If anyone was ever good at suggesting game ideas, it was Aries. 

" So....wanna play capture the flag?" He suggested as everyone gathered in the sitting room. 

Everyone agreed, so they asked who should be team captains.

" Aries, of course, he's so athletic, and a good runner, and-" Cancer blushed furiously as she realized she was talking out loud.

" It's okay, Can, I think Aries should be one of the captains, too." Taurus smiled at her friend.

" So, if Aries is one captain, who's the other?" Libra asked.

" It should be a girl," Gemini yelled.

" Yeah, you," Scorpio yelled back at her.

" Hey, I actually wouldn't mind that!" Gemini said happily. 

" Yeah, Gem!" Virgo cheered. " You're REALLY athletic, you'd be a great team captain!"

Gemini shrugged. " All right."

" Can I pick first?" Aries asked Gemini sweetly.

" No! We need to do rock, paper, and scissors!" Gem retorted.

So Aries and Sag did rock paper scissors, and Gemini won.

" Yeah!" Virgo cheered.

Gemini smiled at her friend. 

" My first person I'm choosing is someone smart, and will run and tag the other team, and get teamates out of jail, and has the best statistics. So, my first person I'm choosing is Virgo." She smiled at the brown haired girl.

Virgo gasped. " Me? But I'm terrible at capture the flag. I can hardly run!"

" You can run just fine," Gemini told her. " Plus you have perfect aim, like you showed up this morning."

Virgo blushed, and stood next to Gem.

" My turn!" Aries crowed. " My first person is almost as athletic as me, but not quite close enough. Leo, come join me."

" Yeah!" The boy with golden blonde hair pumped his fists in the air and joined his friends side.

" Next," Gemini paused. " I choose....... Scorpio. Because he's fast when he wants to be. And yeah."

Aries rolled his eyes at her. " Fine. Next, Sag.. One, she's quick, and good at tagging people. 

Sagittarius  stuck her tongue out at him, but walked up to Aries team.

" I need another boy. Capricorn." Gemini grinned at the boy.

" Taurus." Aries grinned at her.

" Pisces." Gemini motioned to her friend.

" Aquarius." Aries grinned.

" Libra." Gem said.

" And Cancer. Sorry. Saved the best for last!" Aries tried to cheer her up.

" Yeah right," She muttered crossly.

Soon the boundries had been set, jails, established, and flags hidden. They had all agreed it was nice enough to play outside, since the snow was melting. 

" Ready, set, go!" Virgo yelled, starting the game. At first nobody knew what to do, so they just stood there. Then Leo dashed onto Gemini's team's side. 

" Hey!" Gem yelled at him. " Someone, get him!" She motioned to her team. 

" I will!" Libra offered, dashing off. 

" I'm going on the other side!" Virgo yelled to her team captain, taking tentative steps to the border between the two teams. 

" What? No Virgo come back!" Gemini yelled.

Too late. Virgo had already snuck onto the other side.

" Hey, Sag, get her!" Aries screamed at his teammate.

" No!" Sag retorted, crossing her arms. 

" No? Did you just say NO!"  Aries hollered at her. 

The other team took their arguing as an advantage, Scorpio and Capricorn sneaking to the other side. 

" Scorpio and Capricorn crossed the line!" Taurus screamed at her captain and teammate.

" W-what?" Aries stuttered. " How.....why'd you let them get away?"

" It's not MY fault," Taurus retorted. 

Half an our later, Capricorn, Libra, and Gemini were in Aries's teams jail. 

Taurus, Sag, and Leo were in Gemini's jail.

Both teams knew where each other's flags were, so they need to get to the other side. It was quite hard since the three remaining teammates on each team were facing off. 

" Someone, get us out!" Gemini hollered at her team. 

" We will after we get the flag!" Virgo screamed back at her. 

She turned to Scorpio and Pisces. " On three, we run onto their side. Okay?" 

Pisces and Scorpio nodded.

Little did they know the other team had the same plan. 

As if on cue, both teams counted to three at the same time. 

And when they tried to run into the other territories, they collapsed in one big heaping pile. 

" I think that's game," Gemini told Aries. She stuck out her right hand. Aries took it. " Tie. Good game." 

" You too," Gemini smiled, happy that Aries was actually playing fair for once.

Everyone went back inside to plan the rest of their afternoon.
