Next morning!!

Ruhi woke up and came into the living area to find Vidyut playing with Advait and Advaita. Saurav was busy on his laptop. Mihika was scolding Niyati and Khush as they were fighting over something. Harsha was setting Khushi's hair. Adrita is checking something in a big trolley bag, and Aniruddh is in the kitchen.

She glanced at the clock and saw it was 10 in the morning.

She signed, concluding that she had woken up late.

Ruhi (sitting beside Saurav): Good morning.

Saurav (wrapping his arm around Ruhi): Morning bache.

Ruhi cuddled him. He smiled, holding her tightly. He is still her cuddle bear.

Niyati (standing in front of Ruhi): Ani papa is cooking now.

Ruhi (shocked): Why?

Vidyut (sighing): Hey bhagwaan.

Mihika (smirking): No one can save you guys.

Ruhi (cuddling with Saurav): This is so unfair.

Saurav (pecking her hair): Na bache! He loves you a lot. That's why, he wants you to eat healthy food.

Ruhi (pouting): Fine! Fine!! If you say so.

Niyati pouted, standing in front of Saurav. He smiled, pulling her towards himself in a hug.

After a few minutes, everyone settled on dining for breakfast.

Adrita: I am planning to visit and stay at my parents' house today, as it's Saturday, and Mom and Dad want to meet Advait and Advaita.

Vidyut: I will join you. You may need help for the babies.

Mihika (smirking): Ohhhhh!!! Does she need help with the babies, or do you need her?

Saurav: Bhai, we have to attend a party today of the Raheja group. We are invited with family.

Mihika: Hmm... The NGO also received an invitation to this party. I will be attending on behalf of the NGO. So, I will come with you then.

Harsha: Okay! I have to go to the office party.

Aniruddh: Hmm... Okay! We have excellent relations with them. So, we have to go.

Ruhi (whining): Business parties are too boring.

Harsha: I know but we don't have other option.

Ruhi: I can stay at home.

Anirudh: No Rooh! While returning, it will be midnight. We can't let you alone. Please for me.

Ruhi (blinking her eyes): Meri ek tang nakli hai. Main hockey ki bahut badi player thi. Phir ek match haar gayi and mere dosto ne us hi hockey stick se meri tange tod di. To phir Dr ne bola hai mujhe bed pe pade rehne ko.... To pade rehne do... Duh!!!

(Ruhi: I have an artificial leg. I used to be hockey's best player, but I lost one match, and my friends broke my leg with a hockey stick. The doctor advised me to rest in bed. So, let me...... Duh!!)

She looked at everyone. Everyone was glaring at her.

Ruhi (proudly): Eh!!! Main pata nahi kya bol diya but bahut acha bola isliye to sab aese dekh rahe ho. (I don't know what I said but it was good. That's why you all are glaring at me)

Vidyut was trying to control his laugh.

Ruhi (nodding): Okay! Okay!! Main samajh gayi. Party attend karni hi padegi. Hehehehe!!! (I got it. I have to attend this party)

Aniruddh (patting her head): Good...

Ruhi (irritated): Don't Dada! Your hands have oil. This will spoil my hair.

She pouted. Aniruddh chuckled, flicking her nose.

She still loves her hair and now, as she is about to enter college life. She is even more excited about hairstyles.

Saurav: You are fully turning like Vidu.

Vidyut (proudly): That's a good thing.

Niyati (giving Vidyut a flying kiss): Yess...

Vidyut (smirking): Niyati loves me more, bhai.

Niyati giggles.

Adrita: Ruhi, if you don't want to go to the party. You can join us.

Ruhi (pouted): I will go to the party.

Harsha: Khush, will you come with me to the party?

He nodded yes but then immediately shook his head.

Mihika (chuckled): Yes or no?

Khush (innocently pouting): I want to meet Radha aunty from mumma's hospital but I want to go with Ruhi bua.

Everyone giggles at his answer.

Ruhi: You go with mumma and meet Radha aunty. I am home with you all day.

Khush (smiling): Mumma, I will come with you.

Khushi (raising her hand): Me with papa.

Harsha: We already know.

Vidyut (smirking): Ruhi, you have to wear something girly, not your jeans and tee.

Ruhi (turning to Aniruddh): No! I am planning to wear Bhai's new grey hoodie. I will be wearing it

Listening to her words, Vidyut's smirk dropped.

Vidyut (glaring at Ruhi): I dare you to enter the room.

Before Ruhi could react.

Adrita: Don't worry Ruhi, I will keep it in your room.

Ruhi (Pecking Adrita's cheek): You are the bestest bhabhi. I love you.

Mihika (raising her eyebrow): What about us?

Ruhi (giggling): There is no doubt. I love you all and you all are my bestest bhabhis and friends too.

Saurav: By the way, Rooh, for college's first day you will be wearing a short kurti, which I bought for you.

Aniruddh: Even I suggested to her the same, but no... She wants to wear her tee.

Blush crept on her cheeks, remembering the earring Nayan bought for her, for that kurti.

Ruhi (biting her inner cheek to control her blush): Bhai, I will wear that.

Aniruddh and Saurav smile widely.

Vidyut (raising his eyebrow): But why are your cheeks turning pink?

Ruhi choked on her bite. She quickly gulped.

Ruhi (looking here and there): I applied blush to see how blush looks on me. Okay? Yeah and and don't waste your brain here. You should focus on the country. Okay? Yeah!! Chalo bye...

With this, she ran inside the room.

Others chuckled, understanding her situation.
