Y/n's pov

Sans took us to a huge group of monsters. To be honest, I was kinda scared. First impressions have to be good if you wanna start off on the right foot, so this was very nerve wracking. Sans then said "y/n, b/n, these are my friends. The tall skeleton over there is papyrus, next is the goat monsters, toriel and asgore, their child frisk, the blue fish is undyne, next to her is alphys, and the pink robot is mettaton", b/n and I waved at them and I said "nice to meet you all". B/n said "same", in acquaintance to what I said. B/n then turned to me, and put a hand on my shoulder before saying "ok y/n, whatever you do, don't geek out about their monster magic ok. We don't need you to squeal at frequencies only dogs should hear". I turned to b/n and put a hand on his shoulder, turning to him and saying "I'll try". This caught everyone's attention, sans asked "wait, you've never seen monster magic?". I shook my head 'no', and said "nope, I haven't seen monster magic before. I mean, I haven't even seen my own soul before". Then frisk just held out their hands and a red heart appeared. My jaw almost dropped, I said "woah" in amazement. I then held out my arms and tried to summon my soul, nothing happened. Welp, that was embarrassing. Sans then came over to me and held out his hand, I felt a tug on my chest, and a f/c heart began to appear. What shocked me was that there were scratches and chips in it. Going off of frisks soul, I could see that it wasn't normal. I asked "wait what's wrong with it? Why are there scratches at chips?", sans said "uhh, I don't know. This only happens if someone goes through a loss, or was strongly emotionally hurt". I then said "oh, that explains it. So then this happened when mom and dad passed", I pointed to the two chips, "and these scratches happened cause of stress, worry, and sadness. Huh". Everyone looked shocked and worried, I figured it would be a good idea to change the subject. Just then, my favorite song came on. I then said "oh my gosh I love this song, I'll come back when the songs over don't worry", and made my way over to the rink. The second my skates hit the hard wood, my speed increased and I was on beat with the song. I grooved to the beat to the song, sometimes getting faster while doing so. I turns out that everyone followed me out onto the rink. Toriel, asgore, and frisk had regular skates, and the rest of us had inline skates. The song ended, and another song played. I knew the song, so I stayed on the rink. Since the song was slow, I went to the middle of the rink and started skating backwards. Once the song picked up speed, I went back to skating forward. I saw frisk struggling to keep up, so I went back to skating backwards and skated in front of frisk holding my hands out to them. Frisk took my hand and let me guide her, I yelled to her over the music "you have to balance frisk. If you can balance yourself, you can control yourself". Frisk nodded and did their best to center their balance, I let go of one of her hands and face her a thumbs up. I then held frisks hand and started skating forward again, purposely skating slowly for them. Frisk soon gave me a thumbs up, so I let go of their hand, and skated at my own pace. I was enjoying the song, when out of no where my skates are knocked out from under me. I fell backwards, and hit the ground hard. I looked around and saw the sore looser from yesterday, laughing at me with two other girls by her side. I got up, with my lower back and butt now sore from falling, and skated off the rink. B/n, sans, toriel, and undyne were the first few to follow me off the rink. B/n asked "y/n are you ok?", sans asked "what happened?", and I felt pressured. B/n noticed, and shut himself and everyone else up. I said "I'll be fine guys, it was just a fall. I'll just wait until I don't feel so sore and then start skating again, no prob. Ok", toriel then set a paw on my back and the soreness stopped. When it stopped, I turned to toriel and asked "how did you do that?". Toriel giggled and said "healing magic my child", I was throughly impressed by that. I said "thanks toriel, for healing me", toriel said "anytime my child". I then saw b/n and sans death glaring the one girl that tripped me. Sans was making his way over to her, and I could tell he was going to hurt her. I raced over to sans and wrapped my arms around his torso, positioning my skates so I wouldn't move. I then said "sans don't, we don't need a scene here", sans stopped moving forward and sighed. Sans said "fine, whatever", I then let go of him, and led him to the rink. I saw him give the girl another death glare before getting on the rink. I sighed and skated around a bit, still a little sore from the fall. Toriel helped a lot though, so it's just a small amount of pain. Once I felt comfortable again, I sped up. Unfortunately, no races were called today, but at least I got to skate with my friends. That's all that matters right? Spending quality time with friends and family? I think so at least. Once skating time came to a stop, everyone changed back into their shoes, and I changed back into my outdoor skates. Sans and papyrus came up to me and b/n and sans asked "hey, do you wanna hang out later? Tori wants you two to go shopping with her and frisk, so maybe after that?". I said "sure, I'll go with toriel to go shopping", b/n cut in and said "and I'll hang out with you and papyrus". I said "sounds like a plan, lets go", and followed toriel out of the rink.
