Hiccup's POV
I got a call from Gobber, my dad's chauffeur. I answered it expecting him to say something like dad had to give me a message. Instead he said
"Your father has been... killed. "
"What?" I said my voice shaking.
"Hiccup I'm sorry but Eret shot an arrow at him accidently during hunting. "
"Okay. Thanks Gobber. Can I see him?"
"No can do lad. No one can see him until the funeral. "
I hung up and called Astrid.
"Can you come over? "
"Of course. "

She came over and I told her everything. We both had tears in our eyes. We both let it out and cried in each others arms.
