Ruhi was standing in front of the mirror, putting on a dress over her shoulder.

Ruhi (raising her eyebrow): How's it for college's first day?

Nayan (smiling): It's okay but try this?

He suggested to her the other dress, which was on the bed.

Ruhi (pouting): Dada too asked for the same, but I want to wear this one. Hmmm.... Let me try.

She stood in front of the mirror, putting on her other on her shoulder.

Nayan (standing behind her): You say?

Ruhi pouted.

He took out the earrings from his pocket and held them in front of her ears.

Nayan (winking): Perfect?

Ruhi beamed in happiness and took the earrings in her hand.

Ruhi (excitedly): Are these for me?

Nayan: No! For aliens.

She giggles as he flicks her nose.

Just then Khush ran inside the room. Nayan distances himself from her immediately.

Khush (complaining): Bua see Saurav chachu, he said only Ankita Dadi can have pulav. We will have broccoli only.

Ruhi (shocked): Why? I will have pulav. Let me speak with bhaiya.

She placed the dress and earrings on the bed and walked out of the room with Khush.

Nayan shakes his head in disbelief.

Nayan: Bhabhi was teasing me for proposing to her. But she doesn't know. Ruhi is still a baby. I don't want her to accept my proposal just because of infatuation. I want her to understand what love is. Perhaps, in the future, she will love someone else, but she will be stuck with me because of the relationship and commitment. I don't want her to go through such situations. I am glad the whole family knows my feelings and all are ready to support me. I will wait for Ruhi to be mature a bit more. Then I will propose.

He mumbles with a wide smile on his face.

Khush and Ruhi walked into the dining room, where everyone was present except Nayan, of course.

Ruhi (keeping her hands on her hips): Bhaiya, you said we can't have pulav.

Khushi: Don't help him, Di. Chachu said for Khush only. Because he flipped our plan by telling Mumma.

Niyati, who was beside Khushi, nodded in agreement.

Khush (making cry face): Niyati complained to Chachu.

Ruhi showed puppy eyes to Saurav, trying to melt him.

Khushi (soft voice): He is my little and cute baby. He won't repeat it. Now, let him have.

Khushi (looking at Khush): Fine fine!! Only because of Yuhiii...

She said "Yuhiii" to tease Ruhi. Ruhi rolled her eyes, sitting beside Adrita.

Harsha (scolding tone): Khushi, Ruhi is your bua. What's this Yuhii?

Khushi (pouting): Yes, but Mumma, she is my Yuhiii too.

Ruhi smiled, listening to her.

Ruhi (hugging Khushi): Bhabhi, let it be... She just teases me.

Harsha stared at both of them. They made puppy face, trying to melt Harsha.

Harsha (sighed): Okay fine... but Khushi, she is your bua. You should respect her.

Khushi wobbled her head, agreeing to her mother's words.

Nayan walked out of Ruhi's room. He sat beside his mother.

Ankita raised her eyebrow, as if asking something in a gesture. Nayan blinked his eyes as his cheeks turned a little pink. He shifted his focus towards his plate, to hide his pink cheeks.

Nayan approached Ankita with a hopeful glint in his eyes, asking for her help in selecting the perfect pair of earrings for Ruhi. As he described his vision, Ankita couldn't resist teasing him about his romantic gesture, her playful smile lighting up the around. However, beneath her playful banter, she was more than happy and eager to help him find something truly special for Ruhi.

With normal chit chat and bantering they all had dinner. Ankita and Nayan, bidding bye, left for their home.

After they both left.

Saurav: Rooh bache, your colleges will be opening next week?

Ruhi (nodding): Yess....

Saurav: I was planning to go trekking on Tuesday.

Ruhi (excitedly): Always in.

Vidyut: I am willing to join you guys.

Ruhi (irritated): No please. Last time, for you, I requested Bhaiya to take you as well, but you.... bhai, you seriously woke up at 8:30 and spoiled our trekking too.

Vidyut (smiling innocently): I can't wake up early. So, I decided to start trekking at 9:30-10.

Ruhi: Noo!!! We need to leave by 6-6:30. So, we don't have to exhaust ourselves in the afternoon hours by trekking in the Sunlight. By 2, we can come home.

Vidyut (rolling his eyes): Stop being with Saurav bhai. See, he is spoiling you. I mean, this is the only age you can sleep till late, but because of him, you are waking around 5-5:30.

Saurav: How is it a bad habit? It's a good thing.

Anirudh: I agree with Saurav. We have you as a lazy member. We can't bear the other one.

Vidyut (gasped): I am the father of two kids. Don't disrespect me.

Saurav: Behave like one then...

Vidyut stared at him, narrowing his eyes.

Ruhi: You can't join us and that's it.

Vidyut: Huh! You guys are so boring. I don't even want to join you guys.

Ruhi's mouth was wide open in shock. Saurav shook his head in disbelief. Others laugh out.

Later that night...

Everyone went into their rooms to sleep.

Ruhi shares her room with Khushi. Looking at both the girls, Niyati also joined them and Khush too asked for the same, seeing all the girls together.

Now, Ruhi, Khushi, Niyati and Khush share the room. They have installed an extra bed for them.

Kids were sleeping in the room, and Ruhi was scrolling through her phone. When a notification popped up on her screen.

Notification- Nayan text- This Monday, I was thinking of planning a movie night at my place with friends, and Tuesday morning we will go for a long drive. Nature morning. Mom agreed too. My friends, you and your friends. How's the idea? Will you join us?

Looking at the text, Ruhi got excited. Movie night with friends...
