I am sitting with daadi and having lunch in the general ward. I cooked khichdi myself in the morning and brought it here. I am telling daadi about college and the group I have there and she is listening to me happily.

"Mai bahot khush hu ke tu FITE me padh rahi hai bachhi. Ab tu bahot confident aur strong bann gayi hai" she says with her eyes full of love. I smile in return. FITE has really help me become a better person. Especially Randhir.

"Randhir kahi dikh nahi raha" she asks me with a glint in her eyes. Oh daadi!

"Vo actually children's ward me hai daadi. Ek friend banaya hai vo waha" I smile thinking about him and Minnie.

When we entered the hospital this morning Minnie was playing in the small garden in front of the hospital. She came running towards us immediately after she saw us.

"Landhil!!" She came and wrapped her arms around his legs.

"Hey princess" he had said and picked her up in his arms. "Sayuta di" she looked at me and smiled.

Why does she call me didi when Randhir is just Randhir.. actually landhil. She is soo cute with those chubby cheeks and big eyes. Randhir had asked me to go ahead while he was going with Minnie to her ward to spend some time with her. Well it has been a long time. Should I call him? Did he eat something? Ugh!

After lunch Dr Nayar comes to examine daadi and tells us that she will be discharged in the evening. I am soo happy!!! I decide to call Randhir and tell him. He doesn't pick up. Where is he? I just hate it when he doesn't answer my calls. I am beginning to feel restless now. Thodi der uska chehra nahi dekha toh restless? Wah Sanyukta.. what's wrong with me.

Maybe he is still in the children's ward with Minnie. Daadi decides to take a nap so I go to the children's ward. I drop a message to all my friends that Daadi will be discharged in the evening. I scan the ward but he's nowhere to be found. I ask a nurse there about Minnie and she tells me she is in the operation theatre. Oh no!

I run towards the operation theatre praying for her. Oh god! Please let her be ok.. oh god. Just when I reach there the doctor comes out. Both Randhir and Minnie's mom get up and go to him.

"Operating successful tha. Koi tension ki baat nahi hai. But please make sure ke vo ek mahina khelna kudna band kare. Stitches pe zor nahi padna chahiye ok. Ek hafta aur admit rahegi vo. Thodi der me isse dusre ward me shift karenge tab mai aata hu fir se." The doctor says. I sigh in relief.. thank God. Thank you very much Bhagwan ji..

Randhir hasn't spotted me in the corner yet. He repeatedly thanks the doctor while Minnie's mom is sobbing uncontrollably. When the doctor leaves she stands before Randhir and joins her hands and cries more loudly. "Shukriya.. aap nahi hote toh.. bahot bahot shukriya" she weeps. What's happening here?

"Aap kya kar rahi ho please.. usme koi badi baat nahi hai.. aap jaa ke Minnie ke saath baithiye" he tells her and I can sense that he is feeling uncomfortable. When she goes inside he drops himself on the bench and covers his face with both his hands.

I stand there stunned rooted to the ground. He helped Minnie also. Why are you such a great guy Randhir. Why is it impossible to not like you.. to not love you.

I go and take a seat beside him and place a arm on his shoulder. He lifts his face and when he looks at me he hugs me hard. Oh Randhir.

"Minnie thik hai.. Minnie thik hai.. sab thik hai" I rub his back. He hugs me harder. We stay like that for like an eternity. Finally he breaks the hug.

"Um sorry I just.." he says awkwardly. I give him an assuring smile.
