This is all my fault...
Koda was in his stuffed animal as usual, laying down on the ground, his eyes full. He stared off into space, constant thoughts of that night... the night VN left...

•<The Night VN Left>•

Koda has woken up to see VN trying to sneak out again. He usually didn't mind... but... he had started to get a bad feeling. He walked over to the girl, tugging on her sleeve then makes a small glitch sound.

"Shhh.... I don't need you getting me caught..." VN mumbles as she turns to look down at him.

Koda went out of his stuffed animal, his spirit appearing. He then hugged VN tightly.

"Hey... I'll be fine. Just like always. I do this often and I always come back right?" VN says softly as she gently pats him on the head.

Koda didn't respond-  because he can't- He just continues to hug her.

"I'll be back in the morning and it will be as though nothing even happened." VN says then finally hugs back.
"I'll come back,"

"I promise..."

•<Back to present time>•

"I promise..."

Those two words echoed in Koda's head on repeat... It wouldn't stop. His own thoughts where haunting him... and he couldn't escape it.
