"ALANA!!" I ran to her. Life was zapping out of her in seconds. Her breathing shortened, her eyes were closed. I had never been so afraid in my life.I got Battlescar and loaded him in my blaster. I prayed as I shot him at Alana's wound. He hit her wound. It was healed almost immediately. Battlescar smiled and nodded, telling me she was ok. I sighed in relief and got him to my backpack. He deserved some sleep. Alana was still unconscious though. Just then, a guard slugged me. I picked up Alana in my arms and dodged. I shouted,

"Ash! E! Cover me! Alana's down!" They obeyed and shot Inferno and Burpy at 20  guards after me. I ran to my mecha and rode home at top speed. I was so scared I forgot how weakened I was. She had to be ok. She just had to. I arrived home and quickly went to the living room. I gently lay her down on the sofa. She was so beautiful and sweet, yet daring and courageos. I sat by the sofa, hoping she would wake up, just something to tell me she was fine. Wait, what did I just think out loud?! Shit. What's wrong with me? Suddenly, I felt this burning desire to kiss her. Hover smirked. He gestured me to go ahead. I was shy.What if she was about to wake up when I did? I decided to kiss her cheek. But I was about to when the door opened. FUCK.

"Leo? What are you doing?" Eli asked.I backed away and replied,

"N-nothing." He came in. Ash told me,

"That ain't look like nothing." Trixie smirked. I groaned.

"Guys, really?! Now?" They nodded and giggled. I turned my attention back on Alana. She was starting to wake up. I called,

"Guys, she's waking up." She stirred and her eyes fluttered open.

"Ugh....where am I?" She asked and saw me.

"Alana! Thank god you're ok!" I told and hugged her. She replied,

"Too.....tight.." She stuttered. I quickly let go.

" I-i'm sorry! Did I hurt you?" Ugh, now I was doing it again. Eli confirmed,

"You have a crush on her." I groaned again and dragged myself to my room. I closed the door and leaned on it. That's when I realized: I've been trying to deny what was the truth the whole time. I did love her. But what if she didn't love me back? I smelt something horrible. Dinner. I went out of my room and ate. Alana asked,

"Leo, you ok? You looked pretty mad just now." I replied,

"Yeah." I cleaned my plate and went to my room.

The next day...

Alana's POV

I went for a walk around Slugterra, sure to bring my slugs and blaster. I was minding my own business when Emily said,

"Well well well, what do we have here? An opponent." I was confused.

"Opponent? What are you talking about?" She replied,

"You think you can steal Leo for yourself. But the truth is that he's mine." She slugged me. I dodged and shot my armashelt at her. She dodged. I dodged her Tempesto and Bubblash. But I didn't notice her fire an Attacknet at me. I was trapped. I couldn't get out. She loaded a Goon Doc in her blaster.

"I'm gonna have fun killing you." She pulled the trigger.
