Alex's pov

Since Jun moved in with Minghao and Hoshi, I've bumped into him a few times and I guess I started to feel a little less awkward when I was with him, but since I was still processing the fact that this very handsome guy actually asked me out, I still managed to say something stupid every time.

A few days later,  I was just lying on the couch reading a book when I heard someone knocking on the door, forcing me to get up. To my surprise, I was faced with a very stressed looking Minghao standing in my doorway.

"Minghao?"

"Hey Alex...my friend, lovable person, why are you especially pretty tod-"

"Dokyeom and Seungkwan came over again?"

"Yes!"

"Say no more. Make yourself at home."

"You're an angel."

He quickly came in and sat on the couch, trying to relax. His roommate Hoshi,  happens to have very funny but incredibly annoying friends that tend to drive Minghao to the break of insanity whenever they come over, so he decides to hide in our house until they leave.

"Where's dumb and dumber?"

"Mingyu is out with bitchy Mina and Wonwoo is taking a nap."

Bitchy Mina is Mingyu's girlfriend who is, just as the nickname gives way, a huge bitch. Everyone that knows Mingyu and had the misfortune of meeting her, agrees with it. Lord knows how those two started dating, but whenever she comes over, me and Wonwoo always end up going to the movies and eat out. It basically became a tradition for the two of us.

I handed Minghao a glass of water and sat next to him.

"Thanks for letting me stay here, those three are more hyper than usual."

"How come?" In that moment,  'Catallena' by  Orange Caramel starts playing loudly from upstairs along with shrieks that I'm guessing are supposed to be singing. I looked around confused , while Minghao let out a sigh of desperation and face palmed.

"...are they...?"

"Oh yes!"

"You have suffered too much."

"I'm gonna need therapy 'till I'm thirty."

"Oh definitely. Wait, is Jun with them?"

"No, he went grocery shopping. Which reminds me, how in the world are you two going on a date?!"

"I don't know...I'm just as suprised as you are."

"I'm just shocked that you even talked to him. I could barely believe it when he told me."

"Am I really that hard to deal with?"

"N-"

Minghao was interrupted by the music coming from downstairs , now  playing 'Ice cream cake' by Red Velvet and the shrieks only became even more louder than before.

"Can this get any worse?"

Coincidentally enough, on that very instant , Mingyu comes through the front door.

"Hey Ale- Minghao!"

"I spoke too soon."

Mingyu's pov

While Alex's was in her room getting for her date,  me and Wonwoo, who just woke a few minutes ago mumbling something about 'those annoying idiots', were both sitting on the couch watching a movie. For reasons unknown to me, Wonwoo kept glaring at the door from time to time, but I just assumed he was tired.

The doorbell ringed but none of us made any attempt to get up.

"Go."

"No, you go."

"I went last time."

"No you didn't."

"Jeon Wonwoo, go or you can kiss your dinner goodbye!"

"Fine!"

I smirked to myself, while Wonwoo grumpily got up and made his way to the door to open it. Whoever it was on the other side didn't seemed to please him thought.

"Hello!" said the smiling guy standing in our doorway.

Instead of greeting him back, Wonwoo just kept giving him the death stare, so I decided to step in. 

"Hi! ... I'm sorry but who are you?"

"I'm Jun. I'm here to pick up Alex. You're her roommate, Mingyu right?"

Alex and Minghao probably told him about me and Wonwoo. This guy doesn't seem like a total idiot so I decided to smile and be nice to him.

"Yes, I am! This Wonwoo, her other roommate." I gestured towards Wonwoo, who sadly didn't seem to share the same philosophy of being nice to other people when you first meet them, since he was still standing in the same position as before.

Wonwoo's death stare was starting to make Jun slightly uncomfortable, but luckily for him Alex came out of her room. It was obvious how relieved he felt once he saw her, since he's whole face literally lighted up .

"Hey, ready to go?" 

"Yeah sure. Bye guys." Alex moved past us, waving while  following behind Jun. Before they could enter the elevator, I screamed to her.

"YOU BETTER BE BACK BEFORE MIDNIGHT!"

"OKAY MUM!"

"BEHAVE!"

"MINGYU?!"

Once I heard the elevator going down, I closed the door and made my way back to the couch, but Wonwoo didn't even move a inch. He just kept glaring at the door.

"So, you're just gonna keep staring at door or...?"

"...I don't know what you're talking about..." he mumbled so quietly that I almost missed it. I'm starting to get slightly worried now.

"Dude, you've glaring at that guy ever since he came here! ...wait...are you jealous?"

"...no..."

"OH MY GOD YOU ARE!"

"...no I am not..."

"YES YOU ARE!"

"...no..."

"That means... I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG! YOU DO HAVE FEELINGS FOR ALEX!"

"...n-"

"YOU DO! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!"

"...shut up Mingyu..."

Alex's pov

Me and Jun were walking side by sideback  to the apartment complex after our date, which went suprisingly well. We went out to dinner and just talked about college, China, our crazy friends, just any topic that came up. After that we just decided to take a walk in the park, where he proceed to tease me as much as he could just by being his usual greasy self. But since none us wanted to piss off 'mama Mingy', we decided to head back before midnight.

"So...did you enjoy it?"

"Actually, yes."

"Thank God, I was so nervous!"

"Why would you be nervous?  I've been panicking the entire time, trying not to say something stupid."

"Trust me, nothing that you could possibly say would make me like you less."

"...come again?"  He smiled  and chuckled at my confused face,

"You heard me."

I just stared at him like he grew another head. I knew I was blushing like crazy but I didn't cared at the moment. What did he just said? 

We were standing there facing each other, when my phone suddenly started to ring, making me snap out of my current state.

"Hello?"

"ALEX?!"

"Hoshi?" I could barely hear his voice due to the screams and loud noises coming from his side.

"Where the hell are you? We need your help now!"

"We? What? Is there something wrong?"

"Yes! Mingyu is gonna get killed if you don't hurry the hell up!"

"What?! Mingyu!?" Jun was looking really confused at me now.

"Yes! Minghao is freaking chasing him around the building with nunchucks! Freaking nunchucks! Me and  Wonwoo are trying to stop him but we need help!"

"WHAT?! I'm with Jun , we're heading back right now!"

"Okay hur- wait you're with Jun? Oooh, what are you guys doing? Having fun I hope?"

"HOSHI?!"

"Sorry sorry, just hurry!"

Once I hanged up and explained the situation to Jun, we both ran towards the building. Even before we came in , we could already hear shouts from upstairs. When we actually managed to find the source of all the commotion, I could barely believe my eyes. 

Minghao was swing a pair of nunchucks, cursing loudly in mandarin, while chasing Mingyu, who looked terrified and kept screaming for Minghao to calm down. Behind them, Wonwoo and Hoshi were trying to stop the angry Chinese boy from becoming a murder convict, but Minghao was way too fast for the both of them. I swear, if Mingyu didn't have such long ass legs, he would have been brutally killed by now.

After what it felt like an eternity of running and screaming, Jun actually managed to calm Minghao down. He was now sitting down on the couch of his apartment with a bored look while Hoshi lectured him about how 'it's wrong to try to murder one of our neighbors with nunchucks' and 'the importance of dealing with your anger issues in non violent ways'. 

Meanwhile, Mingyu was completely exhausted and ended up passing out on the ground, forcing me and Wonwoo to drag him to the elevator. But before we went back to our apartment, I asked Wonwoo to wait a bit so I could talk to Jun, who was already waiting for me on the doorway of their house.

"So...that wasn't exactly how I planned to end our date." I could help but giggled at this.

"Yeah, I admit it was a bit out of the ordinary. But it was fun."

"Still, I promise that our future dates won't end up with one of our roomates almost getting killed."

"There will be more dates?"

Jun was smiling at me, his face starting to get  closer and closer. Shit, what do I do?

Sadly, the moment was broken by Wonwoo clearing his throat. He look very impatient while trying to steady the unconscious form of our roommate.

I just awkwardly looked down, trying to avoid Jun's gaze.

"I should go now." But before I could turn away, Jun grabbed my arm and placed a small peck on my lips, caughting me completely out of guard. Once he pulled away, he was already smiling again at my dumbfounded form.

"Okay, now you can go."

"...okay..."

I got in the elevator, and before the doors closed, I saw Jun waving happily at me. I was still in a state of shock, so I was just answered with a small wave. Once the elevator started to go up, I realeased a shaky breath I didn't realized I was holding, and just hugged Mingyu's passed out form  in a attempt to both steady him and to calm myself down. 

What the hell just happened?

Wonwoo's pov 

After everything that happened today, I realized three things:

1) Minghao is fully capable of murder

2) I really do have feelings for Alex

3) And I seriously hate that guy!
