Riele's POV

"All of your friends have been here for too long
They must be waiting for you to move on
Girl, I'm not with it I'm way too far gone

Wish you'd let me stay, I'm ready now!!" Ella singed very loudly to Friends by Chase Atlantic while jumping up and down her bed

"ELLLLAA!" I groan trying to get her attention for the fifth time

"Dear lord, what is Riele!?!" Ella snapped turning off the music

"We weren't finish talking."

"Ughhh." She groaned getting off her bed "We've been talking about this for 15 minutes!"

"So......"

"And it's obvious Jace kissed you and you kissed him back. You both like each other and we're done here." Ella smiled sitting down on her wheelchair at her desk

"Ughh and I really don't want to like him. I mean me and him are two basically totally different people." I wined flopping on her bed

She just sigh and rolled her eyes "How come every time you and Jace kiss or something happens I'm the first person you come complaining to?"

"Should I recall that on the first day I met you and before you even knew Jace you already wanted me and him to be together." I said

"Fair point." She laughs

"And also his ex is here, so I don't think he's gonna wanna come here." I stated also "Also where is Isabela, I mean every time I come in here she never around."

"Probably somewhere letting guys get in her pants. I mean ever since she cheated on Jace she's been gone like my love life."

I chuckled at what Ella just said

"Do you have any plans tonight?" I asked her while bringing a pillow to my chest

"Nope." She says opening her MacBook

"Good because I have absolutely nothing to do and I don't wanna go to my dorm cause of Jace and even if I do go back I'm gonna be alone cause he's going to Olivia's party in like 15 minutes." I sigh and buried my face in the pillow

Ella face shot up from her MacBook screen "Holy shìt I totally forgot her party!" Ella yelled before running to her closet

"Ugh your going?" I lifted my head up

"Yeah didn't she invited you?"

"Yeah but I said no, remember what happened the last time we went to a party. We couldn't even remember what happened." I stated

"Then don't drink anything." She said grabbing two sparkly dress. Expect one was spaghetti strap and the other one was long sleeves

"Are you trying to make us look like disco balls?" I chuckle

"I think this one will look good on you." She smiled giving me the spaghetti strap one

"Uh no thanks." I threw it back on the bed "That literally looks like it only covers 1% of your chest."

"So?" Ella asked like it was no big deal

"I'm not going to a party looking like a open sex bar." I stated

"Fine wear the long sleeves and I'll wear the spaghetti strap." She gives me the long sleeves one

"Maybe you'll actually get someone tonight." I joked

"Oh my god just shut up and put on the dress!" Ella groaned

"Fine." I put my hands in defense

10 minutes we finally finished getting ready with the dress, hair, makeup, and shoes which was black strappy heels

"Ok we gotta get going were gonna be late." Ella said grabbing her phone and clutch purse

When entered the fancy hotel lobby that Olivia dad rented for the night I was shocked. It was such a big fancy lobby with a bunch of servants serving out drinks and mini foods, a big dance area also there's a DJ

"Wow this is a cool party!" Ella gasps

Then Olivia the birthday girl came walking towards us

"Omg Riele what are you doing here I though you said you couldn't come!" She squealed

"Well Ella changed my plans."

"Well you two look great." She smiled at me and Ella

"You look better and happy birthday." I smiled at her

"Thanks!" She smiled before walking off

"Ok that girl is to happy." Ella scoffs

"I don't see a problem with her." I said

"Trust me if you hear the way that girl talks about her life everyday 'oh did you know my dad gonna get me a new car for my birthday' it's so annoying." She mocked Olivia rolling her eyes

Then my phone buzzed in my hands

I unlocked my phone and it was basically just new followers on Instagram and stuff

I turned off my phone and looked up to see Ella smirking

"What?"

"Um I gotta go somewhere now." She stated

"Wait you can't leave me alone." I turning around to stop her

"Your not alone." She smiled before walking off

What is she talking about

"Hey." I heard someone say behind me

Ugh great the person who I was kinda trying to avoid

I slowly turn around facing that person "Hi Jace."

"I didn't see you day in our dorm today?" He questioned reaching over to give me a hug

I hugged him back "Oh yeah I was at Ella's.... Um...... She had major girl problems." I lied to him letting go of the hug

"Oh."

"Yeah." I said softly looking at the ground

Then there was a awkward silence until he spoke again

"You look beautiful in that dress." He smirked

I felt my face warm up "Thanks you look great to." I smiled

Then there was nothing but silence until the DJ played some kind of slow song that made everyone grabbed someone and started slowly dancing

"Um I guess since a slow song is playing do you wa-" He was interrupted by another male voice talking to me

"Hey Riele." Michael said walking up to me

Oh boy

"Hey Michael." I smiled facing him

"Didn't you said you weren't gonna com-" Jace stopped him

"Well she's here now and I was trying to talk to-" I interrupted him

"Yeah Ella made me change my mind." I said

Then there was an awkward silence for about 5 seconds until Michael spoke again

"Um since a slow song is playing you wanna da-" Jace interrupted him

"Um I was just about to ask her that." Jace snapped

"Well I'm pretty sure she'll say no so you can move on ahead." Michael snapped too

Oh god

"Well I mean I didn't ans-" Jace interrupted me

"Look who's talking dickhead. I'm pretty she wants dance with someone who doesn't look like a-."

"Wel-" I interrupted Jace again

"Says the person who can't keep a girl without them fucking someone else." Michael scoffs

Jace started talking again, "Ok Riele who do you slow dance with me-" Michael stopped him

"Or me the person who's not a dick head and doesn't get rejected by girls." He gave Jace a cold death stare

Before I could even think the slow dance song changed to Broccoli by D.R.A.M and everyone broke out of there slow dancing position and started dancing

"Well I guess we can't slow dance to this song." I laughed a little

Luckily Ella came dancing to us "Soo how's it Rie-"

I stopped her "Hey Ella remember how you wanted to talk to me in the bathroom about something."

"No I didn't." She looked at me confused

"Remember...... about the issue." I said making Jace and Michael look at me confused

"Uh-"

"Don't worry we can solve it, let's go." I smiled at the boys before rushing to the bathroom with Ella

When we finally got there Ella looked at me confused "Ok what's going on?"

"Nothing I just really wanted to leave Jace and Michael." I sigh

"What's the matter?"

"They were literally both going down each other's throat about who's gonna slow dance with me."

"No far I want to guys to fight over me!" She pouted

"Ella!"

"Sorry. Anyways who did you pick?"

"I didn't pick, the song changed because they literally fought through the whole song." I said

"Who were you gonna pick if the song didn't change?" She asked me

"Probably myself. I mean I like them both it was just so awkward me being in between that fight." I groan closing my eyes

"I still don't get it how no ones fighting over me, I mean I look hella sexy in this dress." Ella asked talking to herself

"Ella!"

"Sorry, just forget about it and let's have fun at this party."

"Your right." I sigh and walked outside the bathroom

"Just hang with me for the rest of the party."

"I'm going to because you made me come to this."

When we got back the song Controlla by Drake was playing

Me, Ella and a group of other people started dancing to the song until the song was almost about to be done when Ella said something

"I'm gonna go ask the DJ to change the song!" She said but I barely heard her correctly cause the music was so loud

"Huh!?" I yelled

She didn't say anything just went to the DJ, I just shrug and turned around to see Jace and Michael standing perfectly straight smiling (that lowkey sounds creepy doesn't it💀)

"Oh my lord you both scared the shit out of me." I softly laugh catching my breath again

"So did you think about who you wanna slow dance with if there ever a slow dance nex-" Jace was interrupted by another slow song starting

Just great

"Well there's another slow song playing." Michael smirked

"Now at least you can make your choice now." Ella smiled

"You asked to play another slow song!?"

"Yeah."

I looked at Ella and mouthed "I'm going to murder you."

"So-" I stop Micheal

"I can't right now cause Ella has to change her.. pad." I randomly blurted out

Jace and Michael looked at me in shocked while Ella looked confused

"What?" Ella snapped

"So why do you have to go with her?" Michael asked

"Because- just cause." I stated

"Why?" Jace asked confused

Gosh they ask so much fucking question

"C-Cause it's girl stuff?" I said confused myself before running to the bathroom with Ella

Again

"I'm not even wearing a pad right now what are you talking about!?!?" Ella said pissed

"I just wanted to get away from them, because of you wanting to play another slow dance song." I sigh

"Why couldn't you say you needed to change your pad?"

"Why would I do that." I scoff

"So are we just gonna stay inside the bathroom until the party's over?" She asked

"Basically, since you keep wanting to start stuff between them!"

"Riele we're going back to that party and I promise I won't do anything where you have to be in a position with Jace and Michael." She said to me dragging me out the bathroom back to the party

And we did exactly what she said it was hard but we had fun through the whole party without Jace and Michael bothering me
