"Hey guys, imma head out for today  need to get back home and work on some projects. I'll be back for dinner and I can order Chinese food for you all? If you guys want." Thomas says as the group was about to go grab paint from a nearby sherwin williams store.

"Oh that's me and Vee's favorite! I can text you everyone's order, here!" The female walks up to the ex-Viner, handing him a 50$ bill. "That should cover it, correct?"

"Raven please no keep this you are already being so kind for helping me out with the sides." He argues.

"I don't want to hear it, I insist. I'm not taking it back, really it is perfectly fine. I just want to help out." She says, giving a kind smile.

"Just take the money, trust me you're not gonna win this battle, good sir. Sometimes she will just sneak cash into your wallet and you won't even notice." The brother says to the fellow creator. "I have no idea where it comes from, it's like she can summon it."

"That reminds me, I need to make you all bank accounts!!" She said, quickly running away to grab her notepad to add that to the checklist.

"Bye Thomas!" Patton says in which the rest of the sides and the brother says bye as well.

"Deceit and Virgil get in the car please." Logan looks at the pair that didn't want to go into the van.

"I don't know how they drive." Virgil said defensively.

"You do realise Logan that you just hopped into a seemingly strangers van we know hardly anything about." Roman says hopping into the van in the back after pulling the second rows of seats forward flopping into the very back seat.

"Well you're gonna be sleeping under the same roof tonight, you better hope I don't crash." Vee jokes trying to lighten their spirits.

"Oh yes virgil. I'm positive he knows what he's doing." Dee states, failing his hands around like the dramatic he is.

"Ooh shotgun!" Raven yells at the same time as Patton as she runs to the group after grabbing her bag and notepad.

"Nope sorry pat sister gets shotgun." Vee says knowing the argument that would occur if he didnt, "You can ride shotgun on the way back."

"Sister privileges, sorry hon!" She says as she jumps in the passenger seat closing the door to the vehicle behind her.

"Aww, bumber!" Patton remarks, getting in the van's seat behind the driver. Logan then looks at deceit and virgil.

"Virgil get in the back with Roman, and Deceit sit here next to me and Patton. You can even have the window seat if you so desire." They huff looking at eachother then back to Logan. They comply with the nerd, getting in the car.

"Hey Virgil, did you bring your rewards card?" The sister asks her older brother, buckling herself in.

"Yes, got it right here in my wallet." he said, checking his inside jacket pocket. He opened the wallet. "Damnit Raven how do you even do that?!" He said grabbing the fifty out of the money holder.

"Maaagic." She waves her jazz hands as he rolls her eyes in response. He hits the garage door opener as he hears Thomas pull out of the driveway.

"Seatbelts everyone." Logan says as Vee starts the car.

"What music should I put on?" Raven asks the group as all of the doors close.

"Wait wait hold up there, we need an excuse as to why you all look the same, and I know that you think lying is bad but if you want to not go to jail or a government facility we need a reason you all look the same. Speaking of which tomorrow we are going to a consignment shop and buying you new clothes. You all are extra with your clothing options. You will get looked at weird in the real world." he pulled out of the garage going around their circular driveway and out into the street, "not to offend any of you i just .. ya know dont want to be responsible for breaking you out of a science lab underground in the near future. By the way, Virgil and Patton, your outfits will pass for normal people's clothes. Logan's yours is pretty close but not quite...normal." He said making a turn signal and waiting for the gate to open.

"OH!! I can have ideas for them mapped out as we make our way there!" She exclaims, pulling out her notepad.

"How about we put on some classic Disney?~" Roman says excitedly

"Or jazz.." Deceit says quietly.

"Okay I have a mix for all of you." Vee says pulling up a playlist for the musical 'Hadestown', "It's a good musical and is broadway. Plus it's dark and sad."

"Oh this is one of the musicals I actually enjoy." Logan says as the beginning song starts playing.

"Roman I know you know this one and if you sing all the way through i'm going to hit you with my shoe." Virgil says threatening the prince next to him.

"Oh so, Virgil can threaten to beat people but I can't? Double standards." Deceit says waving his gloved hands around.

"We know Virgil won't act on any of the things he says." Roman was immediately proven wrong by Virgil hitting him in the head with his shoes. "Hey!" He says, grabbing the shoes out of the emo's hand. "No violence!"

"Kiddos! No hitting each other while in vehicles." Patton scolds turning around.

(((( time skip about thirty minutes.)))

The driver paused the music that was playing, and most of the car was either crying too or humming too. "Sorry to pause it on such a great song but we are pretty close to the paintshop and we need to lay down some ground rules." Vee said stopping at a red light in the turning lane. He looked to his sister for help.

"Oh right! Ground rules for the public. Now in big stores try and stay apart from each other, don't look anyone in the eyes, now I am aware how nice all of you are but talking to people before we get you all to look different .. somehow."

"You missed the most important one, no using any of your powers." he hit the gas gliding them through and intersection. "None at all unless we get into trouble and we need a distraction to escape and even then don't draw attention to yourself. Under no circumstances do you get caught. Do all of you understand?" Virgil was being stern and his overprotective self.

"Aww kiddo I didn't know you cared,'' Patton said quickly, trying to shake the uneasy feeling of the car.

"He can be a big old soffie, even if he tries not to be." The sister jokes, pinching on his cheek.

"I just don't want to be the one that has to explain to Thomas that one of you was captured by the government and Thomas needs to hide." He replied back smacking his sister's hand away only to put it sternly back on the wheel.

"Wait, this is a real concern?" Roman said questioningly.

"How many times have you seen other people's sides walking around?" Logan said to the prince.

"None, oh wait ... but if we get caught we might be going to area 51 ." The prince says back excitedly.

"Yeah i'm sure it will be a fun trip to the place they will kill us all." Deceit says sarcastically.

"Yeah but then you will be experimented on. So no lets not do that." The angsty side says to the dumbass sitting next to him.

"One more rule gays.~" Raven says, turning around. "In addition to not talking to people, no singing in public, sorry Roman. And if someone talks to you let us answer just for a while until we are sure that you won't get into trouble. And that goes for all of you," Raven says mostly pointing at Roman and Patton.

"If you need to just start pretending to do ASL or pretend to be mute or something, it's all about self preservation." The driver says as the little app says to turn right onto another main road. They were in town now out of the rich neighborhood area. "Also if anyone asks we are going to a birthday party and we are the entertainment and me and raven are the company managers. We are just stopping to get paint as an errand for the office downtown."

"That's not a bad lie either." The snake hisses from the middle seat. "Good quick thinking."

"Thanks.." He says to the complement. "Also remember what we are here for, just the colors you want to paint your rooms and I'm grabbing some colors for the hallways since I painted my room already. This is a small store so please just find the colors and come up to me and i'll order it for us."

"That reminds me of a time when we went to a convention and these little kids kept walking up to us asking for pictures with us Vee!" The girl states, giggling about the memory.

"That was so annoying and cute even though I hate interacting with tiny children." He says, finding a spot to park in pulling up to the sherwin williams. You feel the car tense up after the serious talk about getting caught.

"Don't be so down guys," the mom friend states, giving a kind smile and looking back at the group. The brother turns the car off taking out the keys. "We can still have fun! I love going to stores like these! And we can do some even more fun things later!~"

The embodiment of anxiety sighs snapping, "I took half of everyones anxiety now please dont do anything stupid." He was worried himself but tried to keep it hidden to get the other sides to calm the hell down.

"Here we go.." Vee says, getting out of the car and unlocking the doors, closing his door in the process.

The female gets out of the car, stretching and pulling out a camera and giving her brother a smirk. "Y'know this would make a good video...~? I mean, our viewers want some updates on us getting a house and roommates." She suggests. "I'll only show us, and blur out their faces too, if you're worried about that."

"It's gonna show their clothes Raven!" The brother yells as he opens the back doors for the sides.

"Pleaseeeee? We don't have any of our recording equipment set up yet, and I swear I'll work super hard to not show them at all! Plus we can just say they are Thomas Sanders fans!" She says, looking at her brother with her puppy dog eyes. "Pweaaaaaaaaaaaaaase?~" The brother looked to Logan for help, he shrugged in response. The brother rolling his eyes.

"Fine but I'm editing it myself Raven." He pointed at her threateningly as Roman and Virgil climbed out of the back. She nods, turning on the camera as the group walk into the small store of small color cards. She starts her usual intro.

((( Virgil Cotheran's pov )))

I walk in pointing the sides to the cheaper paint in which they all walk over looking at the bright and dark colors. I walk up to the counter. No one else was in the store besides the attendants which is what it was usually like in sherwin.

"Hi I'm Virgil Cotheran, I came to pick up whiteboard paint and I will be placing a few more orders today." I say trying to get the woman to look at me and not the sides. She nods walking off to the back to grab the three cans of paint I ordered online. I was going to paint on one of the walls in the office to be a big whiteboard that we could use dry erase markers on it als was magnetic so we could hang magnets on the wall.

I walk back to the color cards with the sides looking for a nice calm orange tan for the hallways upstairs. Almost like sherbert color. Roman hands me a bright red almost the color of his sash.

"For my room," He says looking at the card I was holding. "Do you want me to look for the office too?"

"No, I already bought the colors for the office. Black caribbean blue and black with the whiteboard paint I'm picking up now." I said taking the red and putting it with the orange in my hand.

"Patton your room is already painted but you could help the rest decide." Raven says to the loving fatherly figure.

"Oh right! I'm so forgetful." He smiles and giggles. "I'll help Logan. I'm sure he doesn't have a clue what his favorite color is."

Deceit walks up to me handing a bright yellow and a dark maroon paint card. "Ooh these go well together." I said taking the cards from his gloved hands. He nods.

"It will go well with the wood on the ceiling." He says as I shake my head yes. "Can I go back to the car?" I tilt my head in confusion. "I don't exactly look normal." Dee replied in a hushed tone. I nod digging out the keys from my pocket and unlocking the car.

"Should be unlocked now." I said he nods walking out to the door. It seems like the other sides don't like him. I mean yeah he's part snake but why is that a bad thing? I make a mental note to ask later.

I hear the paint in the back being shaken in one of the machines. I walked up to Virgil that was holding two types of purple. His face was grimaced trying to pick which one.

"The reddish one will look better with the windows but the darker one will be better with black decor." I said trying to help him decide.

"Yeah but which one will not express me?" He says holding them up to his face.

"That's the thought process I went through last week, the darker color will be better for you, I think. But if you want I can make the other purple your accent wall?" He thinks about it for a second then he hands me the dark purple. "And I might have some leftover black from the office we could paint your closet and bathroom door with." I finish, before seeing a camera right up in my face catching me by surprise.

---Third Person---

The younger sister giggles at the surprised males reaction, taking a step away from his face. "Virgie, say hi to everyone!!~"

"aAAhH!? hIi!!" The older brother yells, as the sister starts to laugh harder. "Geez, will you ever stop doing that?"

"Probably never!!~" The sister sings out a small bit.

"We are literally just buying paint, there is nothing exciting about this at all." Vee says shaking his head and walking to Logan and Patton.

"It's still for the new house!" She says excitedly, pointing the camera towards the paint.

"Yeah, well we've been moving in for a while Ravieen." He smugly states as the woman at the front desk returns. "Logan have you decided the color?" Logan hands him a dar caribbean blue.

"This should suffice." Logan states handing the card to the other man.

She pouts at the older brother, before looking at the paint Logan has chosen. "That's a really pretty color Lo!~" Vee walks up to the counter with the cards to place the order grabbing the other paints he'd already bought. "Hey, where's Dee at?" She asks, looking around for the snake male.

"Hi I'd like two of these, and three cans for these. Oh and four cans of these we are painting a big wall." The brother explained handing them his credit card.

"Big house you got there then huh?" the lady asked looking around his shoulder, he swiftly scooted over to block the view of the group.

"Haha, yep can I pick this up tomorrow? I know it's a big order but I wanna paint before we start decorating." She nods at the males question

"Wait, did you get paint rollers and brushes Vee?" The sister asks, pointing the camera at the male. He grabs his card from the lady at the desk while digging out the car keys again.

"We have that at home. I bought some yesterday." He says pitching the keys to his sister. "Pop the trunk." He lifts the paint tubs, putting two of them into the prince's arms and grabbing two himself. "Logan can you grab the last one." he says while walking behind Roman and Patton, his sister following him, Logan nods avoiding eye contact with the lady at the counter as Pat holds the doors open.

"Aye aye captain!" She says, looking towards the exit with the camera, skipping down there humming a song. "C'mon you guys!!~" She yells, running toward the vehicle, unlocking the van and opening the trunk as she makes eye contact with Deceit. She blinks for a few moments, before giving a smile and waving towards him. "Hey Deceit!~"

"Not a hello to you raven." Dee says scooting over towards the window in the second row of seats. Raven pulls the second row of seats on the left side over so the prince and the emo can have their spots back. Roman drops the paint cans into the open trunk stepping out of the way so the others could as well. He walks around the car to get in as Virgil had already climbed in the back. They pulled the seat back, clicking it into place as Vee closed the trunk and pat got in the passenger's seat , Raven slid into the seat next tooDee letting Logan sit down next to her while he closed the door.

Vee gets in the driver's seat turning on the car and the music.

Raven closes the garage door as the paint was set next to the car on the concrete against the wall. She locks up the room as all of the sides were already inside. "Thomas says he's on his way with food!" she yells into the living room. She makes her way into the room, looking around at everyone in the room for a moment before making her way to the kitchen to set up plates once again.

Vee was already making his way up the stairs to avoid other people. Logan, Patton, Roman and Virgil were all sitting on the couch grouped together confused about what they should do next. Deceit was walking to the stairs up to his room, he was cold and also very tired of hanging out with people.

She starts setting the plates, glasses, and silverware. She suddenly gets a text, her phone going off. She checks it before giving a smile and looking at the others.

'Hey Raven! A friend of mine named Joan will be joining us for dinner. I'm sure I talked to you about them before? I hope this is cool with you guys. :)' Thomas's message was delivered at 5:35 pm.

Roman stands up, "I need to make you all bed for just tonight so i'm going to head upstairs-"

"Roman I can't have one in my room yet because it's too dusty from construction." Virgil says shooting him with finger guns from the far side of the couch.

"Oh can you not sleep there?" He asks the emo nodding in reply not looking up from his phone. "You can sleep in my room then." He says walking down the hall to Pattons room Virgil's face heats up and he was about to protest but it seems like he had already left. Logan looks over at him amused but doesn't say anything.

She gives a smirk at her new found ship, before changing the subject. "Hey you guys, one of Thomas' friends is coming over. A person named Joan?" She says, giving a quick message back to Thomas

'OH yeah!! I remember them! Yeah, that's totally fine!! Can't wait to see you guys here! ;3 Raven replied to Thomas at 5:38 pm.

'Nice we are on our way ;-)' Thomas texts back at 5:39 pm

"OH! JOAN IS COMING!?~" Patton squeals, waving his hands round in an excited manner.

"Oh that's gonna be interesting over dinner," Virgil said knocking the dusted rose color off of his grimacing face.

"That will be adequate, it shall be nice to see Joan again." Logan shrugs a book into existence that he had been reading in the car.

"I hope they like me, I look like a mess right now- I should clean up a bit, oh dear-" Raven worries herself running her hands through her hair.

"Raven, Joan is a very nice friend. I'm sure they will like you kiddo." Pat says, still bouncing up and down like a Mexican jumping bean. She nods, feeling slightly better than before.

The female goes to her room quickly, freshening up herself a bit to look more presentable for meeting a new person. She had hoped that this dinner will go well, as she fixes her bow and stretches her arms, walking out of her room to get stopped by someone.

We are having so much fun writing this together we are even voice acting and making a music playlist that would be playing in the background of some of the scenes. After the dinner, there's probably gonna be a week or two-time skip which we will recap before throwing you gays in headfirst. love you all, and please stay safe out there especially with pridefall.
