C H A P T ER
TWENTY:

Clearing his dry throat, Jungkook steps forward, looking towards Lucas. He also stands up, moving to stand behind Jungkook. Jin and Wendy are looking at each other, trying to decide what to do or say. Jimin is really confused. Whereas Namjoon and Yoongi are standing next to Taehyung with a cool look in their eyes. Jungkook mentally sighs, before he smiles and says, "hey guys this is Lucas, he's the party planner. He's asked me for help and you guys can help too... if you want," he finishes off, introducing Lucas to the gang.

Jin sheepishly walks further in, along with the others. Wendy follows, smiling at Lucas, she grabs Hoseok, "Hi Lucas, I'm Wendy and this is my future baby daddy, Hoseok." Hoseok groans, "Wendy, I thought we talked about this, you can't say that." Wendy shrugs, flicking her hair back, "what?" She whines before saying, "I'm only stating facts. Would you rather me lie?"

Hoseok nods, "okay so if that's facts, tell me what would a lie be?" Wendy sits on the floor, dragging Hoseok down with her, "well, it would be...we get into a messy breakup two months later after I catch you cheating and then somehow a few weeks after that I run you over with a car - actually it would be Jungkook running you over," Jungkook chuckles and pipes in, "true that. Hoseok, be aware of the roads bitch."

Hoseok looks at Jungkook with wide and fearful eyes before looking at Wendy again, " so what would you prefer to hear all the time?"

Hoseok quietens down, and Wendy just smiles in satisfaction, "see Jungkook, I'll always win the small debates with Hoseok. I was about to call them arguments but they're not really arguments, are they?" She says, Jungkook smiles at her before turning around to Lucas.

He smiles sheepishly, "so I'm just going to take my leave now," and he turns to walk to the door, but Jungkook quickly grabs his hand, stopping him in his tracks, "no, you shouldn't. I said I was going to help, and now that we have a full party, we can all help!" Lucas looks at Jungkook for a second, grateful for the fact that he's made a new friend, "yeah, I'd love it if you can all help, considering the fact that I only have like three days to get the party ready."

Hoseok seal claps, "we should make posters! I love making posters," Wendy smiles and nuzzles into his neck. Jin sits down next to them and looks up to Namjoon who's deciding on where to sit. Jungkook looks at Taehyung, who's standing awkwardly at the doorway, fidgeting on his feet. Taehyung's blue eyes meet Jungkook's apprehensive ones, Jungkook smiles, expecting one back, but Taehyung's eyes shift and he moves to sit beside Hoseok. Jungkook's smile falls to the ground, his shoulders slumping. Taehyung was angry at Jungkook wasn't he? Jungkook didn't even need to question it, he just knew.

Right at that moment, Jimin and Yoongi sit next to the blue eyed boy, Jimin nudges Taehyung, "why the long face?" Yoongi smiles a bit before saying, "yeah! Are you a horse? If so, neigh bitch." Taehyung looks at his friends weirdly, shrugging off their weird before mumbling a quick, "I'm just tired, leave it off."

But Jimin thinks otherwise, he leans on Taehyung, "well, your bed is right there. Why don't you get some shut eye, while we all help the lovely Lucas plan the party," Jimin whispers to Taehyung, loud enough for the blue eyed boy to hear, a long with Yoongi. Taehyung's narrow, watching as Jungkook and Lucas interacting like they were life long friends. But that wasn't right. Because Taehyung was more or less someone Jungkook knew for his whole life ..and he definitely didn't interact with Taehyung like that...ever.

Scowling, Taehyung says, "no..it's my room too, so if you guys want to be all artsy and shit then I'm going to keep on eye on things." And by things, Taehyung meant Jungkook and Lucas. Yoongi smirked at Jimin, he knew his best friend too well. "Are you jealous right now?" He asks bluntly, shocking Taehyung. Taehyung almost jumps up, "what? No! Why would I be? Are you dumb- shut up!" He hushes, shushing the two even though they weren't saying anything. Yoongi laughs, and decides the to leave the rest for Jimin to deal with.

Jimin rests his head on Taehyung's shoulder sighing, "it's taken you ten years to realise how you feel about him and yet you're still so stupid on how to act on it," Jimin plays with Taehyung's fingers, before slapping his thigh, "are you an idiot? Why are you acting this way?" He harshly whispers, making Taehyung crash out of his trance, he was too busy staring at his Kookie laughing at some (probably stupid - in Taehyung's words) thing Lucas whispered to him.

"I'm not dumb, it's just that...Jungkook said he wanted to talk about us first, so I'm waiting for him to initiate it first," he mumbles, trying to move away from Jimin. Jimin scoffs, then kisses his teeth, "so yes, that just confirms that you are as stupid as I believe you are... You idiot! It's been like what, two days since you've kissed, do you really expect him to talk to you first. You should be the one talking to him because you hurt him first! Ah I just want to shove my tiny fist up your ass, you're so dumb!"

Taehyung winces, "sheesh! Alright I get your point!" He whines, his crossed legs bopping up and down to signal Jimin to move away. After Jimin sits in his own personal bubble, Taehyung groans, rubbing his temples, "but did you see how close they were? Once tiny push by a speck of dust and they would have been kissing!"

Rolling his eyes, Jimin says, "yes, but you don't know the reason as to why they were in that position, so isn't that more the reason to talk to Jungkook. Don't be a pussy Taehyung, you know better."

Taehyung sighs, staring at his phone, his eyes scanning the comments Lucas posted on Jungkook's instagram. He looks at the comments with distaste, almost feeling like he wanted to throw his heavy phone square onto Lucas' head. Internally groaning, Taehyung looks towards the rest of his friends, who were happily creating posters and planning for the celebration party that the class would have in a couple of days.

Jimin glances at Taehyung who is fiddling with his fingers, he nudges Taehyung a bit, "hey, why are you so quiet?" Taehyung grumbles, shrugging, "there's nothing to say, so why would I speak."

Jungkook hears this, and almost rolls his eyes. The whole night so far Taehyung was being a little party pooper. He didn't help with the posters, and he was so aggressive with Lucas that the tall boy stayed as far away from Taehyung as possible. So Jungkook decided to sit next to Lucas, and help him decide the theme, instead of talking to Taehyung. Jungkook had decided that if Taehyung wasn't going to be mature, neither was he.

Jungkook catches Taehyung's eye, and doesn't miss the sad glint in his eyes before he quickly covers it up with an emotionless sheen. The cherry haired boy quickly looks away, leaning on Lucas, trying to see what the boy was writing in his book. "Do you think everyone would love the party?"

Jung shrugs, taking the book away from Lucas' large hand, into his own. He reads the check list, "I'm sure everyone will have fun, and not because it's a party, but because there's going to be loads of memories to take away from this day."

Lucas chuckles, patting Jungkook's head, "were you always this spiritual? Or are you just toying with me?" Jungkook gives him a mischievous smile, his bunny teeth appearing, "I mean, when you ask that, I don't know what to do. To be truthful or toy with you." Lucas snorts, trying to hide his laugh.

"We only ticked off one of the boxes and that's the posters. Maybe we put the invitation on the posters so that when people see them, they know where and when to go."

Everyone agrees with Jungkook and he shoots them a quick smile.

Taehyung meets Jungkook's eyes, a heavy feeling in his heart.

And then Taehyung realized that if he wanted to be mature, then he shouldn't talk to Jungkook first. He should figure out his feelings, and then get Jungkook to feel the same way.

Why?

I want this book to have around 30 chapters so we're nearly at the end, I've also got a heavy feeling in my heart just like tae..don't want to give this book up
I've started back on my exercise routine again but I feel so bad because I just snacked a lot lmao it's okay, treat myself once in a while
