The Beating Man by Constringitur

A collection of poetry of my own making that all resonate around a specific subject: The Beating Man

In this poetry he is a brutal man, but it is a figment in my mind of myself, someone that keeps me trapped there.

The tormenter of my mind

I'm a Fellow Poet by randombloguser

Fresh smell of coffee , pen and paper ... Feelings striving to be set free from the prison of my mind and written down , willing to be conserved and rescued from being forgotten. Basically an embodiment of my souvenirs , dreams or fantasy ...

SYMPHONY of Emotions by ShwetaChp

Not all days are some. Every one has a new personality every changing moment, or just day.

Some days, you are jolly, motivated and just in love, so your heart sings with excitement.

Some days, you are afraid, sad and may be depressed, so your heart contracts with regression.

Some days, you are sensual, euphoric and on cloud nine, so it reflects in your way of thinking, speaking, and most definitely writing.

Misalignment by panicking--

"There are a million shades of grey between their black and their white - but no one ever cares to see them."

In a world with a limited view of gender, Cam Shills struggles to come to terms with their identity as neither male nor female, a shade of grey in the midst of a sea of black and white. The road to acceptance isn't easy, though, neither for themself nor those around them.

If no one wants to acknowledge the validity of who you are, do you really exist at all?

Vanity Mirror by QueenOfPrada

You ask the mirror hanging on the wall

Do I look skinny, pretty and tall?

If I choose to cut my hair

Would somebody even care?

If i starve myself

Will i be beautiful?

Forget about my health

If i cut my wrists

Will i feel like i exist?

Don't you see?

What you show ruins me

Why must we focus on every error?

That you see on the reflection of your

Jefferson Drive by cleverwren

"Jefferson Drive: where the dead end meets the highway."

The cars passed by
Jefferson Drive
unfazed and
unknowingly.
Ignorantly,
they drove onwards,
their minds too
focused
to see
none other than
me.

Their eyes were
much too busy
to notice
the girl on
her front porch,
writing down
every thing
there was
to see.

Well,
all but one.
One that
somehow made
all the difference
in the world.

It by DannyCepul

It matters not what people think regarding things you believe strongly in. Perhaps, it may even help to even spread a word or two regarding what dwells within you.

Don't be afraid of the thoughts you believe are truly nonsensical. They always have a place somewhere, and for me, these are a collection of the "It"s inside my brain.

Into her Mind by KurimuzonHanayome

Ranging from sad to happy,

From experience to observations,

I write these poems to express the unspoken thoughts in my mind fully

And not only that but with a care and devotion.

They may only be words,

But lying beneath them are hidden secrets waiting to be revealed,

Secrets of one's mind,

A place where she runs to and hides.
