" I cal the couch!"

" Oooh, can I sit with you?"

" NOO!"

" Too late!"

Gemini leaped onto the couch. 

" HEYYY, LEMME JOIN YOU!"

All around the friends, the storm raged outside.

Taurus shivered. " I hope we don't lose power," She told Cancer. Her friend paled. " W-what if we do? The world will end! ARIES!"

Next to her, Virgo sighed. " Cancer, we're NOT going to lose power. The storm will end soon."

As if arguing with her, and bright flash of lightning and horrific boom of thunder shook the mountain house.

Cancer started crying. Leo jumped about a foot in the air.

Another flash of lightning. They heard a knock at the door. Virgo stood up to get it, but there was no need. The door opened and........

Virgo fainted. Gemini screamed. Cancer started crying even harder, Aries wrapping his arms around her. Libra hid her face in Leo's shoulder. 

" May I come in?" The raspy voice echoed around the room.

Gemini nodded numbly.

A man, in his fortys or fiftys, stepped in. You're probably wondering what made the friends so scared.

Well, this man. He had scars all over his face, his arms, his legs. His eyes were.....hollow.

BOOM!

Gemini jumped into Aquarius' arms. 

" W-who are you?" Leo asked shakily.

" No need to tell," The man rasped. He walked towards the kitchen. 

Taurus stepped forward bravely. " Hey, we never said you could go in there!"

The man turned, and pointed a finger at the girl. She fell in a heap. 

" HEY, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING TO MY-" Capricorn started angrily, but the man pointed a finger at him. 

" Don't ANY of you, try something like that. You'll regret it." He rasped. Behind the group, Scorpio inched towards the door. This had to be a hallucination. 

" You." Scorpio jumped at the voice so close. " I wouldn't try anything stupid."

Scorpio sprinted to the door, opened it and slammed it shut again. He fell to the floor, not sure what was going on. 

And then all he saw was darkness.

" Scorp, wake up!" Scorpio woke up to Aquarius hovering over him urgently. 

" He's awake!" Aqua called into the hall. Virgo hustled in, her face all worried. " Are you alright?" She asked Scorpio, feeling his forehead. 

" Yeah, I'm fine, why?" Scorpio sat up in bed. He felt fine.

" It's 1 in the afternoon. You went to bed at 10!"

" Well, I was tired!" Scorpio rubbed his eyes. Why was Virgo so worried? And then he remembered his dream. Huh. It HAD been pretty weird, and that part about Virgo fainting, and the man......

Gosh. It was terrible. Scary. 

" I'm FINE." He told her. " I'm hungary tho, let me get some breakfast."

" You mean lunch." Aquarius folded his arms.

" Sure. Whatever. Vi, can you make me a pb and j sandwhich?"

" Sure," Virgo's face was still worried, and she was frowning. Aqua followed her.

Scorpio stretched. 

He got up and was rummaging through his drawer when all of the sudden his felt dizzy. He sat down on his bed and counted to twenty, then got up again. Now he felt fine.

Just the sunshine, he told himself, now feeling fine. He put on clothes for the day and went to the kitchen to get some breakfast, or lunch. 

" What kind of outfit is that?" He was halfway to the kitchen when he heard Pisces voice. He looked down at his clothes, a yellow shirt and striped gray white sweats.

" It's nice, don't you think?" He asked her. Suddenly the dizziness hit him again. He staggered against the wall. 

" You okay?" Pisces asked, walking closer. 

" YES, leave me alone." He snapped, not meaning for it to come out that mean. 

" FINE." Pisces stomped off. Scorpio rubbed his head. He had a pounding headache now. Probably when he staggered against the wall he hit his head. 

Scorpio continued to the kitchen. He hoped Virgo had his food ready, he was starved. So maybe hunger WAS causing the dizziness. He shrugged the thought off. He was fine, really!

" Hey, I got your food ready!" Virgo was standing with a plate ready for him. 

Scorpio's vision swam. " Where?" 

" On this plate, you doffus!" 

" Oh, um sorry. Uh, Virgo, could you help me to the table?" 

" Scorp, are you-"

Virgo never finished her sentence. 

Scorpio fell to the floor. His vision swam, and the last things he saw were two black dots, Virgo and someone else, calling to him, telling him to wake up, that is was okay. 

What had that dream done to him?

And then Scorpio saw black.
