Joining the march.

Arabella POV

I stood up, and began to walk again. I had to move on. I couldn't sit around in grief all day. The bodies of Elisa and Liz was gone, but the streets were full of people. I saw a bunch of women raising guns and torches over their heads and screaming. "BREAD TO PARIS! BREAD TO PARIS!" I think i have heard of this. The women march. They are going to give women voting rights. I was thinking of joining, but I never actually made a decision.

A woman in a dirty, shredded dress came to me. In her hands she held a gun. I flinched. A gun was the weapon that killed my friends. The least I could do was stay away from one. She must have seen my reaction, because she pulled the gun away. She smiled. "Are you coming?" I stared at her in confusion. "I saw your reaction. Was the two dead girls your friends?" Slowly i nodded my head. Her smile became more understanding. "I know it's hard to lose someone you love, but revenge their deaths by coming with us! They didn't have to die in vain." She pulled out her hand for me to grab it. I looked at it, took a deep breath, and grabbed her hand.

The second my hand came in contact with hers, I remembered Elisa's smile. She wanted me to do this, I am sure of it. I smiled, and joined the other women  in their way down the street. I am going to make them proud of me. I know they are looking down at me from heaven. I have to become strong. For their sake.
