Gadget was at a Christmas party celebrating the joyous holiday. There was also another reason to celebrate, Infinite was now reformed after countless lessons of being good. Although he still has his personality, the trait of being evil was gone. Both the Jackal and Wolf were chatting, not really paying attention to the party. "Don't they look cute together?" Amy asked to Tails. Both them and the rest of the resistance knew there was some sort of a love interest between Gadget and Infinite. Amy and Tails were the only ones that wanted to do something about it so they made a plan. "Alright you got the "thing" I asked you to bring?" Amy asked to Tails. "Yep I'll go fly over them and let's see what might happened" Tails said taking out a mistletoe. He started to fly and tried his best not to get caught by Gadget or Infinite. Luckily he managed to fly over them with the mistletoe in his hand. "Hey Rookie and Infinite, look up." Sonic said noticing the mistletoe. Both of them looked up and blushed when they noticed the mistletoe. "Tails really!?" Gadget said to Tails in a bit of anger. He looked back to Infinite who had a small smile on his face. "I-Infinite?" Gadget asked now madly blushing. Infinate put his hand on Gadget's cheek which causes Gadget to flinch a little. Before he could say anything, he felt soft lips land on his lips. The kiss only lasted for about 10 seconds but it felt like hours to Gadget and Infinite. Once the kiss ended, they realized that Amy, Tails, Sonic and Gears were all staring at them. Gadget just hid himself in Infinite's chest while Infinite didn't mind. "Hey bro, you okay? Do you maybe wanna stop hiding and want to talk about this?" Gears asked. "Um no. It's much safer here, I'll just be by Infinite's side now." Gadget responded still hiding his face. "I think you should just give him time." Infinite said to Gears. Gears just nodded and the party continued. Although Gadget might be embarrassed by what happened and Infinite might seem calm they both think that this is the start of a relationship.
