Natalie told me about the whole morning and it took her until around 4 hours to completely calm down. For everyone's sake, I better not see her mum any time soon.

While Nat may not be angry at mum, I certainly am. This would not be happening if Mum hadn't agreed to whatever deal that women put forward.

I refused to speak to her for the rest of the day.

"Please hun, talk to me, "I remained staring at the television, I was not going to break that easily.

Aimie's POV:

"Please Naomi, " I pleaded. I knew I'd messed up. Badly. But I didn't think this would have had this much of an impact on Naomi! All I was trying to do, was help Nat get along with her mum but that is almost the one hundred percent opposite to what I actually did.

Accepting my defeat, I went upstairs to find Natalie.

"Hey Nat, please can we talk?" I asked knocking on her door and pushing it open. "Nat, I'm so so sorry, please, talk to me, please!" I broke down into her arms.

"Woah, Aims, what's happened?" She pushed my hair off my face and sat me down.

"I'm sorry please forgive me,"

"I was never angry at you, what's turned all this on?"

"Naomi's refusing to speak to me," I blurted out.

"Oh Aimie," She pulled me into a hug. "She's strong-willed and unfortunatly for you, that's a family trait, all of my siblings are."

"I am such a bad mother, " I said looking down as she released me from the embrace.

"Hey, I never want to hear those words come out of your mouth ever again!"

"Why not?"

"Because it's not true! I've seen the way you've raised her... We were, I think, in the car, recently and I didn't feel like I was talking to a 14-year-old girl, she's so mature and kind and empathic and that's all got to come from someone, and I'll give you a hint, It's not from anyone in her biological family,"

"She is mature, except when she's paired with you..." I laughed as I wiped away some of the tears.

"Do you want me to go and talk to her?"
"If you wouldn't mind,"
"Hey, of course I would Aims, Naomi's my sister and you're my best friend, " My heart-warmed at the last couple of words.
