4: You're No Friend Of Mine
Title Credit: No Friend by Paramore
You're no friend of mine, you're no friend of mine
I'm no savior of yours, and you're no friend of mine
A/N: the name I'm using is NOT the name of the girl Chad cheated with, I'm using a made up name to protect her identity.

Hayley's POV
"I..."
What was I supposed to say in this moment? All I could do was stare at Chad's face, his wide panicked eyes. And then my eyes would be drawn to the girl hiding her face from me, embarrassed to let me know her identity.
A stinging pain radiated in my chest, this all felt so familiar.
*Flashback*
Narrator's POV
"Chad are you sure about this?" Hayley bit her lip as they snuck on to the empty tour bus.
"Yes." Chad said impatiently "both our bands are in their busses and this is the only place I can think of."
"What if Kevin comes back to his bus?"
Chad turned around, his dark eyes boring into her soul. "He won't. Now get on the damn bus."
She nodded quickly and did as he said. Chad closed the door and picked her up, taking her to the back bedroom.
"Chad..." She chuckled, half nervous "I've only done this one other time...with Josh..."
"And I'm sure it sucked, and I'm gonna show you what a real man can do." He kicked the door open and tossed her onto the bed.
He pressed his lips to hers roughly. It's not that she hadn't thought about this since she and Chad began their secret romance, she just felt so guilty and she was so inexperienced. Chad ripped his lips from hers and started to kiss her neck. It felt good, he began to use his teeth which felt...off, but she got used to it. It's not that it was bad...just not sweet, or gentle.
"That was great" Chad smiled. Hayley smiled and nodded weakly. He smiled and looked in her eyes "I love you so much."
She felt a genuine smile tug at her lips "I love you too..."
It was like a soft pink film clouded her mind and overtook her vision. Those three words were like her kryptonite. He knew that.

Narrator's POV
"This is what you were doing!" Hayley yelled, tears coming to her eyes and an unbearable pain in her chest. "This is why you couldn't visit!"
Chad frowned "baby I'm sorry...I love you.."
Hayley chuckled softly, she felt so many things. Hurt, anger, anxiety. Mostly anger in this moment. She wanted nothing more than to rip out his throat and the throat of whoever was under those covers. She didn't know what she was doing anymore. She grabbed the blankets and yanked them off the bed. She finally got a good look at the girl...her heart dropped, it felt for a moment as if it actaully stopped beating.
"Kelsey..." She whispered as she looked at one of her best friends.
The girl gulped and looked her in the eyes, "Hayles I can explain..."
Hayley felt so hurt, so angry. "Explain..." She whispered, "you think I wanna hear anything either of you have to say after this?!"
"Hey you're not so perfect!" Chad screamed, "half the time we're busy taking about all your baggage, fuck my needs right!"
"Your needs...YOU'RE NEEDS!" Hayley was so angry she threw the blanket back at them and stormed out.
She couldn't hold back the tears anymore as she got in her car, she didn't know where she was gonna go, she just needed to not be here. Eight years thrown in the garbage. All of her twenties. Her youth wasted on that cheating son of a bitch! It all raced in her mind; the lies, the cheating, the promises to be better. She thought if they really got engaged and ,arrived he would finally settle down, she would finally be enough. Clearly she was wrong. Kelsey of all people, some friend. She didn't know how but she ended up at Taylor's.
The curly haired guitarist was busy packing for his flight to New Zealand that left in a few hours. He was surprised to see Hayley's car pull up in the driveway so late. He put his suitcase down and went outside.
"Hayles...." He said. The headlights shut off, and a distraught clearly upset Hayley ran into his arms. He embraced her, "what happened?"
She sniffled, "he cheated again..."
Taylor rolled his eyes, "bastard..." He whispered.
Hayley nodded into his chest, "can I stay here for a while..." She whispered.
Taylor nodded "yeah Hayles, come in I'll make tea."
She shook,her head "I need something...stronger."
She walked past him into the little house and went to the liquor cabinet in his kitchen. This wasn't like her. She pulled down a half empty bottle of whiskey. She opened it and took a sip. It burned her sensitive throat, but it eased the pain.
"Hayley what are you doing..." Taylor said.
She looked at him, tears welling up again, "please T...let me forget."
He nodded softly and he didn't feel like he could tell her what to do right now or judge her. All he did was watch over her, as she drank her woes away. Something he'd never seen her do. Not that Taylor or Jeremy had ever really liked Chad, but seeing how he broke such a fragile, pure human, how he destroyed her completely, Taylor hated him more than words could say.
The sun was rising now. Taylor let out a soft yawn as he pulled a blanket over Hayley, who was curled up on his couch now. He had to leave now if he wanted to catch his plane. He felt a little guilty. He wrote her a short note telling her he was leaving and saying she could stay as long as she wanted to. He sat the not on the table, next to an aspirin and glass of water. He sighed and gently kissed her head before leaving.
She didn't feel it, she was enveloped in a deep sleep. The soft pink film in her mind and heart being permanently stained black.
