Y/n's pov

After sans offered to introduce his friends to me, I was ecstatic. I bet his friends are monsters like him too. I got a bag of fries from grillby and changed into my outdoor skates, which are f/c and light grey. I then put my other skates in my f/c bag, leaving the rink with my f/c bag over my shoulder and the bag of fries in my hand. I got to my apartment and was greeted by b/n at the door, I gave him the fries, and he got the bottle of ketchup from the fridge. I smiled, knowing that b/n got something to eat for dinner. Since b/n is 16, he's been applying for jobs all over the place to help pay for rent and food. B/n has light brown hair, and blue eyes. Despite being younger than me, b/n is definitely taller than me by like 5 inches or something. I'm 18, meaning I'm almost done with high school. Junior year was probably the most stressful year I've ever had. Keeping up with school work and having a job will take a toll on your free time, but I made it work. I shook my head and headed to the living room, I then sat next to b/n, watching him wolf down the fries. I then said "hey b/n", b/n looked up at me and said "yeah?", food still in his mouth as he said it. I said "we're gonna be meeting up with a few monsters at the roller rink tomorrow at noon", b/n said "ok?", as if wondering why this concerned him. I then said "you're coming with me b/n. I told them you were coming, so you're coming", b/n sighed and said "but we have no money, how are we supposed to get in?". I said "the whole staff knows who I am, you will be able to go in because they know you too", b/n sighed again and said "whatever you say y/n". I then got up and said "I'm going to go set out a pair of clothes for you to wear tomorrow", b/n said "ok", and continued to stuff his face with fries. I went up to his room and began to search through his closet for decent clothes that he'd wear. I picked out a pair of black sweat pants and a grey t-shirt that says "In my defense I was left unsupervised", I then pulled out a pair of socks that would be good for skating in. I sighed and said to myself "honestly, what would you do without me?.... I don't know what I'd do without you, but I just don't know what you'd do without me", I then proceeded to fold b/n's clothes, and put them on his desk. When I came back out to the living room, there was a pile of fries and a dipping cup full of ketchup for me. Just then, my stomach growled. I rolled my eyes at myself and went over to the couch, I then ate all of the fries served to me. B/n got up and said "Welp, I'm heading to bed. By the way, y/n, take your skates off. You gotta let your feet breathe some you know. Anyway, good night", I said "good night b/n", and began to take off my skates. I then took my skates up to my room with me before getting ready for bed. It feels weird to walk, though I'm familiar with it. I'm just so used to skating around all the time I guess. I set my clothes out for tomorrow, which is a dark grey pair of sweat pants with a pink little decorative symbol on it, and a grey t-shirt that says "I'm all about naps" on it. Then I put my f/c hoodie with it, and bam! Outfit for tomorrow. I changed into my pajamas, and went to bed shortly after.

B/n's pov

I went to bed knowing y/n would soon follow suit. As sleep consumed me, I just enjoyed the feeling of sleep. Unfortunately, the sleep was short lived when I heard a yelp and bolted up. My brotherly instincts tell me it was y/n, and I was right. It was about four in the morning this time, I came in and saw her cocooned into a quivering ball of blankets. I could hear choked sobs come out and I knew that y/n had another nightmare. She gets them almost every night, ever since mom and dad died because of a shooting that happened. They died in front of us, y/n was hit the hardest when it happened, mainly because a lot of responsibility rested on her shoulders alone. I tried to unwrap y/n from her cocoon of blankets, and when she saw me, she latched onto me like a lifeline. She kept crying, saying "I'm sorry" and "it's my fault" over and over again. We both got into a comfortable position, me laying on my side, and y/n curled around my left arm. We both eventually feel back asleep, cuddled up against each other. When we woke up, it was about 10 am. Y/n shot up after looking at the time and yelled "HOLY CRAP! B/n we have to get ready! We have to be at the rink, dressed and ready by noon", I just got up and went to my room. I got changed into the clothes y/n set out, put on some moccasins (basically outdoor slippers), grabbed my skates, and went to the living room. I sat down on the couch and said "ok, I'm ready". Y/n then came out of her room in black sweat pants, and a grey t-shirt that read "I'm all about naps". In my head I was like "Jeez I wonder why" with sarcasm all over my voice. You'd probably nap a lot too if you woke up in the middle of the night on a daily basis. Y/n then put on her outdoor skates and grabbed her indoor skates, which were in her bag, and slung them over shoulder. We were out the door by 11 am, I was pulling y/n along the side walk the whole way there. All y/n had to do was avoid any bumps in the side walk. We both know how to get there, so it didn't take to long to get there. When we got there, sure enough, we got in. Y/n then took me the a restaurant in the rink called grillbys. She's told me about it, but it's different seeing it in person. I sat down with y/n, and a fire elemental monster came up to us. Y/n switched into her indoor skates quickly, so if a good song came on she could go. I didn't see any other employees, so I waved down the fire elemental. The fire elemental came to me and said "yes?" In a crackly voice, I asked "are you by any chance hiring? I need a job of some sort, and this looks like a good place". Y/n came in and told me "by the way b/n, his name is grillby", I nodded and said "ok". Grillby then said "yes I am actually, I've been waiting for someone to apply for a long time. When are you free?", I said "uhh, 2:40pm to 6:00pm on weekdays, and noon till 6:00 pm on the weekends". Grillby then nodded and said "alright, you can start tomorrow. I'll have a uniform ready for you then", I couldn't believe it. I got hired! And he didn't even ask for a resume or something. I looked over at y/n, and she was beaming. A voice then came from behind me and y/n, it said "heya y/n". I turned around to see a short skeleton, y/n turned around and said "oh hi sans. Sans, this is my brother b/n. B/n, this is sans". I waved at him and said "nice to meet you sans, it's nice to know my sister made some friends", sans then said "thanks, by the way, the group is waiting on us".

Y/n's pov

I was glad to see sans again, and I was even more glad that b/n got a job. B/n and I got up, following sans to the group. I actually had to go grab a locker, so I could put my bag down. I then followed sans to a huge group of monsters. There were two goat monsters, a pink robot, a yellow lizard with glasses, a blue fish lady, a tall skeleton, and a human child. Welp, this will be interesting...
