When Roman and Nikki first met each other they were both in Relationships, when Nikki's relationship ended Roman was there to give her a shoulder to cry on, a connection between them started to develop and once he realised he had feelings for her he ended his relationship and decided to ask Nikki out she didn't have to think twice about it.

Once Nikki said yes to a date they both decided until they were off the road for a couple of days and since they both lived in Tampa it made it easier, Roman booked a private at table at a fancy and expensive restaurant they were wined and dined all night, they talked getting to know each other a bit better the restaurant was getting ready to close when they decided to leave, Roman being the gentleman that he is walked Nikki home, once at her front he placed a soft kiss on her cheek and waited until she was inside before heading home himself.
