Obviously, some have the doubt it spoils the surprise so you can also send it separately to the designer. But please make sure to add as many details as possible.

Face claim/object claim (if any):
Just list up if you have any specific face claim or any specific object. If you don't add it then the designer will most probably find something by their own imagination.

Genre/mood of the cover:
This is another important part. There is nothing as "hate" here. This is about the cover, not the story. You can use dark, light, science-fictional, etc in here. Please do not come up with slow romance. It's not a reel but a cover.

Color preference:
In the cover and banners it's not about your favourite cover. You can name your favourite cover in the theme. Here you need to say which cover you think could suit. You can in general say "I want light colours". The designer will manage it somehow. Or you can be specific and say "I prefer pink color". You can state it but be open to your designer's opinion. Sometimes things are great on your imagination, but not the same on the cover. The designer would tell you the possibilities.

Any quote you need on it:
This is just if you feel a quote matches your story and elaborates it. It is not at all necessary to have a quote on it.

Any particular pictures to use:
Here too, if you have something then mention it but give the designer the freedom.

Any inspiration cover link:
Everyone has different talent. So never expect that if you give someone the reference to someone's cover that they would make it or make it exactly the same. It comes under copyright issues. But this gives the designer an idea about your imagination and things can be made accurate. Or choose an art work of the designer and surely they will be able to remake it with your claims.

Password-Rules-Tags:
We designers can only grow if people give us our credits and tag others for them to know. That's why rules are necessary and to assure ourselves, we add a password amid the rules to know you read all carefully.

Hope this helps you to fill your form
