I run till I'm out of breath and when I stop I realize I'm in the park.

I go over to a nearby bench and sit shivering "Well at least the cold will numb the pain of my wrists" I think aloud.

"Hey you OK?" I hear a voice ask, I look up to see a boy around my age he seems to be taller than me by a couple inches or maybe more.

"Yeah I'm fine" he sits next to me, he has his ears pierced along with snake piercings, his eyes are a bluish greenish color.

He smiles at me "I don't believe you" "Who is this guy?" I think he wears all black, his hair is the only thing that stands out its a dark blue swept to the side.

"Why don't you believe me?" "Well one you're out in the middle of winter no jacket, second you're in the park middle of winter alone" he smiles again at me "So that automatically adds up to me not being ok?" "Yes and no, you see the human brain cannot really understand loneliness therefore your brain will always try to make friends, or be around people," I sit up straighter as I listen to this guy talk "but as we all know the human brain has evolved along with our species creating people who can deal with loneliness, or at least not that much companionship and throve from it, which is why I answered yes and no" "Did you really just answer why I wasn't OK logically?" "Yes, that's mainly why I went to college" I smile at him "OK cool, what about my no jacket?" "That could mean that you left the house or where ever you're coming from in a rush" "What if I just don't own a jacket?" "Considering its the middle of winter you must own one" I shrug and look down at my wrists.

I feel a piece of clothing go around me "Since you apparently don't own a jacket you can borrow mine" I open my mouth to object, but am cut off "no, you will take it" "Thanks....umm?" "Elliot, but my friends just call me Jack" "Middle name?" "Yeah, what about you?" "Tyler, but my friends just calk me Ty"

Me and Elliot talked for a while, turns out he's a really funny guy, but soon I hear something that makes my smile go away "Ty!?" "Oh no" "Is someone calling your name?" "Sadly yes, listen I'm sorry I got to go" I stand up, but Elliot grabs my arm "Wait, can I get your number mainly cause you're someone I'd like to get to know better" he says making me blush "Umm, sure"

We switch number, then he leaves in the opposite direction.

Just as he leaves I hear a voice behind me "Ty there you are me and the guys were worried about you" I turn around and see Jerome standing there. "Sorry" I say looking down "Don't worry about it, are you OK?" I shrug

"Where'd you get the jacket, I brought yours cause you left it at the house" I look down and realize I was still wearing Elliot's jacket.

I smile softly "Oh, from no one really"
