Blue
Emma sneaked out of her dorm, and carefully shut the door, not wanting to wake Hermione up, since the brunette was a light sleeper. She turned around and grabbed Harry's Invisibility Cloak that was on the couch.
From what she heard from her dorm, they were sneaking out, but Harry had forgotten the Marauder's Map, so they went back to get it, and coincidentally, they had run into Seamus and Dean...
Well, let's just say they were traumatized for life.
Anyways, she draped the cloak over herself and walked out the portrait hole. She knew they would see her, but, who cares? She had to go talk to Sirius. It's been a while since she'd talked to him, so she sneaked out to see him today. Hopefully he wasn't mad, Emma thought to herself as she reached the top of the Astronomy Tower. She dropped the cloak and walked over to the edge of the Tower.
"Hey there, Dad," She muttered, loud enough to for it to echo inside her head. "I know it's been a while, please don't be mad at me." She looked up at the brightest star in the night sky - Sirius.
"Emma?" came a low but sweet voice. She turned around to see a mop of red hair glistening in the moonlight.
"Oh hey, Ron" The girl replied.
"What're you doing?" he asked, walking over to her side.
"Just... stargazing." She said, stopping herself before she could upset Ron. He doesn't need to know about how she sneaks out to see and talk to a star that has the same name as her father.
"Come on, Em, I can tell when you lie. What's up?" He asked softly, and not even Emma could say no to his worried face.
"I came to... talk to Dad." she admitted, making the redhead's eyes go wide.
"Sirius... is here? He's alive?" He asked, his tone a little more excited.
"No, it's just..." Emma sighed. "There's a star in the night sky called Sirius, and I like to think that, that is Dad, y'know? I like to think that it actually is Dad up there, just not with me." Emma sniffled, tearing up.
"Hey, hey, it's okay. Sorry I asked." Ron said in a comforting tone and wrapped in arms around her, which only made Emma cry more.
"Shh, it's okay. Just let it all out. I know you've been bottling this up for too long. It's okay." He coaxed, as she cried into his chest.
