Act 3, Scene 2
Narrator (Ava):
That night, Juliet longed for her lover,
As expected, to spend the night together with her;
But fate chose to let them not under a single cover,
For the forecast of love was a blur.
The Nurse came rushing in, cursing her Romeo,
And in the gist of telling the news,
She told Juliet about the survival ratio,
Tainting her colors with black hues.
Juliet (Jisung): Is Romeo dead?
The Nurse (Chan): Wait, when did I-
Juliet (Jisung): I’m gonna die with him!
The Nurse (Chan): No, wait-
Juliet (Jisung): (wails) I’m gonna die a virgin!
The Nurse (Chan): Child, shut yo crusty dusty ass mouth up! He’s alive, and he’s at Friar Lawrence’s!
Juliet (Jisung): Ahhh! (smiling) Thank God I ain’t dying a virgin!
The Nurse (Chan): That’s what you care about?
Juliet (Jisung): Your point?
The Nurse (Chan): (sighs) I’m sick and tired of this.
Juliet (Jisung): My mum’s still paying you. Oh, and by the way, go to him and give him this.
[Juliet takes off a ring and hands it to The Nurse]
Juliet (Jisung): Tell him that it’s a token of my love.
The Nurse (Chan): It’s literally a Cheetos ring.
Juliet (Jisung): Exactly. A token of my love.
[Exit The Nurse]
