Shutting my eyes, I take deep breaths as I wrangle my palms together and let go, wrangling them again. I suddenly feel my chest tighten as breathing becomes hard and I start gasping for air. Seconds later I feel something over my ears and open my eyes meeting the eyes of Helix. He takes my hands in his and uses his fingers to write the letters Y-I-R-U-M-A-R-I-V-E-R-F-L-O-W-S-I-N-Y-O-U on my palms. The ticklish feeling of his hands against my palm distracting me as I try to pay attention to the letters while the sound of the piano drifts into my ears and the depths of my bones.

Once done writing the letter, he places something in my hands. I look down and notice it's a pill.

"It will help you calm you down," he says.

I quickly throw it into my mouth and gulp it down without water. Taking deep breaths, I grab unto the hand rest and shut my eyes.

By the time I open my eyes again to the sound of the pilot announcing our arrival, the plane was not moving, and Helix was seating beside me quietly scrolling through his phone with his right hand.

I had slept off without realizing it. However why did my palms feel moist? Looking down I realize my hands were holding onto his palms not the armrest. Worse, it seems my nails had been digging into his palms. I notice red stains on his hands and lean down to confirm what it was. However, he quickly withdraws his hands. I withdraw my arms and take a deep breath when I realize something weird, my nails had what looked like blood stain on the bed. I glance back at Helix and then my nails as realization slowly sets in.

"You're bleeding, oh my goodness," I exclaim gaining the attention of the plane.

"What?!" Lisa says jumping up and banging her head against the top of her seat. "Ouch," She exclaims.

"He won't be the only one bleeding if you don't calm the F***ck down," Pete exclaims as Naz who was seated behind us looms over the chair and asks, "Who?" Staring from Helix to me.

"Helix," I say pointing at Helix who was now unbuckling his seat belt.

"Helix?" Naz says turning to Helix awaiting a response as his eyes search for the blood filled with worry.

"How are you feeling?" Helix asks at the same time as Naz asks,"What happened?"

"How am I feeling? How are you feeling, you're bleeding. Helix I'm so sorry!" I state feeling horrible.

"Can someone explain what is going on here," Naz says getting agitated.

"My nails dug into his palms so much that it bled," I say.

"Are you oaky?" Naz asks.

"I am, stop being a piss," Helix exclaims as he gets off the seat and starts walking away.

Unbuckling I attempt to follow him but pause remembering his peeved off attitude as he walked away. He was probably super mad at me right now and seeing me would not help.

"I've got it, don't worry," Naz says as if reading my thoughts.

"Thank you," I reply to which he grins and jogs away toward Helix who had just exited the jet.

"Let's go," Leo says walking over to me and smiling reassuringly.

I quickly turn to Lisa. "Are you okay?"

"Not dead yet," She replies. I sigh feeling like I had ruined the trip. I really shouldn't have come.

An hour later and a gauze wrapped around his palms. I wasn't so sure anymore. Helix was playing tennis with Naz as if nothing was wrong with his hands.

How was he doing that? Did he like pain or something? I wonder staring at his back as he moved and played effortlessly showing no sign of pain.

"Hestia are you ready?" Lisa asks to which I look up at the faces of Naz, Lisa and Helix all looking at me.

They had just finished warming up after which we were to play doubles. Apparently, they normally played doubles of Lisa and Naz in one team and Helix and Mimi in another. Since, Mimi couldn't make it I became the substitute. I thought we had a party to attend why were we suddenly playing Tennis?

"Aren't we going to the party?" I ask for the nth time trying to avoid this.

"Mimi needed time setting up some final deets and Helix wanted to play,"

"And you all just agreed?"

"Do you have a better idea to spend the time?" She had asked and I had shut up because I didn't.

How am I to be ready for what I had no idea how to play? "Sure," I shout back getting up. It couldn't be that hard right? It was just hitting balls with a racket. How hard could that be?

My hands tighten around the racket as I walk towards the court. I notice Lisa standing in front and Naz behind her to her left. I look to the other side and notice Helix standing behind. I quickly walk to his front and stand.

"I'm starting," Naz announces. My hands tighten around the racket as I bend my knees.

The ball moves with furious speed towards me. Raising my hands, I quickly duck afraid of being hit.

"Dude!" Heilx exclaims with his hands outstretched in exasperation.

"Sorry," I exclaim truly sorry, I just didn't want to get a concussion from a tennis ball!

He retrieves the ball and hits it back to the other side. Lisa swiftly hits it back to us and I'm unprepared, missing it once more.

Lisa and Naz rejoice fist bumping as they burst out laughing.

"Do you even know how to play?" Helix asks looking flabbergasted

"Oh, now you ask?" I want to reply but my eyes catch the gauze around his palms and I change my mind.

"No," I reply instead.

"Why didn't you say so?" Helix replies looking floored.

"You never asked!" I reply equaly frustrated.

"What's up?" Naz calls out from the other side.

"Let's take five," Helix says and walks over to me. He moves my hands. "First you're holding the racket wrong, secondly," he says turning me around "You're standing wrong." He says and moves my feet.

I suddenly feel a chest against my back and freeze for a second. I feel his hands wrap around mine. "What are you doing?" I ask in shock automatically trying to push him off.

"Teaching you to play, pay attention," he says holding on tightly my attempt at pushing him off failing miserably. He swivels my hands slowly to the left and right.The drum like feel of the fast beats of my heart envelope me as I find it hard to calm down.

"I know I'm handsome, but I'd rather you focus," he says next to my ears. The warmth sending a shiver down my spine.

"How? I exclaim and turn to look at him noticing his grin.

"I mean how do I play," I quickly add to which he chuckles. The ground might as well swallow me now.

"Sure," He replies.

"For real," I say adamantly.

"I believe you," He says and stifling laughter.

"Helix," I say lightly hitting his arm.

"Hey, my hand is wounded are you trying to make me loose my arm too?"

"I'm sorry I forgot," I say filled with worry at my recklessness. He grins making me realize how that could be misconstrued, this narcissistic fool!

"Not because of you," I say adamantly.

"Thou doth protest too much," He responds not accepting my claim.

"Helix you... argh!" I exclaim exasperated. I raise my hands tempted to smack him again to which he laughs and runs to the other side. "Just saying," He says and shrugs as he chuckles. I run after him and he runs to the other side avoiding me. I pause staring at him as my mind plots how to get him to which he winks. I move forward to hit him but he somehow avoids me and catches me in a back hug instead.

"Easy now Eve, you don't want me getting my arms hurt do you?" He asks his voice deep but breathless.

"You could play tennis without issues, you'll be okay," I reply to which he chuckles behind me as his arms around me tighten drawing me in closer.

"Are you ready?"

"For what?"

"To learn tennis silly,"He says and laughs the deep sound of his laughter causing me to lose focus once more.

"I'm not silly,"

"No, you're adorable," he says earning a smile form me.

"Do you two still realize we are here?" The sound of Naz' astonished voice comes through causing us to pause in realization.

Haha, who else forgot?

This should have been updated last night, but I thought November had 31 days which it obviously doesn't lol. Sorry for the late update. Happy thanksgiving to those who celebrate. What did you do? I attended the Macy's day parade which was absolutely amazing. I had to wake up at 4 am, but it was totally worth it. In the night I attended a Friendsgiving dinner with some ladies. How about you? Happy holidays!
