13-Mingyu needs to chill and the puns to forgive

Alex's pov

I admit I am not an easy person to deal with. Never have been. Mostly 'cause I tend to lose my temper really fast. However, I don't like conflicts and I try to avoid them as much as possible. Well, I didn't manage to avoid this one.

It's been two days since me and Wonwoo had a fight and we've been basically ignoring each other's existence. Since we don't talk, it's up to Mingyu to start every conversation, and he does not like that. In fact, I think this whole situation is driving him completely insane.

Of course, I don't like this situation, but my stupid pride forbids me to say anything, even though I know I am to blame for most of it.

It's yet another day of silent treatment. Wonwoo came out of his room, not even sparing a glance at me, saying a quick good morning to Mingyu and then closing the bathroom door behind him.

I tried to convince myself that I wasn't feeling slightly hurt by that and continued to watch tv and drinking coffee. Mingyu however, who was visibly pissed about our attitude, glared at the bathroom door and then turned to me.

"How long is this going to take?!" he hissed.

"What?"

"This! You two ignoring each other like the plague! It's very fucking annoying!"

"Language!"

"You know you're the worst person to lecture me about how I speak!"

"I'm your noona though."

"Don't pull the noona card on me now! You missed your change two years ago!"

"Dammit." I mumbled.

"Don't change the subject! You two need to make up! And fast! This is not just bad for you, you know?! I'm the one who has to put up with all of this! And I'm supposedly the youngest one! "

"Mingyu calm-"

"DON'T YOU DARE TO TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!"

"...you really need to chill..."

"I AM VERY CHILLED RIGHT NOW!"

"Okaaaay, sure! Whatever you say. I'm gonna go to my room!"

"OH NO, YOU'RE NOT!"

I tried to run as fast as I could to the safety of my room, but unfortunately, Mingyu is much faster than I am, and he managed to catch me before I could reach it. Ignoring my protests and screaming, he grabbed my waist and lifted me up, so my feet wouldn't touch the ground. It's times like this where I hate being shorter than him, even more than I usually do.

He dragged me towards the bathroom, opening the door, pushing me inside and locking the door, scaring the living lights out of Wonwoo in the process. Thankfully, he was just washing his hands, otherwise, it would be pretty awkward.

I tried to open the door but it was no use.

"MINGYU OPEN THE DOOR!" I demanded, hitting the door repeatedly while Wonwoo just stared confusedly at me.

"YOU TWO AIN'T GOING TO GET OUT OF THERE UNTIL YOU TALK TO EACH OTHER!"

"MINGYU COME ON!"

"NO!"

"MINGYU I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

"IF YOU WANNA GET OUT OF THERE, YOU MIGHT AS WELL GET TALKING!"

"SON OF A BITCH!"

"LANGUAGE!"

This is just great!

After the first half hour of being stuck in the bathroom, I finally gave up on screaming all possible threats to Mingyu, since he would just raise the volume of the tv.

I knew I wasn't going to get out of there that easily so I decided to sit on the floor with my back against the bathtub. Twenty minutes later, Wonwoo sat down next me without uttering a single word.

And this is how we spent the next two hours. Sitting next to each other, just glaring at the wall in complete silence.

But something was bothering me. I mean, other than the fact that Wonwoo was still pissed off at me, there was something else that I was dying to ask, no matter how stupid it might sound.

"You weren't pooping before I got stuck here, right?" I blurted out. Told you it was going to sound stupid, but can you blame me?

"Seriously? We haven't talked in two days and that's really the first thing you say to me?"

"It was bothering me okay?! I'll just go back to ignoring you then."

"No Alex. Come on!" He grabbed my arm and started to gently push it.

"Can you just stop ignoring me?" He groaned.

Still, I wasn't going to stop.

"Please?" Wonwoo begged. "This is exhausting!"

I remained silent, making him sigh.

"Fine! Since you're not talking, we're going to be here for a while! Might as well pass find a way to pass the time! I'm just going to tell you all the puns I know then! Let's see for how long you can put up with it!"

Oh no.

"Why don't some couples go to the gym? Because some relationships don't work out."

"I wasn't originally going to get a brain transplant, but then I changed my mind."

"Did you hear about the guy whose whole left side was cut off? He's all right now."

"I'd tell you a chemistry joke but I know I wouldn't get a reaction."

"I wondered why the baseball was getting bigger. Then it hit me."

"Why don't programmers like nature? It has too many bugs."

"Did you hear about the guy who got hit in the head with a can of soda? He was lucky it was a soft drink."

"Have you ever tried to eat a clock? It's very time-consuming."

I don't think I can take this for much longer.

"I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. It's impossible to put down-"

"Wonwoo please..." I interrupted.

"Are you sure?'Cause I could go on-"

"I am begging you to stop! Have mercy!"

"Since you asked so nicely, I'll stop...for now."

"Oh thank God!"

He chuckled at my reaction but then he quickly turned serious.

"I'm so sorry. About this whole thing. You were right, I was being unreasonable. I had a pretty shitty day and when I heard what Jun said...I guess I let out my frustration on you."

"It was mainly my fault, I mean I was the one who didn't tell him I was in a relationship. But it's not because I don't take it seriously or don't think it's important. Trust me, this so important to me, I don't think I have ever been this happy in my life! I just really had no idea how to tell him."

"I understand that. I just...well, you cared a lot about Jun and I guess I was slightly scared that if he ever came back, you would just run off to him or something."

"That's not really something that you should be worrying about. Honestly, I can't even think of Jun as an ex-boyfriend! I mean, of course, I care about him but not in that way. He's my friend. My friend who really likes to annoy me and Minghao, even when he's in another country!"

"Do you think he knows we're dating now?"

"He definitely does! He even sent me a bunch of texts asking if he had ruined our relationship."

"Seriously?"

"Yup!...Correct me if I'm wrong, but were you perhaps...jealous?"

"I was just, you know...making a few observations."

"Don't quote me!" I chuckled.

He pulled me closer and kissed me.

"Admit it, you missed me." Wonwoo teased.

"Not really!"

"I know you did!"

"I didn't."

"You love me so much. It's cute."

"That's debatable."

"Whatever you say. Let's get out of here."

We both got up and started banging on the door to get Mingyu's attention.

"WE'RE GOOD MINGYU! CAN YOU OPEN THE DOOR NOW?"

"PROMISE ME THAT I WON'T GET KILLED THE SECOND I OPEN THIS DOOR!" He yelled back.

"FINE!"

Mingyu opened the door with a victorious smirk.

"Awwn, my favorite couple is back!"

"I promised I wouldn't kill you, never said anything about punching you!" I threatened.

"WONWOO HELP ME!"

"You're on your own!"
