Ash's POV:
*How do I get away from the group and buy this stuff and bring it to the certain spot I chose, without being suspicious? I could say I want to talk to my mom privately or say I have to do the last shopping here in Kalos. Me shopping without them and without food would be too suspicious ... I got it! I say I want to talk to my mom privately and pretend to have to buy stuff for her. That should work. ... OK, where do I get the flowers from? Quel fleuriste? Et ou?
(AN Sorry, had to. Translation: Which florist? And where?)
I could ask Bonnie but I would need an excuse ... Wait! Even if I had a good explanation, it would be useless. Cornflowers are treated like weed (AN No, I do not mean the drug. I mean it's treated like a pest plant.) and only the alike looking aster can be bought in flower shops. Finding them won't be easy. ... Next would be music ... I guess, I don't need that.
Lastly the meeting point. In the nature.
Good for me, we sleep in Lumiose City, the biggest city in Kalos. (AN Sarcasm)
So there will be a lot to do tomorrow but it's sure worth it.

(AN Ash is the commenting narrator again.)
I stood up pretty late, as always, in order to make this day look like every other day.
We had breakfast and after that I leave to talk to my mother privately.
I really talked to my mom but before I did so I have sent out Talonflame to look for some blue cornflowers. That saves some time and time is just what I needed.

After I have talked to my mom, I checked every route leading to Lumiose City and finally find a totally lovely place. I ran back, as fast as I could and reunited with the group again. They didn't ask why it took so long, so I had nothing to explain. They probably thought my mom just couldn't stop talking. Soon my Talonflame came back and I had to explain why it flew around. I said it wanted to train by flying at maximum speed as long as possible. After that it took a rest and came back here. ... Unbelievable, they really bought that ... We had a fun time together and went back to the Pokémon Centre. We had to sleep in the Pokémon Centre because Clemont and Bonnie's dad was a real mess. He also didn't let us in because he worked on a new invention. The invention of Clemont and Bonnie's dad looked kind of old school but I am positive it won't explode.

At the Pokémon Centre we ate and talked for a while until Bonnie got sleepy. Clemont brought Bonnie to her room and while he did so I prepared myself to ask Serena to go on a promenade.

(AN Ash's perspective in the present.)
Ash's POV:
Me: "Well, Serena ..."
Serena: "What is it, Ash?"
Me: "Would you like to walk around a bit? ... Just you and me?"
Serena: "Sssssure ... I would love to, but ... isn't it kind of late?"
Me: "Well, I think it's the perfect time for a promenade."
Serena: "OK, let's go."
Me: "Wait, we should wait for Clemont to come back and tell him, so he needn't worry."
Serena: "Sure. Let's wait for him."

After some minutes Clemont appeared.
Clemont: "Hi guys, I am back."
Me: "Hi Clemont."
Serena: "Hi."
Me: "Clemont, how to say ... Me and Serena, we wanted to go out for a walk, now."
Clemont: "But it's already dark and pretty late."
Me: "It won't take long, we will be back, soon. Don't worry."
Clemont: "OK, have fun. I'll probably be sleeping, when you return. But before you go, can I speak to you, Ash?"
Me: "Sure."
Clemont (whispering just to me): "Go, get her, Ash. You are not the only one who just pretends to be dense."
Me (surprised): "What? Why?"
Clemont: "I know a lot about literature and so I know the epoch of Romanticism. What you do is way too characteristic for the epoch. And I pretend to be dense, when Bonnie is around, so she can't embarrass and annoy me even more. If she knew I know what love is, she would not stop annoying me until I found myself a girlfriend."
Me: "I see ..."
Clemont: "But don't walk to far away, there are a lot of dangerous Pokémon out, at night."
Me: "Don't worry, Clemont. We will be near Lumiose City and I am the champ, so I won't lose to a wild Pokémon."
Clemont: "You're right. Good luck."
Me: "Thanks. Bye."
Clemont: "Bye."

After we've left the Pokémon Centre.
Serena: "So, what were you two talking about?"
Me: "Nothing important. ... He wished me good luck."
Serena: "For what?"
Me: "Probably for the walk. You know that I won't make a fool of myself and that we won't meet Team Rocket."
Serena: "It's not nice of him to think, you would make a fool of yourself."
Mr: "He didn't say that, that's just my interpretation of what he said. He was also worried about us and said we should not walk too far away."
Serena: "OK, but now, let's enjoy the walk. ... By the way, where are we heading to?"
Me: "It's a surprise."
Serena: "OK."

After we've left the city, I ran on top of a hill and Serena followed. We sat down on the grass.
Me: "And, what do you think about this place?"
Serena: "It's beautiful ..."

Me: "You probably have noticed the full moon. But have you also noticed the shooting stars?"
Serena: "I haven't seen one, yet. ... Wait! There is one! Let's make a wish."
Me: "Great idea."
Serena: "So, what did you wish for?"
Me: "If I told you, it wouldn't come true. That's why I won't ask what you wished for.

We have been watching the stars for a while, I started a conversation.
Comets are cool, aren't they? (AN They really are. They are huge, dirty snowballs.) They are like humans. They travel around to see and experience now things. And in the course of time, they shine less bright but have experienced a lot and still want to experience more. That's what humans should do more often, always being keen on experiencing new things."
Serena: "Wow, Ash ... that's deep."
Me: "Thanks. But now, please be quiet and listen."
Serena: "To what."
Me: "Just listen."
Some time passed.
Me: "And, did you enjoy the hidden music of the nature? All the Pokémon compose a lovely melody, together."
Serena: "It really was beautiful."
Me: "The night remembers my on how mysterious the world still is. The night also gives me some dreams I could never have at day. The day is too serious. I mean you are not allowed to be daydreaming. Dreams you want to fulfill, dreams that make you happy and dreams let you escape from the real world. What would life be without dreams?"
Serena: "Wow, Ash. I didn't know you are that philosophic."
Me: "Well, that isn't the only side of me, you didn't know."
Serena: "What other sides of you are there, I didn't know?"
Me: "You'll see ..."
Serena: "Tell me, Ash, ... please."
Me: *Oh no! She stares at me with her beautiful eyes. She wants an answer and if I don't give her one, she will be sad. and I can't stand it when she's sad. But I have to!*
"I will tell you, soon."
Serena: "Please tell me, now."
Me: "If you had stopped asking for it, I could have told you till now."
Serena: "Fine ..."
Me: *OK, now comes the confession part. Just do what you wanted to to. Just do it, make your dreams come true. (AN Is there a copyright on 'Just do it'? I mean, on the song 'Happy birthday' there was.)*

Right then, Pikachu came up to me and gave me the blue cornflowers.
Me: "Serena, how to say ... I found another dream."
Serena: "What is that dream?"
Me: "Just be patient, you will see."
Serena: "OK, Ash."
Me: "It's a new dream, a better dream ... A dream which I hope will come true."
Serena: "Can you do something to make your wish come true, or is the only thing you can do, hoping it will come true."
Me: "Both, I can do something but also have to hope."
Serena: "I hope your efforts won't be for nothing."
Me: "I hope so, too."

After looking at the stars for some time, I decided to tell her.
Me: "Serena, I have some flowers for you."
Serena: "Thank you, Ash. What flowers are they?"
Me: "That are blue cornflowers. Do you know what they stand for?"
Serena: "Not exactly."
Me: "Well, there used to be the literature epoch of Romanticism and the blue flower was the most important symbol of that epoch. The poet introducing that symbol said, this is the flower he thinks of, when he talked about it. It stands for longing. You see, in facts, this flowers and not red roses are the most romantic flowers... I have been waiting for long enough, I have to tell you. The new dream, I am longing for, are you. Serena, I love you, not as a friend, not as a sister but as a person I want the rest of my life with. I love you."
*After I said that, she looked shocked and surprised. I have been pretty sure she loves me, too but now I start doubting it.*
Me: "Serena, it's OK if you don't love me."
Serena (crying tears of joy and hugging me): "Ash, how can you say something like that? Of course I love you, too. I am just to overwhelmed by everything. You are not dense and you love me too. Ash, you made my dream come true, thank you very much."
Me (hugging her): "You want to know, why I acted so dense, back then, don't you?"
Serena (breaking the hug): "Yes, that would be very interesting."
Me: "Well, I act so dense because I used to be really dense for a long time and it's still a bad habit. And a wanted to make sure, you have a beautiful soul. A beautiful soul has a person who would help another person in trouble without hesitating and would even take an own disadvantage just to help. This person would also balance duty and liking.
And I came to the result you have the most beautiful soul I have every seen. Don't get me wrong, everything on you is beautiful, the inside and the outside. You are the most beautiful person I have ever met."
Serena (crying tears of joy again): "Oh, Ash ..."

Then she suddenly kissed me on the mouth.
I was shocked at first but started to kiss her back. This was the moment I wish would never end. Everything was just perfect. Not even in my wildest dreams I could have imagined how undescribable this moment was. Every word I would use to explain this moment wouldn't t even explain a thing. Just two words could describe this moment and not even well: "Undescribably perfect". But after some time we had to break the kiss, unfortunately.
Serena: "Sorry, I was just overwhelmed and lost control."
Me: "Nonsense. You have to accept your feelings and try to show them. This world just wants you to think that the intellect is the most important thing, but in facts it's the emotions."
Serena: "You are right. You know Ash, I never told you what I love about you. I love your selfless attitude and your courage, also your determination and that you never give up. For me, you also have the most beautiful soul I have ever seen. And you don't look too bad at the outside either."
Me: "Thank you, but we have to go, it's pretty late."
Serena: "But first, one more thing."
I wanted to ask what she meant but I was interrupted by her kissing me again. ... I guess she is more courageous than me because I wanted to do the same thing but didn't dare to. After we broke the kiss, we headed back to the Pokémon Centre, holding hands, at midnight and everything felt do mysterious but not scaring, it just made me feel curios. I wanted to explore everything I haven't seen yet, together with my new girlfriend, the 'my' doesn't mean I own her. And I know we will encounter new problems and difficulties but we will encounter them together, as a couple. And with her on my side, every moment is just undescribably perfect.

So it's finally done, my second fanfic. Sorry you had to wait that long but I want to write good fanfictions and that's why I take as much time as I need. The next fanfic will be a longer one, so I won't post it, when it's completely finished. So you could tell me how the story should go on and what I could improve.
