15-Dramatic entrance, Mortal Kombat and the rise of WonHui
Alex's pov
Here are some irrelevant facts:
China is a huge ass country, with an area of 9596961 km² approximately and around 1338612968 habitants. The distance between China and South Korea is about 2,123 km and it takes roughly 2.36 hours by plane to get from one country to another.
How could I possibly know all of this? Easy, I googled it. I can uncover all possible trivial facts if I know how to search for them. However, Google can't solve all my problems. Like 'how to deal with people', 'how to stop myself from getting emotionally attached to fictional characters' and 'what's the best way to tell your current boyfriend that the guy you used to date came back from China'? Neither I nor Google know how to. Trust me, I checked!

No way...
"Jun?"
"For a minute I was actually worried you wouldn't recognize me!" he laughed while pulling into a bone-crushing hug.
I was still pretty dazed as I hugged him back. Whenever he mentioned that he was coming to Korea I always thought it was just to get a reaction out of Minghao. Turns out Jun wasn't just messing around with us, he was actually planning to visit.
When Jun pulled back, he started to rant about China and how much he missed Korea, Minghao, Hoshi and me.
"Can't wait to see Minghao's face when he finds out!"
"Wait, he doesn't know you're here?" I asked.
"Nope. No one knows...well, except you now. I wanted to surprise everybody but then I saw you here and I just decided to make my presence known!"
"You never change, do you?"
"I don't plan on it. Speaking of changes, you're dating Wonwoo now?"
"Yeah, I am." I hesitated. "Is it too awkward for you?"
"Oh no no! I was just surprised! But it also explains why he hated me so much while we were dating."
"Hate you? He didn't hate you-"
"Alex, you're really adorable. But yes he did hate with burning passion! His glares still give me nightmares."
"Oh...I didn't know that."
"Don't worry about that now. By the way, could you do me a favor? Don't tell anyone I'm here. Especially Wonwoo."
And I haven't told anyone. I have kept my mouth shut for the past three days and it has been eating me alive!
Whenever I see Minghao, I almost can't hold back the fact that his crazy best friend is back and ready to annoy the crap out of him.
The worst part in all of this is keeping Wonwoo in the dark. Last time I didn't mention something related to Jun, me and Wonwoo ended up fighting and not speaking for two whole days. Needless to say that I am not very keen on going through that again! But I since I promised Jun that I wouldn't say a thing, I'll just have to put up with all the anxiety.
However, Jun never actually mentioned when was he planning to drop the news and whenever I asked, he would always say it would be 'soon' and that he was just trying to figure out the best way to surprise Minghao and Hoshi.
Although I knew that Wen Junhui's dramatic entrance was coming to my neighbors' door, that wasn't enough to calm my nerves. I felt was still feeling very guilty for hiding all if this from Wonwoo and yet all I could do was hope that 'Junhui the Drama Queen' would hurry up.
Thankfully all my prayers had been heard, and on the fourth day, while me and my roommates were in the kitchen cleaning up after lunch when distant screaming and random banging start to come from upstairs. More specifically, from Minghao's and Hoshi's apartment. Out of instinct, the three of us looked up confused.
"What the hell?" I murmured
"Is this all happening in Hoshi's place?"
"Do you think anyone pissed off Minghao again?" Wonwoo asked.
The shouts and all the ruckus started to gradually fade away until they completely stopped.
"What in the world was that?"
"Mingyu, do you even know the people living in this building? This is not even the worst thing we've heard!" Wonwoo noted.
At that moment, someone knocked on our door and Mingyu went to get it. Whoever it was must have given Mingyu quite a shock.
"Wonwoo, could you come here for a second?" Mingyu called.
Wonwoo looked at me and shrugged, having absolutely no idea what could Mingyu possibly want, but he complied anyway, leaving alone in the kitchen.
"Alex!" both of my roommates called.
When I got to the door, I was met with the sight of wide eyed Mingyu and Wonwoo staring at a very smiley and proud looking Jun. I take it his dramatic entrance went well.
"Hello to you two, always so nice to see you! And good morning to you Alex! Happy that I finally dropped the bomb that is my presence on your neighbors and roommates?" Jun exclaimed, the smirk never leaving his face.
"Took you long enough! I had to pretend that you were still in China for almost four days!"
Wonwoo and Mingyu looked dumbfounded between me and Jun, trying to figure out what exactly were they witnessing. However, Wonwoo wasn't just confused. He clearly wasn't happy about the situation. Here comes the guilt again!
"Oh wow, would you look at the time! I got to go work! Can't make Woozi mad now can I?" I quickly blurted out while I grabbed my coat and bag. "I'm leaving it up to you to kindly explain the whole situation to my very adored roommates and clear any misunderstanding regarding my loyalty to Wonwoo, right Jun?"
"I've got you covered!"
"Great! Well, I'm out, love you all, bye!" I shouted as I rapidly dashed towards the elevator.
I just hope Wonwoo doesn't get mad at me for this.

I tend to tell everything to Mingyu and Wonwoo since they have been my best friends for the past two years. But when it's stuff related to them and I can't exactly tell them, I know I can always count on Joshua and Vernon. Even if sometimes, one of them doesn't take the situation seriously. And by that I mean Vernon.
"Wow, Wonwoo and Jun, your boyfriend and ex-boyfriend, standing in the same room! I wonder how that will end up!"
"Actually, Mingyu is with them too..."
"You left poor Mingyu alone with those two?'Martial arts Jun' and 'very intimidating and quite possibly ready to kill' Wonwoo?"
"Jesus, you make it sound like a Mortal Kombat match!"
"Close enough!"
"Pretty sure that's not helping Vernon!" Joshua interjected. "Don't worry Alex, nothing is going to happen between those two."
Yeah, Joshua is right as always. Nothing is going to happen, I need to stop worrying about it.
But just as I was about to actually relax, I get a text from Mingyu.
From: Memegyu
Jun invited us to hang out with him. We won't be home when you came back, so try not to get in trouble meanwhile.
If I wasn't so focused on the fact that they were all going out, I would have definitely scold Mingyu for making me sound like a walking safety hazard.
"What's up?" Joshua asked after noticing my confusion.
"Wonwoo and Mingyu are going out...with Jun?" I managed to utter, still staring dumbfounded at the message on my phone screen.
"...interesting...What are the chances of them getting into a bar fight?" Vernon remarked.
"I doubt they will."
"You're no fun, Joshua! Wonwoo does look like he can kill you!"
"But he's such a cinnamon roll so he wouldn't!" I interjected.
"What does that make Jun then?"
"That one is a sinnamon roll."

Once I got out of work, I was met with an empty apartment. I couldn't stop thinking about what could those three possibly be up, and as an attempt to distract myself, I ended up watching random movies. But that wasn't enough.
Late at night as I am about to give up and go to bed, Minghao texts me saying that Hoshi, Wonwoo, Jun and S.Coups all got drunk forcing Jeonghan to pick them. Great, drunk Wonwoo and Mingyu are just what I needed to make this day better.
I met up with Minghao in the entrance of the building where we all live in and we sat at the bottom of the stairs waiting for them. Needless to say that Minghao wasn't very happy about how Jun and the others current state.
"I'm going to kill them all. And Jun has the nerve to try and take care of me! He's the one who needs a full-time babysitter!" Minghao complained. "By the way, do you know anyone who could give me a hand with intoxicated Hoshi?"
"I'm way ahead of you!" I had already texted Woozi. I figured he would be a big help.
I lost the track of the time as we stood there waiting for them to come home. Eventually, Woozi joined us and he also didn't look very pleased, but who would be happy when you're waiting for your so-called-boyfriend to come home drunk forcing you to take care of him?
Finally, after a few hours of waiting for a while, Jeonghan's car appeared and the four drunken idiots come out of it. More like clumsily rolled out the car.
Jeonghan looked very pissed and after locking the car, he dragged the drunken mess called Seungcheol by the elbow towards the building. Not sure what happened with those two but perhaps it's better not to question it for now.
Woozi went straight for giggling Hoshi and also started to drag him towards the building while scolding him.
On the other hand, me and Minghao stood in the same position as we observed the remaining three idiots looking around like lost puppies. Wonwoo's whole face lighted up when he finally noticed us.
"Aaalex! Hii! I haaave missed you sooo much!" he exclaimed as he attempted to make his way toward us without falling flat on the floor. Wonwoo was stumbling way too much so I decided to get up and go to him in order to prevent any possible accidents.
"You saw me this morning-"
"Doooesn't maatter, thaat was a very loong time agoo!" he interrupted, holding onto my shoulders for support.
Jun also must have noticed Wonwoo's absence as he started to look even more confusedly around until his eyes finally fell on me and Minghao. Much like Wonwoo, he suddenly started to laugh a lot and clumsily making his way to us.
"Minghaaao!! You cutee liittle person! Aleex!!" he said as he got closer to me and Wonwoo. "Listen! I aam so happyy for you aand Wonwoo! He's soo cool! And handsome! I toootaally get it why you're dating hiim!"
"Thank you? I think?" I chuckled.
"You knoow, aat fiirst I reallyy didn't understaand why you used to daate thiis guy" Wonwoo gestured to Jun who was now next to him. "Buut noow, I doo! He's so cool too! If I was a girl or gay, he wooould tootally be my first chooice!"
"Whaat?! But thooought I was your first choicee Wonwoo!" Mingyu whined stumbling toward us.
"And then you people wonder why you get shipped..." I mumbled.
"Sure you can handle those two on your own?" Minghao asked.
"I'll be fine, thanks."
"Call me if you need me."
Minghao grabbed Jun's arm, dragging him towards the building, loudly scolding him in Mandarin. The older boy didn't seem very bothered by it as he giggled and excitedly waved at us.
"Alex, I'm hungry." Mingyu whined.
"What's stopping me from leaving you two in the middle of the street?" I observed.
"You love us dearly and we pay rent too?"Wonwoo said.
"Can't argue with that. Let's go children." I noted and grabbed both of their hands dragging my drunk roommates to our apartment.
Once we reached the elevator, Mingyu had already fallen asleep against the wall and Wonwoo was just looking at the ceiling.
"Hey, Alex?" Wonwo called.
"Yes?"
"I have I ever tell you how much I love you?"
"Save that for when you're sober." I grinned and once the elevator door opened, I start to drag them again to our place.
They annoy me behind believe sometimes, but it's impossible for me to hate them.
