The One Where Roman Wants to get Married
Roman was reading a wedding magazine in the coffee house.
"And pray, do tell Roman, why are you reading a wedding magazine?" Logan asked, looking up from his book.
"What? I can't look?"
Remy smirked, "well... why?"
"For fun!" Roman defended.
Patton sighed as he gave out the coffee to Emile, Virgil, Remus and Dee, "Roman, you're surrounded by wedding magazines, some of these are for wedding dresses."
"So?" Roman asked.
"Your gay!" Dee yelled.
"So?!" Roman said, throwing the magazine down, full of wedding suits, "I just wan to be married..." he sighed sadly.
A person ran through the doors in a white suit, a ring in their ring finger and was looking around frantically.
The group of males stared.
"And I just want a million dollars!" Remus said, gesturing to the door.
Emile frowned, "Elliott?"
They looked around, "doc!" They rushed over, "hi!"
"Isn't it your wedding day today?" Emile asked confused.
"Well... yes but I ran away..."
Virgil frowned, "Elliott?"
The person turned around, "Virgil? Oh my god hi!" They rushed over and hugged him, "hey! I've not seen you since college!"
"I know! Wait-" Virgil frowned, "you're still with Mitchel!"
"No... No not anymore... I just ran away from my wedding with him..." Elliott sat down.
Patton frowned in confusion, "would you like anything to drink?"
"Black tea would be amazing." Elliott admitted.
Patton nodded and walked off.
Roman raised an eyebrow, "tell us more about this Mitchel guy..."
"To put it simply, apparently in Steven Universe, one of my fusions is a Malachite."
Even though they had all heard this they still gasped in shock, Patton rushed over and set the coffee down.
Elliot looked down, "you were right doc, we are a Malachite, but... I can't go back to him... that wedding... it didn't feel right. I felt trapped with him."
Emile nodded, "what made you realise that?"
"The way the ring looked. It felt more possessive then it did of love..."
Virgil gasped and held his college friends close, "I knew he was bad for you! I knew as soon as I saw you upset!"
Elliott looked down, Virgil had warned them that Mitchel was bad and he wouldn't love Elliott like they hoped. Turned out Virgil was good at love and relationship advice even though he himself, was single.
Emile glanced between the two, "you two seem like good friends."
The non-binary person smiled, his eyes lighting up for the first time in a while, "yeah! Me and Virge were friends in college and he would-"
"Beat anyone up insult him." Virgil said calmly, kicking his legs up on the table in a relaxed state.
"Well... five year olds are scared of you." Roman said, picking up his bridal magazine again.
Virgil was texting Elliott to see how they were doing, to see where they were living and apparently they were living back home with their father.
Roman walked in, wearing a long, princess wedding dress, the skirt was puffed to a ridiculous size and had a long trail and even a veil, "well? What do you think?" He spun around, lifting the strapless dress, showing off his white heeled shoes.
Virgil stared and took a bite out of the cold left over pizza slice, "too much Ro."
"Dang it, doom and gloom!" Roman stormed off, swishing the dress side to side.
Virgil sighed, "shut up Romano!"
"My parents hate me..." Elliott sighed in distress, sipping on some honey tea, sat in between Virgil and Roman, opposite Emile in the coffee house.
"Now why would you say that Elliott?" Emile asked, sipping on his sweet coffee.
"Because I'm not straight, I'm a they and them, I just ran away from my wedding, need I continue?"
Roman held up a magazine, "what do you think of this wedding suit?"
"It's beautiful Roman...." Elliott said sadly, yes he felt bad for running out on Mitchel, but at the same time he felt better.
A person ran in, they had quiet tomboyish clothes and a hat which covered their multicolored hair. However this person was in a tuxedo.
"Uhhhhh...."
Roman glared, "is everyone getting married besides me?!"
"Kai?" Emile asked.
The person looked up, "Picani!" They went over and sat down, picking up Virgil's mug of coffee and took a drink, "I ran away from my girlfriend- ex girlfriend! We was getting married but... I thought screw it! And I ran!" They laughed.
Elliott stared at the person in front of them, "uhhh..."
"Oh sorry! I'll talk to you Friday Emile." They said and walked off.
"One sip of my coffee and nothing more?" Virgil asked in annoyance.
The large group of males were sat watching the TV, eating food and in same cases drinking a beer.
Roman walked through the door in another wedding dress, this one was strapless as well, but with golden swirls up the stomach and chest, with gold in the frills of the skirt, the skirt half was large and puffy and the trail was so long it would have to be held up by five people. The dress was red as well and wore a golden veil, he wore red heels and had done his make up.
"Well? How do I look?" He asked.
Remus went to open his mouth for a snide comment but Virgil covered his mouth, having a soft spot for the theatre, "you look gorgeous Roman."
