"I want you to make a group of 5 or 6 for this project. Once you've joined a group you can meet here or feel free to leave the class and meet elsewhere, as long as you meet and discuss what you plan to do for this project, so choose a topic, a hypothesis and have a predicted result. I need these by the end of the week," My General Ecology Professor Dr Greives says.

I glance around wondering what team to join. I disliked team projects. You were either lucky or unlucky with groups.

"Hey Hestia, do you want to join us?" I hear a familiar voice call out. Turning I see Sophie seated at a comer by the window. Sophie was my roommate from freshman year. I hadn't realized she was also in this class, Smiling, I quickly pack my stuff and head over to her table, thankful to see someone familiar.

"Hi," I say to the table filled with four other people including Sophie. "This is Hestia, she was my roommate in Freshman year," Sophie explains.

"Hi!" I greet the other three students smiling.

"Hi! I'm Evan," A cute boy with round glasses and short black hair says.

"Hi," I reply.

"Emma," A pretty girl with freckles and long wavy blonde hair says.

"Nice to meet you," I say smiling.

"Kravitz," The last guy a brunette says.

"His name is Lenny, but we call him Kravitz," Sophie explains.

"Ah," I say nodding in understanding. Lenny Kravitz, the singer. I wondered what he'd think about a brunette being named after him.

"So where do you guys want to go?" Sophie says looking around. I stay silent, I didn't really have an opinion as I was okay anywhere.

"I'm hungry, do you guys wanna go to blaze?" Evan asks. Blaze was a Pizza place right across the street from campus and a hot spot for students. I had never been, but I'd heard of it.

"Sounds good," Kravitz says

"Yah I'm cool with that," Emma says.

"Hestia?" Sophie asks looking at me. "Sure," I say to which Sophie nods. " I'm good too!" She says.

"Can I join your group?" A girl says walking up behind us.

"Sure..."I start, however Sophie grabs onto my hand her nails digging in as she says, "We're full,"

I glance at her confused. We still needed one person. The girl gives us a nasty look before walking away.

"Hey, we still need one person," I whisper to Sophie who either didn't see the look from the girl or chose to ignore it.

"Texting them," she says in response. "Let's go," she says getting up and grabbing her bag. We all grab our bags and head out. On our way Sophie tells me about this new guy she was into. Once we step into Blaze I notice her look around. 

"There he is!" She exclaims and pulls me over to a table, the rest of the groups follows behind. Once we get closer I notice a guy seated with his back to us and a cap over his head. He had a hand rested on the back of a chair by his side as he leaned against the chair glancing at his phone.

Once we get close, she wraps her arms around his neck placing her head next to him.

"Hey you!" Sophie says. I look on wondering if this was her boyfriend. Turning around I freeze realizing the face was that of Helix with a smile on his face. He notices me and the smile turns into a grin.

"Sophie," he says removing her hands from his shoulders while still smiling.

Was she one of his "girlfriends"? I wonder.

"This is Hestia," Sophie says pulling up a seat beside him and pointing at me.

"Hestia, Helix, Helix Maddox," she says with emphasis on the last name as the rest of the group sits down. Only the seat directly opposite Helix was left.

Hold on why did you introduce her as Hestia and him as Helix insert last name? by the way I'm Evan" Evan says.

"Because he's a Jean, do I need to spell it out for you?" Sophie announces placing a hand on Helix' shoulder. He smiles and looks at me.

"Wow Sophie, I never knew you were someone who judged friends by their bank accounts," Emma says making me wonder if they knew each other outside of the class.

"Well now you know. Helix, Hestia was my roommate in freshman year," Sophie explains.

"I know," Helix says shocking everyone including me.

"You know? How do you know? Have you two met before?" Sophie asks.

Helix looks at me a smile still on his face and raises his brow. Causing everyone to glance at me for an answer.

Wait I wasn't the one who said he knew I was Sophie's freshman roommate and how did he even know that?! I notice the glint and suspicions growing in everyone's eyes. Where they thinking I was one of his many "friends"? Goodness! "No! I mean I don't him or how he knows me," I say giving him a perplexed and concerned look.

They all turn to look at him. He chuckles, "You always talked about your roommate Hestia during your freshman years remember? The description you gave fit her, hence I correctly assumed,"Helix explains.

"Oh yah I did, I absolutely loved Hestia!" Sophie explains.

"Loved?" I say faking offense.

"Still do," she says raising her hands to which we all laugh. My eyes fall on Helix and I'm taken aback by his eyes on me as he grins. I quickly look away.

The others introduce themselves and the waiter comes over to take our order. We order one Hawaiian pizza and one 6-meat fiesta pizza and soda's.

"You've heard of him before right? of Helix," Emma who was seated next to me says once the waiter leaves.

"I bet you Hestia hasn't," Sophie who'd heard her interjects. "She doesn't attend any events, her life consists of school, work and her room," Sophie says and giggles.

"There's nothing wrong with that either, it saves you from unnecessary stress and spending," Helix says. I glance at him, was he standing up or me?

"That's true, goodness if only I didn't get called out by my friends to drink every Friday!"

"Or to go shopping!"

"I agree the other day..." And so the conversation shifts from focusing on me to everyone else.I smile to myself and take a sip of the Bubly. 

We start discussing project ideas which takes a chunk of time. Craving some pizza, I reach out for a slice, but Sophie grabs it and make a face at me as she mouths "Mine now,". I chuckle and shake my head instead grabbing a paper towel to clean my hands.

For some reason, my eyes glance at Helix. I notice he'd gestured at a waiter, the waiter comes over and Helix whispers to him. I turn to look back at the group chatting about data.

"Miss your pizza," I hear someone say as I feel a presence next to me. I look up and notice the waiter place a plate of five slices of Hawaiian pizza in front of me. That was the only Pizza I was liked and had eaten since we ordered it and the fiesta. I glance at Helix who smiles at me. I smile back and reach for a piece, however Sophie also reaches for the plate.

"Wow, more pizza," Sophie says attempting to reach into my plate. I lift it up. "Mine now," I say to which her mouth opens in shock and shuts as she chuckles. "You've been negatively influenced," she says shaking her head. "Hestia you need to stop hanging around negative influences," she says seriously.

"You mean you?" Helix says to which she fake gasps placing her hand over her heart before proceeding to nod," Guilty," We all laugh, and my eyes pause on Helix who also glances at me and gives a warm smile.

"Thank you," I mouth to which he smirks and takes out his phone and types on it.

Seconds later my phone beeps. I take it out and glance at it, it's from Helix.
