Sabrina's POV

"Do you know if Riele is actually gonna want to see us." Ella asked me as we were walking to her front door

"No clue, but we're about to find out." I said knocking on the door

"I still can't believe you still don't get lost in this place." Ella said before Riele's mom came and opened the door

A smile appeared on her face "Sabrina I'm glad you still came! And it's Ella right?" She questioned Ella

"Yes ma'am." Ella smiled at her

"Come in." She greeted us in her house closing the door behind us

"Thanks for letting me know you were coming. Riele is still a mess over this breakup. I mean I don't know who this Jace guy is but I can tell that Riele truly does love this guy and she knows she messed up." She told us

"Don't worry cause she has two amazing best friends to come make her feel better." I said smiling

She smiled back "Oh I almost forgot." She went inside the kitchen and came back with a tray of smoothies and with fruits. "These are some of riele's favorite so I made them so you guys can enjoy while talking to her."

"Aw that's really nice of you." Ella says sweetly taking the tray out of her hand

"Have fun talking to her." She tells both of us before leaving the room

"I didn't know riele's favorite were fruit." I said to Ella

"She's can be a healthy freak." She chuckles

We started upstairs to the second floor which riele's room. We made it to the second floor and Ella was already out of breath

"Hold this." She says giving me the tray and bending down putting her hands on her knees

"I thought the second time would be easier but I'm wrong." She says finally catching her breath

"Let's go." I said walking to riele's room

We got riele's room and I knocked on her door

We heard a groan "Mom I don't want to talk right now."

"No it's Sabrina and Ella."

Footsteps came towards the door and Riele opened the door in a hoodie and sweats "Why are you here?"

"Well gosh, you and your mother have different ways of welcoming people." I said entering her room with Ella

"You didn't not call me or text me saying you were coming." She crossed her arms over her chest

"I called your mother and ahead of time and she said it was ok to come visit you." I told her

"We just wanted to surprise you." Ella smiled at her

"And you mother made this for us." I said placing it on riele's bed

"Ok I know you guys didn't come here to surprise me or drink smoothies together either." Riele sits back on her bed grabbing a blueberry

"We can't just be good friends and come support our best friend after a breakup." Ella exhales sharply with a chuckle, I nodded agreeing with her

She just rose an eyebrow at us munching on her blueberries

"Ok you need to go out with us tonight." I blurted out

She immediately rolled her eyes and groan "Why are you trying to make me go out."

"Because we're on summer break right now and you haven't done nothing. I mean come Riele go back out and find yourself someone new guy." I said sitting down on her

"No I want Jace!" She wined laying down and brought a pillow to her face

"I told you this was going to be hard." Ella whispered to me

"Trust me Riele you need to come to this party, it could change your future."

She removed the pillow from her face and gave me a confused face "First of all what the fuck type of party is this and second of all no... Jace was suppose to be my future."

Ella sighed and sat down next to me "Then no boys and we can just make it a singles lady night."

I cleared my throat "Uh can it be just a "lady night"cause I mean one of us is taken." I said talking about me

"Oh yeah you and Liam." Ella said "So come on Riele you deserve to have a little fun this summer."

She took a minute to think about "Uh fine, after I finish my smoothie I'll look for something to wear." She rolled her eyes

"Yay! This is going to be fun." Ella jumped off the bed

"What are you guys going to wear?" She asked taking a sip from her smoothie

"We left our dresses in the car just in case you would say yes." I told her

"Let's go get them." Ella suggested

"Yeah, Riele well be right back." We said leaving Riele room going down the stairs

"Do you think it was easy for Sean to get him out of the house." Ella asked as we were walking

"I believe so." I told her

"I believe this is actually the first time that both of us are done and Riele still isn't."

"Same, but we all look amazing right now."

Riele finally came out of the bathroom done and ready

(didn't realize that Ella and Riele are wearing the same shoes till after I made them lol)

"Girl you look good!"

"Right, Jace is going to love that." Ella blurted out without thinking

Riele gave Ella a confused face "What do you mean?"

Oh Dios mío

"That's if Jace is going to the same party but I mean that's like a negative 0.1 percent that he might. But he won't. And won't you be posting pictures I'm pretty sure he'll see you there, on the phone, not at the party." Ella tried covering herself up

I sigh shaking my head with a disappointment "Let's just go."

Riele's POV

"We're already like 30 minutes late to the party." I said checking the time on my phone

"I told Sabrina that road was not going to be a short cut but she never listens!" Ella emphasized her sentence

"Ella do no start with me when I'm behind the wheel." Sabrina snaps keeping her eyes on the road

I unlocked my phone and went on snapchat and just watched some people stories. Some of them were already at the party and others were living there life

I was just going through them watching them then I was going to click on Jace's since his was already there but my phone got snatched out of my hand

I jolted my head up and turned around at Ella who had snatched my phone "Why did you get my phone?"

"Uhh, you didn't need to see Jace's story."

"Why not?" I asked confused

"Cause.... what if he has a another girl on his story." She said

I rolled my eyes "Then that isn't my problem cause we're not together." I put my hand out for it

She looked at my phone real quick then gave it back to me "Ok here, and Jace story was nothing. But I suggest that you look at it when we're party."

"Why?"

She seats back smiling "No reason."

I ignored her and just went through other people stories watching them

We finally got into the party and the place was already blasting loud with music

"Ok I am ready for a fun girls night with absolutely no Jace." I yelled to them over the music

"Ehh." Their face both cringes looking down

"You should look at Jace's story now." Sabrina suggested

"Why? We all said that this was going to be a Jace free night." I asked

"Well doesn't it bother you not seeing it?" Ella asked

"No...."

"Yeah it does." Sabrina caught my lie

"Pretty sure he's not doing anything in his life right now." I shrugged

"You don't know that."

"Fine I'll check it real quick just so we can actually be done with him."

I got my phone out out and went on snapchat and while that was opening up Liam came to us and wrapped his arms around Sabrina "Hey Sabrina." He gave her a peck on the lips

Sabrina smiled back at him "And hey Riele and Ella."

"Sup, Hey." Me and Ella responded back to him

"We should go to that side of the party." Ella said slightly pushing me towards that way

I ignore her and searched up Jace name on snapchat and Ella stopped pushing me

I clicked on his story and it was a video of Sean saying something random but notice that the background is a party

THE SAME EXACT PARTY IM AT

"You guys knew Jace was at this party, what the-" I turn around and looked up at my phone to find them gone

My blood was basically boiling at how mad I was right now

I turn and the first thing that caught my eyes was Jace sitting by myself at the bar with a drink in his hand

I dial Ella phone number and brought it up to my ear and started walking slowly forward

Ella finally answered on last ring "Yess?"

"How dare you freaken leave me like that." I snapped at her through the phone

"Jace is there."

"I'm not going to talk Jace." I said

"Well then you can makes friends with someone new." She told me

I rolled my eyes "Or you can just tell me where you are."

"Gotta go bye." She quickly hung up the phone on me

I was so busy talking to Ella that I didn't even realize that I was already at the bar table

I sigh and took a seat that was two seats away from Jace

"What can I serve you with today?" A bartender came and asked me

"A water." I replied

"Safe drink." I heard Jace's voice say in the background and that honestly made my heart jump a little

The bartender came with my drink a I thanked him for it "Just not in the mood to drink anything strong right now." I said with a softly smile taking a sip

He swallowed down his whole drink before looking at me "You came by to this party by yourself."

"No I came here with Sabrina and Ella but they ditched me the second we got here." I looked down playing with my fingers

"You look really nice." He said

Even though I was looking down I could feel him smile

I look up and smiled back "Thanks. Uh you came to party alone?"

"No I was with Sean but he scooped up some girls and I just let him do his thing." He shrugs and the bartender came with another drink for him

I pressed my lips together "What's stopping you... I mean you technically are single."

He looks at me for a second then at his drink "I don't know. I guess..... none of the girls are you." He said the last part softly

I bite my bottom lip nervously and got up and sat down to the seat that was right next to Jace

"Maybe this may not be the best time to talk to you at this party but I feel like this might be the last chance I get. Jace I'm honestly sorry that I caused our relationship to end, I'll tell you a million times that the kiss between me and Jordan didn't mean anything. And yes I'm so stupid for probably not telling you that in the beginning that Jordan liked me, but Jace I'm not like your other girlfriends cause I love you and being your roommate this year was honestly one of the best things that happened to me, and our relationship was everything. I'm just sorry..." I poured out my feelings that I have been pushing away since we broke up

I was expecting for something to come out of Jace mouth

But he didn't say anything and just looked down

I softly scoff and rolled my eyes "Nice talk." I said grabbing purse and getting up walking away

"Riele where you going." Sabrina shouted to me from behind

I turned around to face Ella and Sabrina "Home."

"Did things not go good with Jace." Ella asked

"No it didn't. I don't think it ever will." I said holding back from bursting into tears as I turn around again

"Wait, but I'm your ride!" Sabrina shouted out to me

"I'll get a uber." I said before leaving the party

2 days later

"And omg he smells good, he's funny, loyal, and really cute." Ella said explaining to me a guy she meant over the party last week

"So you FaceTime me just to brag that your gonna be taken to." I joked around rolling me eyes

"Your right I'm sorry. How was your weekend?" She asked smiling

"Not gonna lie it was pretty good. Me and my parents went up to visit my sister and her family before my parents went on there business trip for the week." I said

"So what are you gonna do now that you have the house to yourself?" Ella asked

"The same thing I did yesterday. Slugging around in a t-shirt and Nike pros while I eat food and watch tv." I shrug laughing

"Honestly same... and hang out with-" Ella got stopped by someone knocking on my door

"Ugh, why are people coming to my house." I groan

"You and your mother are so different when it comes to welcoming people." Ella chuckled

"I'll call you back I'll just tell whoever at the door to leave." I told ending the FaceTime call and closing my Mac

I walked to the door and opened it and my heart honestly stopped "Jace w-"

He grabbed my face smashing his lips onto mines kissing me passionately. The sparks I get weren't gone and exploding all over me

We let go and I'm confused and shocked right now

"Well... you have a nice way of greeting people." I chuckle out of breath confused

"Riele I came back cause I miss you to much too, and I forgive you. I probably shouldn't have been that hard on you-"

I cut him him by wrapping my arms around his neck "Don't apologize. I'm just happy that you forgave me, and if you willing to be back together I can promise you that I will not keep anything from you like that again."

He grabbed my waist and kissed me again

We let go of the kiss and I rest our foreheads together smiling

"I love you."

"I love you more."
