" How do I look?" Gemini asked everyone the next morning, twirling around in her full ski outfit.

" Nice, whatever," Leo took a bite of bagel and spun around in his chair.

Gemini glared at him. " Thanks."

" Hey, watch where you're going, idiot!" Scorpio shouted at Aquarius, who spilled some milk on him.

Virgo bit her lip.

" Really, you've got to talk to one of them. Tell them how you feel!" Gemini whispered in Virgo's ear. " Don't lead them on."

Virgo straightened up, nodded, and walked over to the two boys. " Can you guys please just get along?" She asked sweetly.

Scorpio nodded numbly. " Sorry Virgo. We won't argue again."

" Better not," Virgo fixed the two boys with a glare. On her way back to her seat she saw Sagittarius and Pisces feeding each other breakfast.

" Stoppit, guys, eww, gross!" She yelled.

Embarrassed, the two ate their own breakfasts. 

After everyone finished eating, Gemini stood on a chair and cleared her throat to get everyone's attention. 

" I'm going to ski the black diamond. Who's coming with me?"

Pisces shuddered. " Not me. I'm going to the quaint store by the lodge with Cancer."

Gemini sighed. " Fine. Who's IS coming with me, tho, seriously?"

Leo stood up. " I'm coming, honey babe." He paused. " Wait, that came out wrong."

Libra blushed, and Virgo nudged her. " I want to come too," Lib announced.

" Yay!" Gemini cheered. " Who else?"

Aquarius and Scorpio stood up at the same time. " Me."

" Well well well," Gemini pursed her lips. " That's the biggest number I can take. The rest of you will have to find something else to do." 

" Hahahahaha," Capricorn doubled over in laughter. Everyone stared at him, wondering what the heck was so funny.

" You-h-have to take L-Leo and Libra, but th-they gonna argue the whole time."

Gemini glared at Leo and Libra. " They better NOT!"

" After you guys are finished, come back to the house and I'll serve hot chocolate," Virgo told the skiers. 

" I'll be looking forward to that," Aquarius replied dreamily, putting his elbows on the counter and staring dreamily at his crush. Scorpio rolled his eyes, plenty jealous.

Soon all the skiers were dressed and ready to go.

" Don't get hurt!" Pisces and Cancer called simutaniously after them. 

" I won't!" Gemini called back.

" I think I'll do the black diamond with you, if that's okay," Scorpio told Gemini.

" Sure!" She smiled at him. " The more, the merrier." 

Truth was, Scorpio really wished Virgo had came with them. He loved her so much, gosh, he would do anything for her. But there was one problem. Aquarius. He knew that Aqua had a crush on her, but Scorpio wasn't quite sure about Virgo's feelings on either of them. Right now she was just acting natural about the both of them. But that night at dinner..............when Virgo'd been asked if she liked him, or Aquarius better, she hadn't answered. But of course their food had been served just then, so it wasn't like she'd had the opportunity......

" Scorpio!" Gemini clapped her gloved hands in front of his face. 

" Sorry!" He apologized, gathering up his ski's and following the girl to the bottom of the hill where the ski lift began.

" Thinking about Virgo, huh?" Gem asked, reading his mind.

" Yeah," He sighed, glancing around to make sure Aquarius wasn't near. Scorpio spotted his trying to break up a fight between Leo and Libra. 

" Those two like each other, but they just don't know it yet," Scorpio pointed to the two.

" I ship it, totally!" Gemini squealed. " Only if they'd get along."

Scorpio nodded, and sat down as the ski lift chair came up to get them. 

" Anyway, back to.....your problem." Gemini cleared her throat. " There's something I need to say. I know that while you and Aqua both like Virgo, I like.......I like Aqua. And I really need you and Virgo to get together, so Aquarius can notice me!"

It was just in that moment that Scorpio realized Gemini was still a loner. For how hot she was, and funny, and smart.....she really need somebody. So Scorpio nodded, determained. He would get Virgo, and free up Aquarius for Gemini. NOTHING would stop him.

" That shirt totally has you written all over it," Cancer squealed at Pisces. The two friends were shopping at the quaint boutique located in the main lodge.

" Hmmm, it does. But I like this one. And I need to save my money, so I can't get both. But I can't decide which one to choose!" Pisces grumbled. She held up both shirt by their hangers for Cancer to get a better look.

" Hmmm, I choose," Cancer closed her eyes.

" No!" Pisces yelled, causing her friend's eyes to flash open. " What?"

" You are most certainly NOT doing a random pick. This has to be VERY thought out." Pisces hugged both shirts to her chest.

" Ladies, ladies, ladies," Aries sauntered over to them.

" What are you doing here?" Cancer asked him. Aries smirked. " Came to babysit you two. With a little help, of course." He looked behind him, nodded, and Sagittarius came out for behind a row of pants.

" Um, were you two stalking us?" Pisces asked plainly.

Aries and Sag blushed. " Uh, maybe?"

She and Cancer sighed. " We'll take that as a yes," Cancer responded for the two of them, sharing a look with Pisces.

" So, are Virgo, Taurus, and Capricorn still at the house?" Pisces asked. 

Sagittarius shook his head. " They went into town to get some stuff." 

The two girls nodded. " Want to shop?" 

Sag took Pisces arm, and Aries took Cancer's, which caused her to blush. She had a crush on him, of course, but didn't want him to know. She doubted he liked her, so she kept quiet.

Little did she know the feeling was mutual........

" Cap, what are you doing?" Virgo hissed at her friend, who was hiding in a row of women's shirts.

" Yeah, get out of there," Taurus placed her hands on her hips.

Capricorn ignored the two girls and pulled out his phone, and put the camera on selfie mode. Taurus and Virgo watched the flash go off as he took the selfie, then pointed the camera at them!

" Noooo!" They both screamed, running in opposite directions.

" SHHHHHHH!" A worker told them.

" You shush," Capricorn stuck his tounge out at her.

The worker glared at him. " EXCUSE ME?"

Taurus ran to Cap's rescue, and  pulled him away from the row of clothes. 

" Sorry about that!" She told the worker, apologizing for her friends behavior.

" Yeah, whatever," The lady rolled her eyes.

Taurus yanked Capricorn all the way to the food aisle. She purposely brought him into an aisle where nobody was so she could yell at him.

" Your behavior is TERRIBLE!" She told him sharply.

" Sorry," Cap mumbled. 

Suddenly Taurus noticed how close they were standing. 

" I ship it!" Virgo screamed from the other end of the aisle, holding out her phone. Taurus and Capricorn watched helplessly as the flash went off from their friend taking a photo.

" I'm  posting this on snapchat! The whole world can see!" Virgo shouted at them.

Capricorn and Taurus rolled their eyes.

" Virgo."

" You're up." Scorpio told Gemini. She nodded, pulled her googles over her face, tightened her grip on her skis, and pushed off.

" Watch out for the edge over there!" Scorpio called after her, doubting she could hear him.

And then that's when it all went wrong. 

Scorpio heard a short cry, he was it. She wasn't moving.

Gemini had crashed. 

Scorpio pushed off and skied over to his friend. It was a challenge, but he made it.

" I'm calling an ambulence." He told her, although he was pretty sure Gemini was unconscious.

Scorpio pulled out his phone and went to phone.

He dialed in three numbers. But then he saw.

He had no reception. 

Finally, one bar.

He punched in the numbers.

911.

" Hello? I've got a hurt friend? Yeah, at the lodge. We're on the black diamond, so when-hello?" Scorpio looked at his phone. He had lost all contact.
