"I can't believe you actually are wearing that," Lea said, laughing as she saw Calum walking out with a giant brim hat- the kind that'd be seen on the cover of some sort of outdoorsy magazine.

"Wait, I can't believe you actually bought it in the first place," Lea then added.

"It's good for sun protection. Don't come crying to me when you're sunburnt and I'm perfectly tanned," Calum said frowning, adjusting the straps so that it was a bit more loose.

They were going to the beach on their first day in Florida and the two were excited. Lea obviously a bit less now that Calum was wearing the stupid floppy hat.

Lea, of course, found it endearing but for now she was going to tease Calum a bit. She truly thought he looked so cute with it on but she wasn't about to say a word or else she'd be the one getting teased.

"You're so mean," Calum muttered, flicking his girlfriend lightly on the side.

"I know."

"Calum, you need to slow down. My legs aren't as long as yours," Lea said.

She let go of one of the handle bars and moved forward so that she could pay him on the shoulder. They were riding a tandem bike. It was so difficult for her since her legs were so short but it was even harder when Calum decided to just keep peddling like it was no big deal.

"Sorry. I'll slow down. Actually, we might as well stop. I'm getting tired," Calum said.

He started steering himself and Lea off the bike path and the two slowly climbed off. Calum brought the rental bike with them as they walked closer to the shore. Lea was the first to fall down onto the sand and after Calum put the bike down gently, he followed.

"I love the beach right now," Lea said. She pointed to the sun that was starting to set and Calum nodded his head in agreement.

"It's so beautiful," Calum added.

"Not as beautiful as you," Lea said. A course of giggles went through her body as she saw the look Calum gave her.

"I saw the chance and I took it," she stated, laughing louder once Calum pinched her side. She was ticklish there and he knew it.

"This is why I should've dated Michael instead of you," Calum said, shaking his head. He was chuckling as well but he just couldn't believe how cute his girlfriend could be. She was so quirky and he loved it.

Lea leaned back and laid down in the sand, loving the warm sand on her body. It felt so nice. Compared to their horribly cold home, Florida was so welcoming.

"You're going to get sand all over you and I'm not gonna be there to help you get it out. It's going to get all over the car seats," Calum grumbled.

"You're really not going to help me get it out? In the shower? Stripping down to nothin? Rubbing areas so it leaves? Suit yourself," Lea said, a slight twinge of seduction in her voice.

Calum gulped, grabbing sand and throwing a bit more onto his girlfriend. She honestly had no idea what he was doing but she let it happen. He immediately started pulling Lea up and off the sand after.

"Where are we going?" Lea asked, allowing Calum to drag her and the bike simultaneously.

"You seem to have gotten a bit of sand on you," Calum said.

"What? Oh," Lea said. She laughed loudly as Calum put the bike back into the stand and was soon picking her up, so that they could get to the hotel faster.

"You didn't have to pick me up," Lea said, gripping tightly on to Calum's shoulder.

"I definitely did. You probably would've walked right back on to the beach and gone into the water just to tease me more," Calum stated, opening the door to the lobby. The two walked in, ignoring the few weird stares they got, and were soon in the hotel.

Lea was finally set down but it was pressed against the glass of their towel.

"So does your offer still stand?" Calum asked, leaning in closer. His lips brushed Lea's shoulder and she bit her lip to bite back a whimper.

Calum didn't get a response. Well he did, but it was with Lea's mouth on his.
