Oof, I'm just copy and pasting everything into here since there are multiple scenarios of this i think. Anyways, this was based around the time when I had gotten my surgery for scoliosis.

Roman shifted on the couch for the fifth time in the past five minutes. He was near tears but didn't feel like grabbing his pain meds, so instead he readjusted the pillows next to him and held his side. He hissed in pain as he shifted again, pulling a blanket over himself. He couldn't let the others know... Not yet at least...
