Evelyn and Ryan left the school along with Jonathan and Nancy but they made a quick stop to Ryan's house to get some items.

They went through the window.

"We can't do this alone, we need help." Evelyn told Ryan, who nodded.

"Relax, we got Nancy and Jonathan Ev, We'll be fine."Ryan told her.

"We better be," Evelyn loaded her gun.

They were now in the car, heading towards the Byers house.

"So, how do you feel?" Ryan asked Evelyn, who nodded.

"I feel like shit," Evelyn answered honestly.

Ryan laughed.

"Didn't think you would say that, but it's an honest answer." Ryan looked at Evelyn.

"Yeah well it's hard when you lose your mom and one of your friends in a week, I don't know what I would do if I lost someone else." Evelyn explained.

"You're not gonna lose any of us, I promise," Ryan looked into her eyes, which caused him to lose focus.

"Ryan!" Evelyn took control of the wheel and they crashed into a tree.

"My car." Ryan mumbled.

"Stay here." Evelyn told him, she was grabbed by Ryan. "Evelyn, you're not going out there alone."

"Ryan, I'll be fine." Evelyn told him.

"Let me come with you, you are not going alone." Ryan pleaded.

Evelyn and Ryan got out of the car and they headed to where the figure was standing.

"Hey? Are you okay?" Evelyn asked the figure which only roared in reply, Evelyn and Ryan looked at eachother they knew what it was.

"But none of us are bleeding." Ryan whispered very quietly to Evelyn as they hid behind the car.

"Ryan..." Evelyn trailed off as she pointed to his face, where he was cut.

"It'll be okay, we just need a plan." Ryan explained.

"Yeah, yeah." Evelyn told herself. "A plan,"

Evelyn made her once again that the gun was working but that was enough for the demogorgon to notice them.

"Run, run!" Ryan grabbed Evelyn's hand.

They followed Ryan's order and they ran. "Give me the gun!" Ryan told Evelyn, which she did.

Ryan began to run towards the demogorgon and began to shoot it, that only made the demogorgon more angry, the demogorgon slashed Ryan in the chest, he fell to the ground.

"Ryan!" Evelyn screamed.

Evelyn made her way towards and used the can and began to make a trap for the demogorgon, which was working till the demogorgon figured out what was happening and made it way out.

"This is it, we're gonna die." Ryan muttered as he closed his eyes.

When nothing happened, Ryan opened his eyes same as Evelyn and watched in amazement. The demogorgon was floating, but how? Eleven wasn't with them, unless there was someone else.

A girl came from the shadows, her hand in front of her, shaved hair, nose bleeding due to her using her powers.

She started to scream as she threw the demogorgon towards the road only for it to get run over by someone's car.

"Who are you?" Ryan asked the girl, the girl only went up to them and showed them her tattoo. "One?"

The girl nodded. "How about we call you Sofia?" Evelyn asked.

"Sofia." The girl mumbled her new name.

"Sofia.." Ryan trailed off. "Harrington. Sofia Harrington."

Someone from the car came out. "Hey! You guys need a ride?" It was John, Evelyn's dad.

The ride to the hospital was short, Ryan was quickly sent to a room while Sofia and John stayed in the car.

Evelyn was now with Ryan in his hospital room.

"You're an idiot Ryan Henderson." Evelyn told him. "You could have died!"

"Yeah but I didn't." Ryan admired the girl. "I didn't, you and Sofia saved me."

"No, you saved yourself." Evelyn smiled at him. "Feel better." Evelyn kissed his head before leaving his room, giving Dustin and Ryan some brother time.

Evelyn walked towards where the Wheelers was sitting and sat down next to Karen, who sent her a warm smile.

One Month Later...

Evelyn hung up the Christmas lights with her dad, around the house. This would be their first Christmas with Eva, they missed her deeply.

"Well I think that settles it, Ev. Thanks for the help." John thanked his daughter.

"Anytime dad." Evelyn shot him some fingers guns before grabbing a present and headed up to her room.

To: Evelyn, From: Ryan. Evelyn smiled, she wondered what Ryan has gotten her.

She opened it and saw the most beautiful thing, it a locket, she opened it and saw a photo of her and her mom.

Evelyn almost cried at the gift, she saw a card, she took it and decided to read it.

"Hey Evelyn, it's me Ryan if you didn't know. I just wanted to wish you merry Christmas and you're probably wondering how was I able to get a perfectly good photo of you and your mom, well just ask your dad, the locket is pretty much a gift from the both of us haha. Anyways I just wanted to make you smile considering what happened last month was a lot, talk to you soon. :) - Ryan."

Evelyn smiled at the short letter, Evelyn had only wondered what he thought about her gift.

...

"So, you won?" Ryan asked Dustin, who nodded from the backseat.

"Yeah, it was totally awesome Ryan, you just had to be there!" Dustin exclaimed.

"If only," Ryan comments as he began to drive.

"What were you doing? Making out with Evelyn I assume." Dustin has asked, he didn't see the look of Ryan's face.

"I can assure you Dustin, that we did not make out." Ryan thinks back to the moment earlier with Evelyn.

"We're here for eggs and eggs only." Ryan told Evelyn, who nodded in sadness.

"Cmon, cheer up, We'll be out of here in no time." Ryan got out of the car.

"What the hell?" Evelyn spoke as they saw the two broken glass doors.

They looked at each other. "Eleven."

The teens walked into the store and began to look what they were looking for till Evelyn got distracted and left Ryan alone.

"Hey Evelyn, I got the eggs- Evelyn?" Ryan looked around.

Ryan eventually found her looking at something.

"Evelyn?" Ryan questioned, Evelyn quickly put an item behind her back.

"What are you doing?" Ryan asked, Evelyn didn't answer but only shoved Ryan to the cashier stand to pay for the eggs which left Ryan in the car.

Ryan could only wonder what was taking her so long, finally she had come out.

"So, what'd you get?" Ryan asked.

"You'll see." Evelyn answered. "Now let's get this show on the road."

"Yeah, it was a lot." Ryan smiled as he admired the black and white spotted bunny plush in the backseat.

I can't believe I made it this far, thanks for the support, ghost reader or not, you gave this story a chance but anyways IT'S ANDREW'S BIRTHDAY AND THAT WAS THE CALLING TO UPDATE TODAY, I SWEAR but um anyways the next chapter will include some bloopers so be ready for those. :)
