STORY DESCRIPTION ━━ In which Everleigh Rogers is born with a gift but sees it as a curse. However her choices in changing the future lead her to her true destiny and her greatest fear.

SUMMARY ━━ Everleigh Rogers had been born with the ability to see the future. From the time that she was little she saw everything that would happen, that included her parents death, Steve finally getting a chance to prove himself worthy. But only one haunted her nightmares both asleep and waking. The death of a man she didn't know. Everleigh was not only determined to figure out who this mystery man was but she was determined to walk her own path and make her brother proud.

─ Follows the song The Line by Twenty One Pilots.

─ Everleigh has the ability to see the future. Kind of like Alice however instead of the person changing their future she has a chance to change it with out repercussions. Because of this Strange does not see one of the futures of her saving Tony.

─ In her main vision she sees Tony's death in Endgame. Mostly it happens at night but there are a few times where she could be talking to someone and she zones out and is pulled into the vision. It's basically her powers way of trying to tell her what choice she needs to make.

─ Her fear is dying and leaving her brother behind and him being disappointed in her. By the end she does face these fears.

─ Everleigh is an agent like Peggy and they work closely together, however she disappears after Steve gets the super soldier serum. The Red Skull found out about her powers and sent some of his men to kidnap her.

─ When she is captured he experiments on her trying to advance her powers. He uses the Super Soldier serum on her. It doesn't enhance her powers, however when she gets close to the tesseract that enhance her powers. Everleigh gets close to the tesseract when she manages to escape.

─ After coming in to contact with the tesseract it helps awaken a power but not enough for her to know about it. So only visions of the future remain currently. The power that will be awoken is Energy Projection.

─ Steve finds her in the aftermath of coming in contact with the tesseract. Bucky is not with him yet. She does help her brother find Bucky afterwards.

─ When Steve goes to fight Red Skull, Everleigh stays behind. She watches the plane crash into the ice and then doesn't see Steve's future.

─ In the after events of the first avenger, she does help start SHIELD, so she is a co-founder. As the years go by she doesn't age. Pre-Avengers is her exploring how to get better at using her powers. Getting better at finding people, for example Tony. Around this time the nightmare of Tony's death (though she doesn't know it's Tony yet) start to get worse.

─ This vision has turned into a waking nightmare and she sees it a lot both when she's asleep and when she's awake.

─ During this time she had left SHIELD, however Fury seeks her out and ask to come back to be an agent. She agrees to come back to SHIELD. She befriends Coulson and he becomes a father figure to her (even though she's technically older).

─ Everleigh is kept in the dark about her brother still being alive. Fury thought it was best knowing that her powers were likely unstable. She comes face to face with him on the bridge in the Helicarrier. They have an emotional reunion. She also calls Fury out for not telling her that her brother was alive.

─ When they discover where Loki is, Everleigh decides to sit the fight out because she needs time to process the fact that her brother is alive and that she didn't see this at all.

─ When they get back she is present for the interrogation of Loki. After that she finally meets Tony Stark. She does not tell him that she's seen his death before it happens. Actually no one knows.

─ Everleigh goes with Coulson to make sure Loki stays contained. She watches Loki kill Coulson in front of her. Upon this happening and Thor disappearing as well as Loki her power fully awakens and it slips out of her destroying everything in the area accept Coulson.

─ For most of the battle of New York she stays on the ground fighting beside Natasha and Clint. She does however manage to at some point fight by her brother's side just like old times.

─ Everleigh and Steve live in the same apartment building in the Winter Soldier.

─ In the winter soldier Everleigh is struggling with the aftermath of New York. Her constant nightmares of Tony's death are now mixed with nightmares of New York.

─ During this time she's also learning to train her newly gained powers.

─ Everleigh will make a new friend in the apartment building that she and Steve live in and she will become Everleigh's best friend. Her first name is Willow, she can be casted as whomever you'd like to use.

─ Upon meeting Willow, she starts to have visions of her death. In the vision she is killed by Ultron, he kills her in front of all the avengers when they're in sokovia and it's in the air.

─ Everleigh keeps this to herself and does try to distance herself from her Willow, but as it turns out she's revealed to also be an agent of shield like Kate.

─ Everleigh is not shocked to see that Bucky is alive because she had visions of him surviving the train, and she tried to say something to Steve before he disappeared but he wouldn't listen to her. Steve however does believe her words after finding out that Bucky is alive.

─ When they go on the run and end up in New Jersey, Zola reveals information about Everleigh. He basically says that if she hadn't escaped she would've been the key to Hydra winning the war. However because she escaped they could do anything to her. They basically would've brained washed her like they did with Bucky and would've found a way to manipulate her visions of the future to use as an advantage.

─ When they are on the bridge, towards the end of the fight Bucky will grab a hold of Everleigh with his metal arm and squeeze her neck. This happens before Steve comes to help but after Natasha had been shot. She tries to help save Natasha by distracting Bucky but it doesn't go her way.

─ Bucky will then through her to the ground where she will knock her head on the concrete resulting in an open cut to her forehead. She also passes out after that and later wakes up to Steve's voice when they're going to see Fury.

─ Willow is there because Fury knew that deep down she could be trusted. And she ends up helping in the take down of Hydra and SHIELD.

─ Everleigh remains with Fury and Willow as they get off the Helicopter, then she goes with Sam to help fight Rumlow. Which by the way she has never liked Rumlow so she gets satisfaction in helping Sam beat him.

─ Everleigh asks Willow to join the Avengers and she agrees. Though she has no powers just like Clint and Natasha.

─ When they come in contact with the Twins, like everyone else she experiences a nightmare. In this nightmare she sees her death at the hands of a villain (that villain being Thanos but she doesn't know it). In this dream he stabs her with his sword. Then it cuts to a funeral, her funeral and she learns that Steve was disappointed in her, that he wanted her to be something more.

─ When she comes out of the nightmare she's in a daze and has disassociated. Clint has to circle back for her because she can barely move. She's trying to process the nightmare but she's stuck in her head.

─ You are more than welcome to give Willow a nightmare as well.

─ When they get to Clint's home, Everleigh chooses to stay outside. She actually finds a tree and climbs into one of them. Because Clint wasn't affected by Wanda's nightmare he goes to talk to Everleigh. He'll climb into the tree and talk to her.

─ She admits that she's afraid that Steve will be disappointed in her like her parents were when they were alive. She always saw how much they loved him more than her. Steve was the only one to show her love and treated her like a sibling. She doesn't want to let him down. Then she reveals that seeing certain people die in some of the same visions haunts her. She's afraid of what the future might be if she chooses to change it. Clint definitely reassures her that her ability to see the future choose her for a reason and it's up to her to discover that purpose.

─ Everleigh goes with Steve to distract Ultron while Natasha retrieves the body Ultron made.

─ Willow will with Tony and Bruce because she's also smart and has a photographic memory.

─ When Steve, Tony, Bruce and the others are arguing over the body Everleigh has a vision of the Vision. She watches Thor come in to bring it to life. When she comes back to reality she tries to tell the others but they're still arguing and finally Thor arrives.

─ After they go over the game plan to stop Ultron Everleigh has a talk with Willow. She admits that there's a possibility that death will come. And she also admits that she's been in love with Willow. She was too afraid to say something because she didn't want to lose Willow. However Willow feels the same way.

─ They have a kiss scene before they go off to fight. Everleigh will make it her mission to try and save Willow from Ultron, but she won't tell her that he's responsible for her death.

─ When Ultron does kill Willow, Everleigh cries out and tries to go to her but Steve and Thor hold her back. Her powers once again come out and destroy some of the Ultron bots. When the fighting begins she runs over to where Willow's body is. She holds into her until Steve comes to get her.

─ She basically misses out on the rest of the fight because she didn't want to leave Willow alone. When they're evacuating Steve carries Willow's body back to the Helicarrier. Everleigh remains with Willow's body, she's actually holding onto her body as tears roll down her face.

─ Everleigh leans close to her ear and whispers "will be together again."

─ In civil war Everleigh is still struggling to come to terms with Willow's death. She's actually seeing her ghost and is often talking to her. It's not a healthy way for her to cope but being able to still talk to her helps. Though only Everleigh can see her.

─ With the events of the Sokovia Accords Everleigh decides to stick with Tony. She wants the safe option, though she starts to see how wrong the Accords are.

─ She'll be with Tony to talk to Sam. She also explains why she did what she did. When Tony goes to talk to Sam she has a vision of Tony and Steve fighting though she doesn't know what the reason is.

─ Everleigh does try and to get Tony and Steve to stop fighting but it doesn't work. And in the end as much as she dislikes her decision she leaves with Steve and Bucky.

─ Everleigh is on the run, however she's not with her brother. She spends the next 2 years by herself. Well with Willow's ghost. She's managed to live a somewhat normal life while being on the run.

─ Steve, Natasha, Sam, Wanda and Vision find her before they head to the Avengers Compound. Everleigh is distant with all of them including Steve. She's afraid to let them back in.

─ Everleigh is not all there when they're coming up with a game plan. She does go with them to Wakanda.

─ When the battle starts she refuses to fight, Natasha finds her on the battlefield and has a pep talk with her telling her that this fight is to protect Vision. And that if they let Thanos get the Infinity Stone that they're screwed. She eventually finds her courage and joins everyone on the battlefield.

─ When Thanos arrives on Wakanda she tries to protect Vision from Thanos. But he's stronger and manages to knock Everleigh into a tree.

─ When she comes too, she watches Thanos and Thor talking, then she watches him snap his fingers before he disappears.

─ When she stands up she watches as Wanda disappears before her eyes.

─ The shock of losing settles in, Everleigh is back in her room in the Avengers compound and once again she is keeping those who are still alive at a distance.

─ She stays in her room most of the time, talking to Willow. Her mental state does start to decline, to the point where Steve is starting to worry about her.

─ While she's still dealing with what happened at the end of Infinity war, around the time Tony arrives back on earth she finally decides to come out of her room.

─ Everleigh stays back when everyone goes to find Thanos. She is able to have a conversation with Tony when he wakes back up. She explains that she hasn't been the same since Willow died. She was the love of her life and Ultron took her away from Everleigh.

─ She admits that she knew Willow would die because she saw it. She often wished that she had fought harder to save Willow because maybe then she'd still be here. Tony tries to explain that Willow made her own choice to be an Avenger. That they all made choices to be an Avenger.

─ In the 5 year time jump Everleigh has gotten better but still struggles some days. She still seeing and talking to Willow. She left the Avengers compound after the second year and bought a home of her own. In that house she built a life with ghost Willow. Though ghost Willow wants her to move on, to be happy again.

─ Steve and Natasha arrive at her house with Scott to get her help in asking Tony for help to time travel. For the first time in a long time Everleigh finds the hope she was searching for.

─ During the time heist Everleigh will go with Tony, Steve, Scott, and Bruce to New York in 2012. She gets distracted from helping find the stones by Willow, who in this year would still be alive. Even though she wants to go and talk to her she refrains from doing so and gets back to getting the stones.

─ She rejoins with Steve and together they get Loki's scepter. She has to hide the disgust in her face while being in the same space as Rumlow. Eventually they leave, and come face to face with Steve of 2012. Together Steve and Everleigh fight 2012 Steve.

─ When they get back and Everleigh finds out that Natasha died she wants to make Thanos pay for what he's done.

─ Everleigh is stuck under rubble when Thanos comes through the Time Machine and shoots the compound. During that time she comes to realize that the vision she had of Tony's death is going to happen.

─ Ghost Willow talks to her explaining that she already knows what she has to do. Everleigh escapes from the rubble and finds Tony. She knows it's now or never and decides to tell Tony that she saw his death back in the 1940's and that if he trusts her she knows how to save him.

─ Everleigh will say her goodbye to Steve, and it's emotional. Steve doesn't understand why she's saying a goodbye. Tony hands his nano tech over to Everleigh who fights against Thanos until she manages to take the stones from him. With the power of the infinity stones in her possession she's able to snap her fingers.

─ She falls to the ground and Steve is the first by her side. He finally answers her by telling her that he was always proud of her. That she risked everything just to save everyone. Everleigh tells him not to waste any time. With a final breath she says "I'm going home, where Willow is waiting for me."

─ The book will end with the funeral scene and everyone celebrating Everleigh. Tony speaks at her funeral thanking her for saving his life, for giving him more time with his daughter. After the funeral Steve takes her advice and does return the stones.
