Love

You.

The words last for merely 10 seconds and then the whole park is lighted up again. My eyes fill with tears and I look at Randhir who is looking at me hopefully. The tears start to fall and so does Randhir's face. He thinks you don't love him back. Just say it Sanyukta! You've always wanted to say it to him right?

"I love you too" I say and he looks at me like he can't quite believe that those words came out of my mouth.

"Say it again" he pleads.

"I love you Randhir" I whisper. His face slowly lights up and a small smile starts etching on his face.

"Again" he says.

"I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you.. you idiot.. ofcourse I love you" I say between my tears.

Then finally his face splits in two with a big wide grin and he jumps forward to hug me tightly. He hugs me hard and pulls away quickly and grabs my face with both his hands. He kisses my forehead and both my cheeks. He kisses my nose and I chuckle. Then his gaze drops to my lips and I gulp when his eyes darken. He leans forward to kiss me and I can feel his hot breath on my face.

My eyes close on their own accord and suddenly the cabin jolts. I pull back and the giant wheel starts to move bringing us down and back to reality. I blush hard and Randhir sits back on his seat with a satisfied and smug smile on his face.

Lord did we just almost kiss? Has all of my self control vanished already. Well I really can't help it.. he has gorgeous lips. Oh stop it Sanyukta. I am acting like a bloody hormonal teenager.

Randhir gets down and gives me a hand. I take it and thank him. "Toh isliye tumhe giant wheel me baad me jaana tha?" I ask and he simply shrugs.

We start walking towards the exit and I hug Pikachu, holding him close and Randhir looks at me with amusement and mutters "Pikachu is luckier than me". I look away trying to suppress my smile.

"Tumhare toh paseene chhut gaye the giant wheel me jaane se pehle" I tease him and he rolls his eyes.

"Kuch bhi. I was really confident ke you wouldn't reject me. I am just so irresistible, you know" he winks at me and this time I roll my eyes.

"And here comes the arrogance" I say.

"You love my arrogance" he smirks.

"If you keep irritating me, I will take my words back" I say as we walk towards our jeep. It's so quite here. Just trees everywhere and above us the stars twinkling brightly. It's a beautiful night.

"Oh now the words are out baby. Now you can't escape from them" he says and places his hands on the jeep caging me in between. "Can't escape from me" he whispers.

Oh sweet heavens.

Blushing, I look down. He tips my chin up and I look into his eyes which are full with love. Love for me.

"This feels like a dream come true. You are my dream come true." He says truthfully, mirroring my thoughts.

"I love you" he says.

I still hearing those 3 words. It sounds really clichéd but my heart actually did a flip. No. It did summersaults!! Actually hearing him say those words in his husky deep voice is just so different. Just so amazing. I feel giddy with happiness.

This perfect boy loves me. He could get any girl he wanted but he wants me. I cup his cheek and reply "I love you too Randhir. This feels so surreal. I've wanted to hear those words for so long. More importantly, I've wanted to say it for so long. You are the best thing that has happened in my life. Who would have thought? That my roommate will become my soulmate." I say and his eyes glaze and he closes them briefly.

He leans forward so that our foreheads are touching. "You are just so beautiful, both on the inside and outside. I've never met a girl like you. And now you are mine.. all mine. I love you" he says

I hug him and we stay like that for sometime just breathing each other in. God I love him so much. What have I done to deserve a guy like him. We head back to our college and the ride is in a comfortable silence. We park the jeep and go upstairs to our room.

As we are opening the door.. I can hear some shuffling and people speaking inside. I look at Randhir and he bites his lip and scratches his head peeking at me. Okaayyyy...

We slowly open the door and six faces fix their eyes on us. Vidushi, Parth, Tanya, Vishaad, Kaustuki and Jiggy are all present and when they see our entwined fingers they jump up with joy and come rushing towards us.

"Bhai tu toh gaya kaam se"

"I always knew it ke tum dono me kuch toh scene hai... I mean come on, you guys share a room"

"Bann gaya kutta dekho bandh gaya patta.."

"Where did you get that lovely dress.. and oh.. is that Pikachu?"

"Party Bhai.. party toh banti hai.."

"Bhabhiiii!!!!!"

These weirdos.. oh my god! I've got the craziest friend circle.

They all congratulate us for 5 minutes and tease us for the next 25 minutes. Asking about the date. And about how all of it happened to which I am mostly blushing. Vidushi goes as far as to asking whether we kissed which earns her a light punch from Randhir and my glare. But then again I just blush some more. Finally after ensuring them that we will give them a treat, they sober up and leave. God it was a long day.

"I'm sorry mujhe unki thodi help chahiye thi ye sab kuch plan karne me. But just Vids and Parth. Baaki ka sab credit meri big mouthed behen ko do" Randhir says and shakes his head.

"That sly little witch. Usko toh batati hu mai." I say.

"Waise bhi I couldn't wait to show you off as my girl.. so achha hua Vidushi ne kaam aasaan kar diya" he says. This guy just wants me to melt into a mush on his feet.

Why Randhir? Such cute stuff to say always!

"And damn! You look so cute when your cheeks turn pink from blushing." he says touching my left cheek with his knuckles. When he says such stuff my mind just goes completely blank. And I call myself wise? I am a complete idiot. Idiot when it comes to this handsome guy standing in front of me. So I do the thing I best know when my mind goes blank. That's right, I poke my tongue at him. His eyes darken and move down to my lips.

"If you do that again.. I am going to make sure your tongue goes numb by the way I'll kiss you.." he says each word in a low husky voice and I gasp. My thoughts run haywire and I think my jaw in touching the floor and Randhir can clearly hear my heart beating fast. Or should I say heart thumping fast.

He chuckles looking at my shocked expression and I shove him lightly and rush inside the washroom. I heave a long breath. His words make it difficult for me to breathe. Is this how love is? Because it is just magical.. I look at myself in the mirror and smile.

The face splitting grin is not leaving my face. I have colour in my cheeks and my eyes look bigger than usual. It's the Randhir Singh Shekhawat effect!!

After changing and washing my face, I come out and yawn loudly. Randhir gives me a smile and I smile back at him. He tucks me in bed pulling the blanket till my chin.

"Thanks. Aaj ke liye. Aur har din ke liye. I'll never forget this day. It was without doubt the best day of my life" I say.

"This is just the starting and this is nothing. You deserve so much more and I'll always make each day amazing for you. You have made me the happiest guy on earth today.. I love you so much" he says and kisses my forehead.

"I love you too Randhir. Good night" I say as my eyes start drooping.

"Good night angel eyes" is the last thing I hear before I go to dreamland.

So the roommates have finally turned into soulmates. I don't know what to say. Too many emotions flooding inside me. The story will end in about more 15-20 chapters or even less. Let's not talk about the ending cuz this is just the starting. Tab tak ke liye ta-ta bye bye.. I love you guys!! Happy reading..
