STORY DESCRIPTION ━━ In which Steve Rogers is certain he's found another love, but her death date is clocking down faster than she can fall in love with him.

SUMMARY ━━ Auburn Wilson is the cousin to Sam Wilson, her mother had married into his family and gave birth to her two years after Sam had been born. She had a close relationship with Sam and Sarah which prompted them to do a lot together. As Auburn got older, she studied to be a doctor so she could help save lives, but like her cousin she decided to do it with the military. When she returns for leave because of almost losing her life a few months ago she is pulled into the world of Captain America and wants to help out even though she has no powers, at least that she's aware of. While on the run to stop HYDRA with Steve, Natasha, and Sam she discovers the truth about her accident and is left shock to know that happened.

EXTRA INFORMATION ⤵︎

─ Auburn was in an explosion a few months prior to her returning home. She will be living with Sam because he thinks its best if she has someone to watch over her.

─ Her memories of the explosion are in fragments and she tries to recover them while helping to stop HYDRA.

─ She'll learn from Rumlow that they are the cause behind the explosion and the powers that she might have.

─ Rumlow will throw her out of the glass which will cause her powers to awaken even more.

─ Auburn has flight, and psionic powers (kind of like Jean Grey).

─ Auburn and Steve will meet each other when he and Natasha show up at Sam's house.

─ Steve will know who she is because Sam had mentioned her when they were talking about his time in the military. Sam had mentioned to Steve that his cousin had just gotten home after recovering from an explosion.

─ HYDRA is reponsible for the explosion, but it has nothing like to do with any of the Infinity Stones though she will later on have some connection to Vision when he is created.

─ Auburn will be apart of the conversation and when she knows that Sam's going to help Steve and Natasha she wants to help them too. Though Sam will try to remind her what happened and she will tell him that she's all healed up and like he said, Captain America needs their help.

─ Auburn will be in Age of Ultron more than Sam is because she actually joins the team, to get better control of her powers after she discovered them in the Winter Soldier.

─ Her and Steve will continue to grow their relationship as friends. And he's falling in love with her quicker than she is with him but she knows deep down that she does love him even if she's not ready to admit it to herself just yet.

─ When she meets Vision she starts to recall more of the memories from the explosion that gave her her powers.

─ She learns that she has to protect him and the stone that goes with him. She knows about the existing threat of Thanos but fails to mention it to anyone.

─ Ultron will confront her and tell her that her death date is getting closer, he'll also tell her in front of Steve that he's falling in love with a walking corpse.

─ As it turns out the powers she was gifted with are slowly killing her from the inside out, but she doesn't discover that until the end of Civil War.

─ Her vision will be that of a future she doesn't have, so like it would be a funeral scene where she's in the casket and everyone is mourning her loss. Family, friends, and the Avengers.

─ In Civil War she will stand with her brother and Steve. Though she believes that there going about this the wrong way and the Accords shouldn't even exists.

─ She will also tell Steve why she's not sure she can love or commit to him. It's because she lost the love of her life and best friend in the explosion that gave her powers.

─ She'll discover that her power is killing her slowly by the technology that T'Challa has.

─ Pre-Infinity War will be the 2 years in between Civil War and Infinity War. It'll cover them on the run and it will also cover Auburn finally admitting her feelings for Steve.

─ When she admits her feelings to Steve she does feel slightly guilty but she does learn to move past the guilt.

─ Auburn is also dealing with the repercussion of the fact that she's dying. She will let the team know, this includes Steve, Sam, Natasha, Wanda, and Clint (before Wanda and Vision leave them). Clint is on the phone when finds out.

─ Auburn will be with her cousin as well as Steve and Natasha to save Vision.

─ She sticks with Wanda and Vision for the most part because she has to protect Vision.

─ Auburn will stay with Vision when Wanda leaves to help the others. Auburn however is thrown out of the building before Vision is attacked.

─ When Thanos arrives she uses her weapons to distract him. He however knocks her out of the way. She is knocked out.

─ After Thanos brings Vision back a second time before he can do anything Auburn gives all her energy into her powers for a final fight, she can feel her death getting closer. She uses her powers and her weapons to attack Thanos. However he'll grab her knife and stab her in the chest and throw her body into a tree then he'll take the stone from Vision.

─ Sam is trying to get back to his cousin but is snapped away before he's got the chance to.

─ Steve will go to Vision first and check on his body. Meanwhile Auburn will be looking up towards the sky feeling her death any second. She's lost a lot of blood so she won't be surviving.

─ Steve remembers what happened to her and will run to her and pulling her into his arms holding onto her as she talks to him about Sam and how she really did love Steve and would've wanted a life with him. She makes him promise to take care of Sam and to get a life he's always wanted. Auburn will die in Steve's arms with the those who remain around her.

─ She will have two funerals. Sarah will be at this funeral. When everyone comes back they'll have another funeral for her after Tony's funeral.
