Jace's POV

"Sean do you need any help with the drinks." I asked

"Yeah, that'll be nice." He says

"Ugh, I didn't want you to actually say yes." I muttered

"Then why did you ask?" Riele said looking at me

"To seem nice."

"You should help you were the person that made me buy all these drinks." Sean pointed out

"I suggest the drinks you brought the amount."

"Oh myyy godd, Jace just get your ass up and help!" Sabrina yelled at him sounding annoyed

"Ugh." I scoffs

Riele kisses my forehead and gets off my lap "You should go before she's actually gets mad and starts yelling in Spanish."

I get up and go to Sean grabbing a water bottle case "Now was that so hard." He says to me grabbing one also walking out the room

I walked out the room after him

"You know I think I may ask Jordan to help sit things up over there." He says pushing the elevator button

"You invited Jordan to your party?"

"Yeah." He says as the elevator doors open and we enter

"Why the fuck would you do that?" I asked triggered

"Well why not."

"He's so clingy around Riele. I mean even though Riele told me Jordan doesn't like her that way I can tell she's not telling the truth." I said then the doors opened and we exited

"Well what do you want me to do, uninvite him the day of the party which is in like 2 hours?" He asked

"Hell yea."

Riele's POV

"You know I'm actually excited for this party, I use need something to take my off all this testing." I said sitting back down on the chair

"To be honest. I'm just happy we only have 2 more weeks until summer." Sabrina agrees

"Do you have your bikini ready." I asked

"Yep." She said placing it down

"Isn't that Ella's?" I asked

"Yep, but she at away for the weekend so why not borrow it." She shrugs

My phone ding but my phone was closer Sabrina

"Can you past me my phone please." I said reaching out my hand

She gets my phone and scans the screen before giving to me smirking

I take the phone and looked at the screen and it was a text from Jordan just asking if I'm still going to Sean party

"Why are you smirking at Jordan name?"

She still smirking "Because..."

"Because?" I rise an eyebrow at her

"I know that he likes you." She blurted out

I face palm "Did Jordan tell you that?" I sigh

"Nope I just guessed and you just told me." She smirks then grabs her bathing suit and going to the bathroom to change

"That was cruel!" I yelled at her

"I mean come on what else would spend 5 minutes talking about to you that he couldn't do around us!" She yells from the bathroom

I rolled my eyes "Can you just please not tell Jace."

She comes out of the bathroom "What did you even say to Jordan after he said he liked you."

"I was just honest and told him that I don't like him in that way and I only wanna be friends." I admitted

She's nods slipping a t shirt and shorts for her cover up "Well your being honest."

"But I mean come on did he expect me to break up with Jace just to be with him." I scoff

"Do you think he's gonna do anything at the party today?"

"No I know Jordan isn't that type of person." I said unlocking me phone to reply to Jordan with a yes

"So where's your bikini?" She asked looking at her phone screen

I shot my head up "Oh shit I forgot to pick on out." I jolted from my seat to look for one

"Don't pick anything that'll make you look better then me." She looks at me with warning face

"Now I'm definitely gonna do that." I grin looking for one

"Ew what the fuck." Sabrina gags looking at her phone

"What?" I asked looking past her shoulder

"Ok so my friend Hailey got her eyebrows and they were looking good so I ask her where'd she get them done and she told me and gave me there insta and I went on there and look at this-" She said scrolling to a picture of a girl

"What's wrong with it. Her eyebrows look good." I said confused

"Yeah but look at her face like mhm she ain't pretty, like they could have fixed her face a little and stuff." She suggested

"Sabrina you know you gonna go to hell right."

"Sadly I know that's true." She nods

I went back to looking for a bikini "How does this one look?"

"Ooo wear that one it'll make your skin look good." She states

"I'm literally going to flip if no one talks to me at the party." Sabrina stated

"Ehh pretty sure they'll be one or two guys who are desperate." I joked looking for a cover up

"You know your not a very nice person." She looks up from her phone

"I'm just kidding." I laughed

Me and Sabrina arrived at Sean party which was at a hotel pool that was his for the day since his uncle runs the hotel

"Wow you guys are early." Sean said walking up to us

"Riele suggested that we come early to help, but I don't want to." Sabrina says not caring

"Well thanks for being honest." Sean nods

"Can't you pretended that you wanted to help." I asked her

"No."

I rolled my eyes at her "Where's Jace?" I asked

"He's by getting drinks ready and stuff." He points to him "Oh also the room 16 on the first floor is the room we're you can put your stuff in."

"We should go put our stuff away before we go to Jace." I suggested and Sabrina nodded then we said bye to Sean and we walked off to the hotel

We reached the room and put our stuff away "Well we put our stuff away now we can go to Jace." I said walking to the door

She says behind "I don't wanna go to Jace."

I turn back to her "Why?"

"Because then you two are gonna be flirty and I'm gonna be the third wheel like always." She cross her arms over her chest then wines

"Well that's true, we don't need a 5 year old complaining near us."

She scoffs and leaves the room "You know this is the first time you have a boyfriend while I'm single."

I catch up to her "And this is the first time your not trying to take my boyfriend."

"Your welcome." She smiles at me and opens the door as we leave the hotel

"Oh lookkk, there's Jace." She says without a care in the world

I playfully rolled my eyes at her and ran up to him wrapping my arms around his waist jumping on him

He turn around startled "What the fuck Riele." He said breathless

"Oh look there's my dear friend vodka." Sabrina smiles and grabs a bottle near the fruits and kisses the bottle

I ignore her and grabbed Jace face and kissed his soft lips passionately

We let go and he rest his forehead on mines and he smirks "Goodness I didn't know you missed me that much." He softly chuckles

I smiled at him "Well I mean it has been an hour." I joked

"I did try calling you like 5 times to see if you were gonna come earlier." He says

"Oh I didn't see-" I said reaching in my back pocket for me phone but it wasn't there

"Sabrina did I leave my phone inside of your bag?" I asked her

She shrugs and gets a watermelon to eat

"I'm gonna go get my phone real quick." I told pecking his lips before turning around and running back inside the hotel

I walked back to the room number 16 and went inside and went through my bag and couldn't find my phone then I looked for Sabrina bag which was on the floor next to mines and I saw my phone was in one of her side pockets

I got it out and opened it to see the 5 miss calls from Jace. Then I heard the door open and close "Riele." The voice sounded exactly like Jace

"Oh yeah Jace I see your 5 miss calls, but dang 5 were you dying or som-" I said chuckling and turning around to be startled by Jordan and not Jace

"Oh Jordan I thought you were Jace for a sec." I said putting my phone in my back pocket

"Oh sorry were you expecting him?" He asked dropping a bag that had only his towel down

"No I was just about to leave." I said walking towards the door but he came in front of me stopping me

"Wait can we talk first." He says blocking the door

"I really have to go back. Jace is probably wondering what's taking me so long." I said trying to get past but he still blocking the door way

"Riele come on I just wanna talk about us right now." He says

"What about us?"

"Well the fact that we basically aren't friends anymore." He blurted at me

I didn't say anything and just looked down

"I thought you said we can still be friends even after I admitted my feelings for you." He said

"I know." I cross my arms over my chest "Well it's not easy to look at your best friend the same way after he says he likes you in more friend way but you only like him in a friend way."

He sighs and looks at the floor then at me "If you weren't dating Jace would you still think the same."

"Yes, I only see you as a best friend." I said truthfully

He gave me a face that makes it seem like he doesn't believe me "Can things just stop being awkward between us?" He asked

I shrug not looking at him

"Well maybe something can." He says walking closer to me

Jace's POV

"What's taking Riele so long to get her phone." I asked Sabrina

She shrug pouring herself a shot of vodka "I saw Jordan entering, smh she's probably talking to him." She mutters

"What did you just say." I asked her

"Nothing." She quickly respond

"Sabrina what's going on?"

She huffs "Well I'm gonna need this for what I'm about to talk about." She takes the shot "Dang that's some strong vodka."

"Sabrina talk." I told her

"Ok ok gosh." She says turning her attention to me "Ok so remember that weekend we spent at riele's place and you two were talking until Jordan came and said he had to talk to Riele in private and when they were done talking and Riele told you and me that Jordan was just talking to her about him having feelings for someone."

"Yeah?"

She gives me a stare "Oh Dios mío." She huffed "Jace the person is Riele."

I scoff, "I knew she was lying."

"Well she didn't want you to freak out and possibly kill him." She says pouring herself another shot

"Well that possibility might turn real." I snapped turning around getting ready to walk in the hotel

"Wait before you leave can you tell Riele I tried to stop you cause maybe that'll her hate me less cause I told you that." Sabrina says to be before I left

I entered the hotel and look for the room 16 and before I entered the room I heard Jordan say "Can things just stop being awkward between us?"

I creak the door a little and saw Riele shrug not looking at him

"Well maybe something can." Jordan says walking close to Riele

I hoping Riele would back away but she doesn't and Jordan took the opportunity to grabs Riele waist and kiss her

My blood started to boil and I bit my tongue so I wouldn't punch into any walls

I expecting Riele to pull away right away but she didn't

I swing the door open making Riele break the kiss shoving Jordan off of her. She saw me and she froze there "Jace..."

"Riele I honestly can't believe you." I said with my heart completely broken

"Jace I can explain-"

"Explain this then Riele!"

"He kissed me I didn't even kiss him back." Riele said her voice breaking

Jordan softly scoffs smirking right next to her

My anger made me grab Jordan by the collar of his shirt and slam him against the wall "You are a piece of shit." I growled at him punching him in the face

"Jace please don't." Riele begged scared

I ignored her because my attention was still on Jordan "You obviously saw that Riele was my girl so why the fuck would you be all up on her like that!" I screamed in his face

"Well your girl lips were just all up on mines." He snapped back at me with a smirk almost out of breath

I was already heated with anger at that point "You are fuckin messed up." I said then punch him right in the jaw

He fell to the floor and I hissed and looked my knuckles which had a little blood on them

Riele gasped shocked not moving at all

I turn around and walked past Riele walking out of the room

"Jace can you please stop so I can explain to you!" Riele yelled out after me

"Explain to me what!?" I turn around to her "That you lied to me when I asked you what you and Jordan were talking about and then you go behind my back to talk to him and let him kiss you." I said and I felt eye getting watery

A tear slipped down her face "Jace.."

"And the worst part is that I thought you were different from Isabela and Roxy because I thought that you loved me just much as I loved and cared about you but just like them you probably just wanted the sex then leave me for someone else. Like damn Riele I'm actually heart broken." I said turning around and walking away

I continued walking away but Riele kept calling my name

"JACE STOP PLEASE!" She begged

"Why?" I turn around but I felt something hard hit me right in the head that made me collapse to the floor

"Jace!" I heard Riele scream before everything went black

Riele's POV

"I can't believe Jace thinks I only wanted him for sex, I mean if I only wanted him for that I would have done it with him when we first started dating. Oh my god Sabrina what if Jace doesn't turn out ok." I wined pacing around the hospital room

"Relax Riele the doctor said Jace is going to be fine." Sabrina said

"But what if Jace doesn't wake up." I said worried

"Just keep talking and I'm pretty sure he'll wake up." She groan rubbing her temples

I gave her a death stare "You know this is half of your fault also."

She looks up at me confused "How?"

"You really shouldn't have told Jace that Jordan admitted his feelings for me."

"Riele it's not like you were ever going to tell Jace, I mean if he hadn't went to go check on you, you probably wouldn't have told him that Jordan kissed you or you kissed him." She states

"He kissed me." I corrected him

"Whatever. I probably just saved you one less thing to explain to him when he wakes up."

I looked over a Jace pale body laying on the hospital bed and I flopped down on a chair face palming myself

The doctor came in the room "Here's the prescription for the painkiller you can pick up at the pharmacy." He ripped of the piece of paper

Sabrina gets up and snatches the paper out of the doctors hand "I'll go get it, I think I might needs some also after riele's talking."

I stare at her before she left the room along with the doctor

"Uhh." I heard Jace groan trying to sit up which made my head turn to him

I walked over to him "Oh Jace thank god your awake." I exhale with a sightly chuckle "How are you feeling?"

"I'm in pain. What happened?" He asked with a raspy voice

"Um you kinda hit your head. You see when you were walking outta the hotel I called you then you turned around right behind a someone's door then they opened it hitting you in the back of the head. Like really hard, there's a dent on that door." I explain

"Oh." He says feeling the bandage that was wrapped around his head

I grabbed both of his hands and looked at him "Look this is kinda of my fault that you hit you head on the door and I'm sorry, I'm really sorry about everything. But Jace what you said earlier is not true because I do love you, and I'm going to be with you through your pain right now and I promise after your in less pain we can talk about what just happened."

He looked at me confused "Can I ask you a question first."

"Sure. Anything." I told him

He removed his hands from mines uncomfortably

"Who are you?"
